थाना सेक्टर 24 क्षेत्र के सेक्टर 22 के समीप एक मनचले ने महिला पत्रकार के साथ अश्लील हरकत किया।
स्थानीय पोलिस के अनुसार ,महिला पत्रकार सेक्टर तीन स्थित एक न्यूज़ चैनल में काम करती है
महिला पत्रकार की सूचना पर अज्ञात के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट दर्ज की गई है
पीड़िता ने ने पुलिस पर त्वरित कार्रवाई नहीं करने के आरोप लगाते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री, डीजीपी सहित कई लोगों को ट्वीट किया है।

समाजवादी पार्टी (सपा) से निष्कासित राज्यसभा सदस्य अमर सिंह ने वरिष्ठ सपा नेता आजम खां को आज चुनौती देते हुए कहा कि वह 30 अगस्त को खां के गृह जनपद रामपुर जाएंगे, उनमें हौसला हो तो अपना इरादा पूरा कर लें।
सिंह ने यहां प्रेस कांफ्रेंस में कहा ‘‘आजम खां ने जिस तरह मेरी बेटियों को तेजाब से नहलाने की धमकी दी है, मैं उन्हें चुनौती देता हूं। मैं 30 अगस्त को उनके जिले रामपुर जा रहा हूं। अगर उनमें दम हो तो वह मेरी कुरबानी ले लें और मेरी बेटियों को छोड़ दें।’’
उन्होंने दावा किया कि खां ने एक टीवी चैनल को दिये गये साक्षात्कार में उनकी बेटियों के लिये धमकी भरे शब्द इस्तेमाल करते हुए कहा कि ‘‘हमें काटा जाएगा और बेटियों को तेजाब से नहलाया जाएगा।‘‘

थाना दादरी क्षेत्र के लोहारली गांव के पास राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग हाईवे- 91 पर आज सुबह दिल्ली आ रही शाहजहांपुर रोडवेज की बस अनियंत्रित होकर पलट गयी जिसमें दर्जन भर लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए, जबकि एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई।
बिजली के खंभे से टकराती हुई हाईवे से करीब 20 फीट नीचे पलटते हुए गिर गई।
घायलों को दादरी व ग्रेटर नोएडा के अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया है।
मृतक का नाम रामकुमार (36 वर्ष) बताया गया है

आप के पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष सुखपाल सिंह खैरा के नेतृत्व वाले बागी गुट ने धरोहर महाराजा रणबीर क्लब में बार खोलने की संगरूर जिला प्रशासन की कथित योजना का विरोध किया।
इन्होने शून्यकाल में सदन में अध्यक्ष के आसन के पास जाकर सरकार विरोधी नारे लगाए जबकि दिली समर्थित नेता प्रतिपक्ष हरपाल सिंह चीमा के नेतृत्व वाले 12 अन्य विधायक अपनी अपनी सीटों पर बैठे रहे।
विधायक एच एस फूलका चीमा गुट के साथ संसदीय कार्य मंत्री ब्रहम महिन्द्रा के एक अनुरोध का विरोध करने के लिए सदन में अध्यक्ष की कुर्सी के पास पहुंचे। इस दौरान फूलका ने बागी गुट से समर्थन का अनुरोध किया लेकिन बागी गुट ने उनका साथ नहीं दिया।
गौरतलब है कि खैरा को जुलाई में विपक्ष के नेता के पद से हटाए जाने के बाद से आप में संकट पैदा हो गया है|खैरा के साथ ९ विधायक बताये जा रहे हैं

[Bengaluru] Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy Gets Acquitted in Land Scam Case
A special Lokayukta court acquitted Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today in a case of alleged illegal de-notification of a government land in 2007, when he headed the JD(S)-BJP coalition government.
In his order, judge D B Patil said he did not find any proof to establish Kumaraswamy’s guilt in the case.
Kumaraswamy, who now leads a Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government, had filed a petition seeking dismissal of the case contending that there was no proof to establish that he had de-notified the land.
Kumaraswamy as the chief minister in October 2007 de-notified 3.8 acres of land in Thanisandra village, which had been acquired by the Bangalore Development Authority for formation of residential sites in Arkavathy Layout.

Meghalaya CM+NPP president Conrad K Sangma today won the South Tura by-election by defeating his nearest Congress rival Charlotte W Momin by over 8,400 votes
With Sangma’s win the National People’s Party has levelled its tally at 20 with the opposition Congress in the 60-member Meghalaya Assembly.
The NPP is heading a six-party Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government in the state.
The NPP president secured a total of 13,656 votes of the 22,200 plus total votes polled in South Tura. His closest rival of the Congress, Charlotte W Momin, got 8,421 votes,
Besides the NPP, the MDA also has the support of the BJP (2), NCP (1) along with the regional parties – United Democratic Party (7), the Peoples Democratic Front (4), the Hill State Peoples Democratic Party (2) and 2 Independents.
