White House Student Film Festival Has Been Clapped Out Today
first-ever White House Student Film Festival Is launched our and K-12 students from around the country are invited to create and submit one- to three-minute short web videos.
Finalists could have their videos screened at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, and posted on the White House website. It might just be cooler than having homework up on the fridge.
The topic: Highlighting the importance of technology in the classroom — and imagining how technology will change the educational experience for kids in the future.You don’t have to be a kid to be excited about this:
The first ever White House Student Film Festival is open to U.S. students+ grades K-12.This Grade has been asked to come with the answers to the following questions
[a]What’s your education story & how does technology and connectivity fit into how you learn at school or on your own? How do you imagine technology will change the educational experience for kids in the future?
Films can be short – in fact 3 minutes tops. The official selections will be featured on the White House website, and shared across the world on White House sites and official social media accounts. In fact, if selected, you may have a chance to attend the film fest yourself at the White House.

Center Will Provide support for 5000 faculty positions in the higher education
MHRD has proposed to support to RUSA for making provision of 5000 Faculty Positions in Higher Education
The Ministry of Human Resource Development [ MHRD ]proposed to provide for 5000 faculty positions in the higher education under the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) during the current Five Year Plan, ending 2017.
Support will be provided to fill positions in the category of Assistant Professors or equivalent cadre against vacancies. A fixed amount of Rs. 5.8 lakh per year for each faculty position will be given by the Centre and any excess over and above this amount due to higher scales, grade pay or DA increase has to be borne by the State Government. The 99,000 crore rupee programme was approved by the Union Cabinet last month to boost the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) to 30% by 2020 from the present about 19%.
All the State universities will be eligible to receive grants under this programme. The recruitment process will have to adhere to UGC norms and regulations.
The funding priorities are as follows:
[1] Commitments of States to take over the liability of faculty positions at the end of the scheme (after 5-8 years, depending on the year in which such positions are sanctioned).
[2] Priority will be given to those states where more recruitment has taken place in the universities and colleges during the last 3 years.
[3] Lowest number of unfilled faculty positions.
[4] Better student-teacher ratio.
[5] Priority will be given to new institutions.
[6] Second priority shall be given to those states which have a faculty-student ratio between 15:1 to 20:1.
[7] States with more than 20:1 ratio will have to first commit to sanction and fill positions to bring down the faculty-student ratio ration to 20:1.

AAP Disqualified its candidate Of Rajouri Garden Assembly constituency Over Dowry Charge
Aam Aadmi Party [AAP] has disqualified its candidate from Rajouri Garden Assembly constituency ,After Bawana This damage controlling act has left AAP without candidates in Two Assembly constituencies .
AAP has announced the withdrawal of its support to its own official candidate, Pritpal Singh Saluja, from Rajouri Garden constituency in the Delhi Assembly elections. It is found by the party that FIR was registered against him and 3 of his family members in Oct 2012 at Lucknow. It appears that the charge-sheet for Dowry harassment etc was filed against him and some family members by the Lucknow Police in August 2013. A notice was issued by the trial court to him on November 11, 2013, which does not appear to have reached him before November 14, 2013. Therefore, his declaration in the nomination form that no criminal case was pending against him, maybe technically correct.
Party Says “Saluja did not bring these facts to the attention of the party while applying for candidature. The Political Affairs Committee of AAP has taken a serious view of the lapse and in furtherance of its resolve to retire a candidate against whom any serious facts come to the notice of the party which show that he does not conform to the moral standards expected from candidates of the Party, it has decided to withdraw the party’s support to Shri Saluja for the forthcoming Delhi elections.
party said “We are aware that the last date for filing of nominations and withdrawal has passed and therefore the withdrawal of support at this stage would mean that though technically Shri Saluja would continue on the ballot as a candidate of the party but it would effectively mean that the party would leave the seat vacant.”
Party has also ,earlier, withdrawn its support from Manoj from Bawana Assembly constituency

