पंजाब सरकार द्वारा स्टेट बैसाखी बम्पर २०१९ को “अलादीन का चिराग” बता कर भोले भाले पंजाबियों को लाटरी व्यवसाय में बार बार भाग्य आजमाने को ललचाया जा रहा है|पंजाब सरकार स्टेट बैसाखी बम्पर २०१९ के नतीजों में ३४ वर्षीय परविंदर सिंह को दो करोड़ रु का ईमान घोषित किया गया है|एक एकड़ भूमि के स्वामी परविंदर को आगे रख कर युवाओं को लाटरी के मध्य से करोड़पति बनने के ख़्वाब दिखाए जा रहे हैं| उल्लेखनीय है के पंजाब के युवा नशे की लत से अभी बाहर नहीं निकल पाए ऐसे में उन्हें लाटरी के मकड़जाल में फंसाया जा रहा है|पंजाब के लोग अपनी गाढ़े की कमाई को लाटरी में फूंकने को लगातार ललचाये जा रहे हैं|
मालूम हो के अभी हाल ही में सांसद विजय गोयल ने लाटरी व्यवसाय को बंद किये जाने की मांग संसद में की है

Twenty-nine people were killed and 18 injured after a state-run bus skidded off the Yamuna Expressway and fell into a large drain in Uttar Pradesh on Monday
The bus was going from Lucknow to Delhi and had at least 50 passengers on board
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has formed a committee to probe the reasons behind the accident and directed it to submit a report,
The Uttar Pradesh Roadways will pay ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased
“One sleeper coach passenger bus travelling from Lucknow to Delhi met with an accident on Yamuna Expressway (sic),” the Uttar Pradesh Police said on Twitter.
The Janrath bus of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways’ Awadh Depot was going from Lucknow to the national capital’s Anand Vihar ISBT,
The chief minister expressed his condolences and has directed the Agra district magistrate and senior superintendent of police to ensure the injured get proper medical treatment

पंजाब पुलिस ने दो व्यक्तियों को गिरफ्तार करके सेकेंड हैंड वाहनों की खरीद फरोख्त के अवैध करोबार का भंडाफोड़ करने का दावा किया है।
इसमें राज्य परिवहन विभाग के कुछ अधिकारियों की मिलीभगत की बात भी सामने लाई गई है।
वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक(रोपड़)सपना शर्मा के अनुसार पुलिस ने राज्य में अवैध रूप से चल रहे करीब 93 वाहन जब्त किए हैं। इनकी कीमत चार करोड़ रुपए है।
अवैध कारोबार में शामिल दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार करके उनके कब्जे से फर्जी आधार कार्ड जब्त किए गए हैं। पुलिस को संदेह है कि दिल्ली, होशियार, संगरूर और पटियाला के कार डीलर इससे जुड़े हो सकते हैं।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled 18 feet high statue of former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri on Saturday during his day-long visit to his Lok Sabha constituency .

Rajasthan government Friday transferred 38 IPS officers including IGPs, DIGs and SPs.
Anil Paliwal, awaiting posting order, was appointed as Additional Director General of the Anti-Terrorism Squad and the Special Operations Group.
Jodhpur Police Commissioner Biju George was transferred as Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters, Jaipur, Vineeta Thakur as IGP Udaipur, Rupinder Singh as IGP (intelligence) Jaipur, Bhupendra Sahu as IGP (human rights) Jaipur, B L Meena as IGP (Home) Jaipur, Prafful Kumar as commissioner Jodhpur, as per an order of department of personnel.
Similarly, Jose Mohan was transferred as DIG Bikaner range, Hinglaj Dan as DIG ACB Udaipur, Lakshman Gaur as DIG Bharatpur range, Prasann Kumar Khamesara as DIG (CID) Jaipur, Kishan Sahay Meena DIG (CID) Jaipur and Sikar SP Amandeep Singh Kapoor was transferred as DCP (crime), Jaipur Police Commissionerate.
As per the order, SPs of 13 districts including Bhilwara, Nagaur, Barmer, Jalore, Sikar, Pratapgarh, Tonk, Dungarpur, Karauli, Swai Madhopur, Dholpur, Banswara and Jaipur rural were also transferred.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced an allocation of Rs 5.5 crore for the ‘CIC and RTI’ as compared to Rs 9 crore allocated in the Budget for 2018-19.
The allocation is a dip of Rs 3.5 crore or about 38.8 per cent.
In last year’s budget, Rs seven crore was earmarked for the CIC and the RTI, but it was revised to Rs nine crore.
The allocation is for the Department of Personnel and Training’s propagation of the RTI Act, the Budget document said.

Presenting the Budget for 2019-20, she proposed to start a television programme exclusively for startups that will be executed by startups themselves.

Making a statement in response to a calling attention motion introduced by BJP MP RK Sinha, Social Justice and Empowerment minister Thawar Chand Gehlot said over 16 crore people in the country consume alcohol, around 3.1 crore use Cannabis and about 77 lakh people take opioids.
More than 5.7 crore alcohol users, 72 lakh cannabis users and about 77 lakh opioid users are addicted and need help, the minister said.
Gehlot said the findings were part of a national household survey conducted by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in 2018.
Children and adolescents were found to be using inhalents more than others.
Gehlot said the household sample survey covered all the 36 states and union territories of the country .
It was done in collaboration with the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), ten other medical institutes and a network of 15 NGOs.

BJP member Nishikant Dubey Wednesday demanded that regulations be brought in to keep a check on social media to ensure there is no intrusion of privacy.
“Electronic and print media are regulated. Similar regulations should be brought in for social media so that fake news spread through such medium does not intrude on the privacy of an individual,” Dubey said in the Lok Sabha during Zero Hour.
Speaker Om Birla said that it is a “very good topic” and if a member gives notice under Rule 193, the issue could be taken up for short duration discussion.
Jayadev Galla (TDP) asked the government to take steps to ban TikTok app saying it poses serious threat.
Saugata Roy (TMC) and K Suresh (Cong) said even if the members raise important issues, neither a Cabinet Minister nor Parliamentary Affairs Minister was present in the House to take note.
To this, Birla said the Ministers have gone for a meeting of the Union Cabinet and have taken his permission before leaving the House.
