(DDN,May 26) Allopathic IMA Serves Defamation Notice on Coronal Baba Ramdev for alleged disparaging remarks against allopathy and allopathic doctors, demanding an apology from him within 15 days, failing which it said it will demand a compensation of Rs 1,000 crore from the yoga guru.
The six-page notice served on behalf of IMA (Uttarakhand) secretary Ajay Khanna by his lawyer Neeraj Pandey describes the remarks by Ramdev as damaging to the reputation and the image of allopathy and around 2,000 practitioners of it who are part of the association.
The notice has also asked Ramdev to make a video clip contradicting all his false and defamatory allegations, and circulate it on all the social media platforms where he had uploaded his earlier video clip levelling the allegations.
It has also asked the yoga guru to withdraw a “misleading” advertisement from all platforms endorsing “Coronil kit”, a product of his firm, as an effective medicine for COVID-19, failing which an FIR and a criminal case will be lodged against him by the IMA.

The Shiromani Akali Dal on Monday sought a probe into the use of a private ambulance by Punjab police for ferrying gangster-turned-politician Mukhtar Ansari from jail to a court last week.
This ambulance has now been found abandoned near Rupnagar ,

claimed all this has lent credence to the assertions of the Uttar Pradesh police that the Punjab government was in cahoots with Ansari and that there were orders from the very top to facilitate him in every manner possible. There cannot be any other answer as to why the Punjab Police allowed Ansari the use of a private ambulance which had been registered on the basis of fake documents. This could be part of a bigger conspiracy which needs to the unearthed by a free and fair probe by a central agency, Cheema said in a statement here.
The Supreme Court had recently directed the Punjab government to hand over the custody of Ansari to the Uttar Pradesh Police within two weeks after which a UP police team left for Punjab on Monday.

भापा जी! कांग्रेसी नेता को बसपाई ने मार डाला। पुलिसिये ने जज को हड़का डाला तो माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट को मध्यप्रदेश में जंगलराज दिखने लग गया।यहां 7 दशकों से पँजांब राज्य और केंद्र में अपने हक के कंपनसेशन/रिहैबिलिटेशन क्लेम के लिए भटक रहे हैं कहीं कोई सुनवाई नही हो रही।ऊपर वाले से दुआ है कि पँजांब या केंद्र का कोई मंत्री किसी जज को हड़का दे तो शायद सम्माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट को लोक तन्त्र की परिभाषा बदलने की जरूरत महसूस होने लगे

At the virtual meeting, Punjab Chief Secretary Vini Mahajan directed officials to clear the pendency of cases related to women and children from 2016 to 2020 through investigations on priority,
She also directed the officials to lay down Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to fast-track the investigation of sexual offences against women and children by specifying the roles and responsibilities of all departments with regard to such cases.
She directed the Home department to expedite the establishment of nine other fast-track courts, for which approval has been granted by the government, in addition to the three such courts already operational in Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
Seven fast-track courts dealing with rape cases are already functional in the state.

ओएझल्लेया!अब तो खुश हो जा।ओए सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने दोबारा सुना दिया है कि कभी भी और कहीं भी कैसे भी प्रदर्शन का अधिकार नही मिल सकता।ठीक है असहमति का हक सबको है लेकिन यारा ये तो आन्दोलनजीवी शाहीन बाग के बाद अब सिंधुऔर गाजीपुर बोर्डरों पर परजीवियों को जन्म देने में जुट गए हैं।टॉप कोर्ट के तमाचे से शायद आंदोलन के नाम पर सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर कब्जा करने और अराजकता फैलाने वालों को सद्बुद्धि मिलेगी