रालोद ने गन्ना किसानो के बकाये के भुगतान के लिए एक दिसंबर से चक्का जाम करने की चेतावनी दी
गन्ना किसानो के बकाये के भुगतान के लिए राष्ट्रीय लोकदल [रालोद]ने एक दिसंबर से गन्ना प्रधान जिलों में चक्का जाम करने की चेतावनी दी है
राष्ट्रीय लोकदल महासचिव एवं लोकसभा सांसद जयन्त चौधरी ने एक बयान में कहा है कि राज्य सरकार जल्द से जल्द गन्ना किसानों का बकाया भुगतान करे। यदि ऐसा नहीं होता है तो रालोद 1 दिसम्बर को राज्य के गन्ना प्रधान जिलों में चक्का जाम करेगा। उन्होंने किसानों से ज्यादा से ज्यादा संख्या में इस आन्दोलन शामिल होने का आवाहन किया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि आम लोगों, व्यापारियों तथा विद्यार्थियों को परेशानी न हो इसलिए यह आन्दोलन दोपहर 12 बजे से 3 बजे तक होगा तथा आपातकालीन सेवाओं तथा रेल यातायात में बाधा नहीं पहुंचाई जाएगी।
श्री जयन्त ने राज्य सरकार से मांग की है कि प्रदेश में चीनी मिलें समय पर चालू हों जिससे गन्ना किसानों को समय से गन्ने का मूल्य मिल सके और वे गेहूं की बुवाई शुरू कर सकें। इसके अलावा उन्होंने राज्य सरकार से उत्तर प्रदेश उच्च न्यायालय के ब्याज सहित बकाया भुगतान के आदेश का पालन करने की भी मांग की है।
रालोद राष्ट्रीय महासचिव ने कहा है कि प्रदेश की 90 चीनी मिलों में से 66 चीनी मिलों ने राज्य सरकार को लिखकर दिया है कि वे किसानों का बकाया भुगतान करने में असमर्थ हैं तथा सरकारी मिलें भी सुचारू रूप से नहीं चल रही हैं। अतः राज्य सरकार को इस समस्या का समाधान जल्द से जल्द करने की भी मांग की है। गन्ना शोध संस्थान, शाहजहांपुर की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार इस बार गन्ने की फसल लागत में 23 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल की बढोत्तरी हुई है। अतः सांसद जयन्त चौधरी ने राज्य सरकार से गन्ना किसानों को लाभकारी मूल्य देने की मांग करते हुए बताया की
उन्होंने बताया कि हरियाणा और पंजाब में गन्ने का मूल्य क्रमशः 301 और 300 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल है। युवा सांसद ने केन्द्र सरकार से चीनी के आयात पर रोक लगाने तथा एथेनाॅल के उत्पादन में 5 से 10 % गन्ने के उपयोग की मांग की है।
रालोद ने २४ नवम्बर को मेरठ आगमन पर मुख्य मंत्री का विरोध करते हुए गिरफ्तारी दी थी इसके अलावा 21 नवम्बर को गन्ना किसानों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए लखनऊ में गन्ना आयुक्त का घेराव किया था। इससे पहले रालोद ने 19 नवम्बर 2009 को जन्तर मन्तर पर आन्दोलन करके गन्ना नियंत्रण संशोधन आदेश, 2009 का विरोध किया था। इस आदेश के तहत केन्द्र सरकार एसएपी और एफआरपी के अन्तर का भुगतान राज्य सरकार पर डालना चाहती थी जबकि पहले इस अंतर का भुगतान सरकारी और निजी सुगर मिलों द्वारा किया जाता था।

This Tale of Human Values and Generosity Is Shown in the Odia film, ‘Sala Budha’ (The Stupid Old Man)
The Director of the Odia film, ‘Sala Budha’ (The Stupid Old Man) Sabyasachi Mohapatra has said that instead of looking at elderly people as liability by the younger ones, he feels that they are a great resource for leading the society.
He said this at a media interaction during the 44th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).Panaji
He said that one in every five persons will be over 65 by 2035. It is not just the traditional values but the older generation who could be the light house for prosperity. Sala Budha has a subtle message for the present fast paced uncaring society. He said that the film is a tale of human values and generosity.
Sala Budha, made in Sambalpuri dialect spoken in the western part of Odisha, is one of the 26 feature films selected for the Indian Panorama category in this year’s edition. Mohapatra said that the story is based on a 100 years old story penned by his father, Sahitya Akademy award winner Shri Kapileswar Prasad Mohapatra. It is a black and white film with an 83-year-old protagonist. Sala Budha commemorates the silver jubilee of Mohapatra’s last film in the Sambalpuri dialect, Bhukha, a widely acclaimed film.
Set in a rural backdrop, Sala Budha is a film that ventures into the folklore lives of these simple God believing people. A journey through their faiths, culture, tradition and musical lives where man has only learnt to give and share.
Atala Bihari Panda, the main protagonist of the film said that acting in his first ever film was a challenge for him since he was a dramatist since childhood. The cast and crew of the film said that IFFI is a wide platform for the filmmakers to have cross cultural interaction and share their ideas of filmmaking.
