Prime Minister Of India Narendra Modi Speaking On National Panchayati Raj Day ,Today, called for ending “sarpanch-pati” culture in panchayats, the practice of husbands of women sarpanches exercising undue influence, as he pitched for a leadership role for elected village representatives to alleviate poverty and promote education
The Prime Minister, Shri Modi, today urged Panchayat members to work with a five-year vision with concrete development plans to bring about positive changes in their village. In his remarks the Prime Minister hailed the contribution of women in the functioning of Panchayats across the country, and called for an end to the practice of “husbands of female Sarpanches” – “Sarpanch Pati” – exercising undue influence.
The Prime Minister urged Panchayat members to instil pride about the village. He said this required a firm resolve, rather than any budgetary provision.
He gave some suggestions in this regard, such as
[1]celebrating a birthday of the village. He said issues such as
[2]education of children in the village, and
[3]vaccination for children, should be paid special attention to, by Panchayat members.
[4]The Prime Minister urged Panchayat members to motivate all Government officials in their village to spend at least one hour a week with schoolchildren of the village.
The Prime Minister gave away the Annual Devolution Index (States) Awards, and E-Panchayat Awards, and congratulated the Zila Parishads and Gram Panchayats who were being felicitated on the occasion.
The Union Minister for Panchayati Raj, Chaudhary Birender Singh, and the MoS Panchayati Raj Shri Nihal Chand were present on the occasion.

South African National held at IGI Air port with drugs worth Rs 24 lakh
A 31-year-old South African woman was today held at the international airport for allegedly trying to smuggle out Rs 24 lakh worth narcotic drugs.
The incident occurred last night around 11.40 PM at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) when a CISF team spotted the woman exhibiting suspicious behaviour when she arrived at the airport terminal.
The woman, identified as Rachael Zulu, was about to board a flight to Johanesburg when she was intercepted.
Interestingly, Dy Commandant Of CISFHemendra Singh said, the woman was possessing two tickets– one for domestic flight to Mumbai and the other for Johanesburg via Abu Dhabi.
“Zulu showed the Mumbai ticket to gain entry into the terminal as she wanted to evade Customs and other intelligence agencies inside the airport. She planned to cross over to the international departure from inside the domestic flying area but was caught.
“She was chosen for a detailed inspection by security officials and when her baggage was scanned, 9 packets containing over 23.6 kilograms of narcotics were found,”

किसानो की मदद के लिए फ़िलहाल टाले जा सकने वाले विकास कार्यों को स्थगित कर दिया जाये
[नई दिल्ली]किसानों की बर्बादी पर मीडिया में बेशक आजकल राजनितिक रोटियां सेंकी जा रही हैं। म्यूजिकल चेयर के गेम में आरोप प्रत्यारोप को एक दूसरे के पाले में धकेला जा रहा है |किसानों की समस्यायों को हल करने के लिए कांग्रेस और “आप” पार्टी रैलियों का सहारा ले रही हैं |मगर वास्तव में संसद में स्थगन प्रस्ताव लेकर भी चर्चा को टालने के प्रयास हो रहे हैं |
कांग्रेस और भाजपा “आप” पार्टी पर निशाने साध रही है”आप”बेचारी भाजपा को कोसने में लगी हुई है|
इस सबके बावजूद संसद के दोनों सदनों में चर्चा जारी है जिससे लगता कि उम्मीद अभी बाक़ी है।प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने स्वयं किसानों की पीड़ा में सहभागी बनते हुए समस्या के निदान के लिए सांसदों से सहयोग की अपील की है|चूंकि समस्या पुरानी है बेटे केंद्र और राज्यों की सरकारों के संकीर्ण दृष्टिकोण के परिणाम स्वरूप हैं| इसके बावजूद यदि चाह हो तो राह भी निकल ही आती है|और चाह राजनीतिक हो तो राह निकलनी भी आसान हो जाती है|
आशा है कि अधिकतर सांसदों के सहयोगी रवैय्ये से सकारात्मक रास्ता निकल सकता है चूंकि पीएम ने सुझाव मांगें है और ये सुझाव राजनितिक दलों द्वारा दिए जाने हैं ऐसे में जाहिर हैं सुझाव राजनीती की चाशनी में लिपटे हुए ही होंगें।
झल्ले की अराजनीतिक सोच के अनुसार समस्या वाले प्रदेशों में टाले जा सकने वाले विकास के कार्यों को फ़िलहाल स्थगित करके उस धन से पीड़ित किसानों की तात्कालिक मदद कर दी जाये क्योंकि अन्नदाता बचेगा तभी तो जनमानस भी बचेगा

