Local Akali leader Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon alleged that Gurdeep is a Congress worker. Gurdeep is an advocate by profession.
Case has been registered against Gurdeep Singh, Joginder Singh and three others under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC and the Arms Act.
But No arrest has yet been made

The Haryana BJP on Sunday suspended Chander Prakash Kathuria from the primary membership of the party for six years.
Kathuria, a special invitee of the party’s state executive committee, was suspended by state BJP chief Subhash Barala. However, the reason behind his suspension was not mentioned.
A letter issued at the state BJP headquarters in Rohtak said that Kathuria has been suspended for six years from the primary membership of the party.

Middleman Christian Michel is Lodged at the Tihar central jail in connection with the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper scam case.
Special Judge Pulastya Pramachala on Saturday allowed the ED to interrogate Michel on May 25 and 26 in the jail premises.
Michel, extradited from Dubai, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on December 22, 2018.
On January 5, 2019 Michel was sent to judicial custody in the ED case. He is also lodged in judicial custody in the CBI case related to the scam.
He was arrested in the UAE and extradited to India The next day, he was produced before the court which allowed his custodial interrogation by the CBI.
Later, he was arrested by the ED.
Michel is among the three alleged middlemen being probed in the case by the ED and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The others are Guido Haschke and Carlo Gerosa.
The CBI has alleged that there was an estimated loss of Euro 398.21 million (about Rs 2,666 crore) to the exchequer in the deal that was signed on February 8, 2010 for the supply of VVIP choppers worth Euro 556.262 million.
The ED, in its charge sheet filed against Michel in June 2016, had alleged that he received EUR 30 million (about Rs 225 crore) from AgustaWestland.

भारतीय रेलवे ने 19 दिन में “श्रमिक स्पेशल” ट्रेनों के जरिये कुल 21 लाख से अधिक यात्रियों को उनके गृह राज्यों तक पहुंचाकर एक और उपलब्धि हासिल की
भारतीय रेलवे ने 19 मई, 2020 तक (1600 बजे तक) देश भर में 1595 “श्रमिक स्पेशल” ट्रेनें चलाई यात्रियों को मुफ्त भोजन और पानी दिया जा रहा है
विभिन्न स्थानों पर फंसे प्रवासी श्रमिकों, तीर्थयात्रियों, पर्यटकों, छात्रों और अन्य व्यक्तियों की स्‍पेशल ट्रेनों से आवाजाही के संबंध में गृह मंत्रालय के आदेश के बाद, भारतीय रेलवे ने “श्रमिक स्पेशल” ट्रेनें चलाने का फैसला किया।
19 मई 2020 तक (1600 बजे तक), देश भर के विभिन्न राज्यों से कुल 1595 “श्रमिक स्पेशल” ट्रेनों को चलाया गया है। अब तक 21 लाख से अधिक यात्री अपने गृह राज्य पहुंच चुके हैं।
इन 1595 ट्रेनों को आंध्र प्रदेश, बिहार, संघ शासित चंडीगढ़, दिल्ली, गोवा, गुजरात, हरियाणा, झारखंड, कर्नाटक, केरल, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, संघ शासित पुडुचेरी, पंजाब, राजस्थान, ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, त्रिपुरा, उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, पश्चिम बंगाल जैसे विभिन्न राज्यों से चलाया गया।
इन श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेनों ने विभिन्न राज्यों जैसे उत्‍तर प्रदेश, बिहार, राजस्थान, पश्चिम बंगाल, छत्तीसगढ़, झारखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू और कश्मीर, मणिपुर, मिजोरम, ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु, तेलंगाना, त्रिपुरा, उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, जम्मू और कश्मीर में अपनी यात्रा समाप्त की।
ट्रेन में चढ़ने से पहले यात्रियों की अच्‍छी तरह से स्‍क्रीनिंग की जाती है। यात्रा के दौरान यात्रियों को मुफ्त भोजन और पानी दिया जाता है।

ग्रामीण छेत्रों में लाखों की संख्या में श्रमिक लौट रहे हैं जिसके फलस्वरूप वहां मुख्यत बेरोजगारी की समस्या विकरालता ग्रहण करेगी इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार ने मनरेगा के अंतर्गत ₹ 40000 करोड़ अतिरिक्त का प्रावधान किया है । ₹ एक लाख करोड़ से अधिक का बजट है । यहां रोजगार, स्वास्थ्य,भोजन,मनोरंजन आदि की सुविधाओं को यथाशीघ्र विकसित करना जरूरी है । गावों के विकास से जहां मजदूरों का शहरों की तरफ पलायन रुकेगा वहीं शहरीकरण की रफ्तार कम होगी

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Saturday directed police to crack down on liquor smuggling in a bid to prevent revenue loss to the cash-strapped state.
The chief minister also ordered immediate action against the DSPs and SHOs under whose jurisdictions liquor smuggling or illegal distillation takes place, said a government release.
Director General of Police Dinkar Gupta issued necessary directives to all commissioners of police and district police chiefs in the state to identify liquor smugglers by May 23.
On May 14, police along with officials of the excise department had raided an illegal distillery-cum-liquor bottling plant at Ghanaur in Patiala.

64 Foreigner Tabligis Arrested For Violation of Foreigners Act
64 members of Tablighi Jamaat, have been arrested by police in Bhopal for participating in various religious programmes of the organisation in violation of Foreigners Act and under the Indian Penal Code
Earlier, seven cases were registered against them under visa norms at various police stations in Bhopal.
Tablighi Jamaat had hit headlines earlier over a religious congregation held at Nizamuddin in Delhi in March this year amidst coronavirus pandemic. Many COVID-19 cases were reported when some Tablighis travelled back to their respective home states.
They hailed from countries like Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, Tanzania, South Africa, Myanmar and others.
