( Delhi,Jun 25) PM Modi Remembers Emergency(1975 -77) as Unforgotten Dark Days
On the 46th anniversary of the imposition of Emergency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said those “dark days” can never be forgotten and called for taking a pledge to strengthen India’s democratic spirit and live up to the values enshrined in the Constitution.
“This is how Congress trampled over our democratic ethos. We remember all those greats who resisted the Emergency and protected Indian democracy,” he tweeted, while sharing a link about several draconian measures taken by the then Congress government.
The Emergency was imposed by then prime minister Smt Indira Gandhi for a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977
Smt Gandhi lifted Emergency in 1977 and called for Lok Sabha elections in which the Congress was handed a crushing defeat, its first ever since the country’s Independence in 1947, by the combined opposition of Janata Party.

Samajwadi Party chief And Ex CM Akhlilesh Yadav on Thursday accused ruling BJP of ruining the economy and said its short-sighted policies were responsible for the rising unemployment.
Hitting out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said despite holding investors’ summit, nothing has happened on the ground.
He said sub-inspectors were recruited in 2012 and they were given training after selections, but they could not get their positing and salaries yet.
Akhilesh said the BJP government held investors’ summit and made tall claims about investments, signing of MOUs as well as jobs, and big advertisements were put out about it but there is nothing on the ground.
He said during his party’s regime, an IT hub was made, Amul plant was established and Samsung started functioning in the state.
He said according to a Niti Aayog report, the performance of UP has come down.

ओ मेरे भोले सेठ जी!पुलिस अगर नही सुधरी तो ये कानून तोड़ने वाले पुलिस की वर्दी पर आईं सभी सिलवटें सीधी कर देंगे।यकीन ना हो तो मेरठ के बेगमपुल पर बने डिवाइडर पर घटी शर्मनाक घटना से ही सबक ले लो।
डिवाइडर के एक तरफ पुलिस चौकी है।यहां आए दिन पुलिस और प्रशासन के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों का मीडिया फोटो सेशन चलता रहता है।आपके आई जी भी मेरठ में ही थे।ऐसे में डिवाइडर पर लम्बे समय से गैरकानूनी ढंग से रहने वाले अज्ञात लोगों ने शराब पी कर पुलिस पर ही हमला बोल दिया।अब आप ही बताओ कि पुलिस चौकी के सामने अज्ञात लोगों का गैरकानूनी डेरा ,डेरे में शराब ,और शराब के नशे में पुलिस पर हमला ।अब कौन पुलिस को सुधरेगा???

As par State Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla, Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will declare the results as per the pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
3,08,000 students enrolled in Class 12 in government, aided and private schools under the PSEB in the 2020-21 academic session.
PSEB will be drafting the result based on an average 30 per cent theory component of best three performing subjects out of the main five subjects in Class 10 and 30 per cent weightage on the basis of marks obtained by the students in pre-board, practical examination in Class 11 and 40 per cent weightage on the basis marks obtained in pre-board examination, practical examination and internal assessment in Class 12.