लोकसभा में प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कहा कि कई वर्षों से, किसानों की आत्महत्या, समग्र देश के लिए चिंता का विषय रहा है। समय समय पर, हर सरकार ने, उनसे जो भी संभव हुआ, करती रही है। कल की घटना[गजेन्द्र की आत्महत्या] के कारण पूरे देश में जो पीड़ा है, उसकी अभिव्यक्ति सदन के भी सभी माननीय सदस्यों ने की है। पीएम ने इस पीड़ा में सहभागिता दर्शाते हुए कहा कि “यह हम सब का संकल्प रहे, हम सब मिल कर के, इस समस्या का समाधान कैसे ढूंढें” उन्होंने कहा कि समस्या बहुत पुरानी है, समस्या बड़ी व्यापक है, और उसे उस रूप में लेना पड़ेगा। जो भी अच्छे सुझाव होंगे उसे ले करके चलने के लिए सरकार तैयार है। किसान की ज़िंदगी से बड़ी कोई चीज़ नहीं होती। इंसान की ज़िंदगी से बड़ी कोई चीज़ नहीं होती। और इसलिए, गृहमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने सरकार की तरफ से जो जानकारी देनी थी वह आपको दी है, लेकिन मैं, इस सदन की पीड़ा के साथ अपने आप को जोड़ते हुए.कहना चाहता हूँ हम सबको सोचना होगा कि हम कहाँ गलत रहे, वो कौनसे गलत रास्ते पर चल पड़े, वो कौनसी कमियां रही, पहले क्या कमियां रही, पिछले दस महीनों में क्या कमियां रही, यह सबका दायित्व है। लेकिन किसानों की इस समस्या के समाधान का रास्ता हमको खोजना है, और इस विषय पर खुले मन से, जो भी सुझाव आये, ज़रूर बताये जाएँ |किसान को असहाय नहीं छोडा जा सकता |मरने के लिए नहीं छोड़ा जा सकता|कोई न कोई हल अवश्य निकल कर आएगा |

Expired CFL May Lead To Health Hazards This is informed By Power Minister In Lok Sabha Today
CFL bulbs contain mercury which is a hazardous element if disposed of carelessly. The expired/used CFL bulbs thrown into Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) dumpyards may lead to health hazards because of mercury and its compounds. This was stated by Sh. Piyush Goyal, Minister of State (IC) for Power, Coal & New and Renewable Energy in a written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today. The Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change had constituted a Task Force to evolve a policy on “Environmentally Sound Management of mercury in Fluorescent Lamps”. A Technical Committee, constituted by this Task Force, had prepared “Guidelines for Environmentally Sound Mercury Management in Fluorescent Lamps Sector”. The Minister Said that
These guidelines prescribe the best practices at various levels such as at manufacturers’ level and include aspects relating to mercury consumption, process technology, raw mercury distillation, on-site storage, treatment, recycling, disposal of mercury bearing wastes and mercury spill management,

श्री विज ने जंतर मंतर पर गजेन्द्र की मौत पर सवाल उठाते हुए पुछा है के कहीं यह आम आदमी पार्टी द्वारा निर्देशित आमिर खान की फिल्म” पीपली [लाइव]” का नया संस्करण तो नहीं ? अनिल विज आजकल सोशल साइट ट्वीटर पर ज्यादा सक्रिय हैं और आये दिन विरोधियों को निशाने पर ले रहे हैं |प्रदेश में केबिनेट मंत्री बनते ही श्री विज अस्पतालों में छापे मार कर चर्चा में आते रहे हैं लेकिन आज कल ट्वीटर के माध्यम से राजनीती में अधिक सक्रीय हैं |

गौरतलब है के आम आदमी पार्टी [आप] की जंतर-मंतर पर भूमि अधिग्रहण के खिलाफ आयोजित रैली के दौरान एक राजस्थान के गजेन्द्र नामक किसान ने फांसी लगाली।
रैली में उस समय दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल मौजूद थे।इस किसान की पहचान गजेंद्र सिंह के रूप में हुई है।वह जंतर-मंतर पर आप नेताओं की मौजूदगी में पेड़ पर चढ़ गया और गमछे से खुद को फांसी लगा ली।” जिसके बावजूद लगभग ७४ मिन्ट्स तक रैली बदस्तूर जारी रही जिसके चलते आप” पार्टी पर असंवेदनशील होने के आरोप भी लग रहे हैं

Delhi Police have registered an FIR against unknown persons in connection with the alleged suicide of a Rajasthan-based farmer during a rally of Aam Aadmi Party and probe has been handed over to the Crime Branch.
Meanwhile, police have said that no written permission was given to the rally till the end and they had appealed to the organisers to change the venue from Jantar Mantar to a spacious place Ramlila ground.
Describing the suicide of a farmer at his rally venue as “extremely sad incident”, Face Savior Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ordered a magisterial inquiry into the matter.
Delhi Government has asked District Magistrate of the area (New Delhi District) to probe into the entire incident.
The government will await the inquiry report before any further reaction.
A distressed farmer from Rajasthan committed suicide in full public view in the presence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who came under attack for “utter insensitivity” in going ahead with his rally.
The incident triggered a blame game among political rivals with demands being made that a case of murder be filed against AAP which had organised a rally against the Centre’s land acquisition ordinance.
PM Narendra Modi today said he was “deeply shattered” and “disappointed” over the suicide by a farmer and told the farming community not to consider themselves alone.
