Capt Govt Promotes 3 ADGs to DGP Rank in Punjab

(Chd,Pb) The Punjab Government on Friday promoted three Additional Director Generals of Police (ADGPs) to the rank of DGP.
ADGPs B K Uppal,
Sanjeev Kalra and
Parag Jain have been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP) from January 1
Parag Jain, who is presently on central deputation with cabinet secretariat, New Delhi, would be entitled only to the notional benefits and the actual benefits would be admissible as and when he would join his duty in the state government
Sanjeev Kalra is ADGP railways at Patiala and
B K Uppal is the chief director of the state vigilance bureau.

राजस्थान में छह आईएएस अधिकारियों के तबादले

(जयपुर, राजस्थान) छह आईएएस अधिकारियों के तबादले
सरकार ने भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा (आईएएस) के छह अधिकारियों के तबादले किए हैं, जिसके तहत डॉ. समित शर्मा को जयपुर का संभागीय आयुक्त नियुक्त किया गया है।
डॉ. समित की जगह डॉ राजेश शर्मा को जोधपुर का संभागीय आयुक्त बनाया गया है।
नन्नूमल पहाड़िया को अलवर और राजेंद्र किशन को सवाई माधोपुर का जिलाधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है।
एक अन्य आदेश के तहत, आईपीएस डॉ. रवि प्रकाश मेहरड़ा अब अतिरिक्त पुलिस महानिदेशक (अपराध) होंगे। उनके पास अतिरिक्त महानिदेशक (नागरिक अधिकार) पद का अतिरिक्त पदभार भी रहेगा।

उदय महूरकर को पद की शपथ दिलाई। इस शपथ ग्रहण समारोह का आयोजन केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग में किया गया। इनकी शपथ ग्रहण के बाद अब केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग में मुख्य सूचना आयुक्त सहित सूचना आयुक्तों की कुल संख्या 8 हो गई है।
श्री सामरिया पूर्व प्रशासनिक अधिकारी हैं और सेवानिवृत्त होने से पहले वे भारत सरकार के श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय में सचिव के पद पर नियुक्त थे। उनके पास सिविल इंजीनियरिंग में स्नातक की डिग्री है। इसके अलावा प्रशासन और शासन के क्षेत्र में उनकी विशेषज्ञता है।
सुश्री पुन्हानी केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग में सूचना आयुक्त नियुक्त होने से पहले आईएएएस अधिकारी थीं। वे भारत सरकार में उप-नियंत्रक और महालेखा परीक्षक (एचआर एवं प्रशिक्षण) का पद संभाल रही थीं। उनके पास मानविकी में स्नातक की डिग्री है। इसके अलावा उन्हें प्रशासन और शासन में विशेषज्ञता हासिल है।
श्री महूरकर एक अनुभवी पत्रकार हैं। केंद्रीय सूचना आयोग में सूचना आयुक्त की पद पर नियुक्ति से पहले वे एक अग्रणी मीडिया संस्थान में वरिष्ठ उप संपादक के पद पर कार्यरत थे। उन्होंने महाराजा सयाजीराव विश्वविद्यालय से भारतीय इतिहास, संस्कृति और पुरातत्व में स्नातक किया है। मीडिया में काफी अनुभव उनकी विशेषज्ञता है।

The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday gave its nod to grant three months Extension/Re-employment to Doctors and Medical Specialists w.e.f. October 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, in view of the Covid crisis.
The decision comes amid continued escalation in Covid cases in Punjab, which currently accounts for more than 1.25 lakh of India’s nearly 72 lakh cases, with infections and deaths continuing to rise on a daily basis.
The Cabinet also approved amendments to the Punjab Health and Family Welfare Technical (Group-C) Service Rules, 2016, for reduction in the prescribed promotional quota, from 25% percent to 10% for the post of Staff Nurse, and in the sanctioned permanent 4216 posts of Staff Nurse to 3577. This will help provide employment opportunities to eligible candidates through direct recruitment against the vacant posts of Staff Nurse and 639 posts surrendered to the Department of Research and Medical Education.
The Cabinet also okayed amendments in these Rules for the post of Dialysis Technician of the Health and Family Welfare Department by including the technically qualified candidates who have passed B.Sc. (Dialysis Technician), in addition to the current educational qualification prescribed for direct recruitmen

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिन्दर सिंह ने शनिवार को बी.डी.पी.ओ. का मुख्यालय में तबादला भी कर दिया
मुख्यमंत्री कैप्टन अमरिन्दर सिंह के नेतृत्व वाली पंजाब सरकार कोविड महामारी के चलते किसी भी रोष प्रदर्शन करने की बजाय सभी राजसी पार्टियों को ऐसे सार्वजनिक जलसे करने से परहेज करने का अनुरोध कर रही है।
वास्तव में डी.पी.ओ. ने 21 सितम्बर को धरने का ऐलान कर दिया और अपने ब्लॉक अधीन समूह पंचायत सचिवों को पत्र जारी करके सभी सरपंचों को इन धरनों में शामिल होने के लिए कहा।
सरकार के अनुसार कभी भी कृषि ऑर्डीनैंसों के खिलाफ ऐसे धरनों की योजना नहीं बनायी गई और न ही बी.डी.पी.ओ. को पत्र जारी करने के लिए कहा गया

According to the order, Additional Inspector of Crime Branch Raghvendra Singh has been shifted to Masuri town. He replaced Umesh Panwar, who has been posted to the Crime Branch. Mohammad Aslam is the new SHO of Khoda. He has been sent from Kavi Nagar.
As per SSP, Additional Inspector of Crime Branch Nagendra Chaubey has taken the charge as SHO Kavi Nagar police station

Aveek Sarkar, the Editor Emeritus and Vice Chairman of the Ananda Bazar Group of Publications, has been elected Chairman of Press Trust of India, the country’s premier news agency.
Sarkar’s election was ratified by PTI’s Board of Directors at their meeting on Saturday. He succeeds Vijay Kumar Chopra, Chief Editor of the Punjab Kesari Group of newspapers.
Sarkar, 75, started training as a journalist while he was a student, just out of school. After graduating from the University of Calcutta, he went to Britain where he came under the tutelage of the legendary editor of The Sunday Times, Sir Harold Evans. He was schooled in journalism by such iconic figures as Edwin Taylor in design and Ian Jack in sub-editing.
Sarkar is a man of varied interests and counts books, food, wine and art among his principal loves. He is a fitness fanatic and spends almost two hours every day on yoga, weights and rowing. He was captain of the Royal Calcutta Golf Club (RCGC) for 10 years.
He was the founding Managing Director of Penguin India, the Indian counterpart of Penguin Books, the founding Editor of Business Standard and also the pivotal figure behind the acquisition of STAR News by the ABP Group in 2003.
