[संभल,उप्र] ताजिया में जनरेटर से उतरे करंट से एक सोगवार की मौत
संभल जिले के बहजोई क्षेत्र के अकबर पुर गावं में मंगलवार तड़के एक गांव में निकल रहे ताज़िये में उतरे करंट की चपेट में आ जाने से सफलीन (40) नामक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गयी।
एक अन्य व्यक्ति घायल हो गया उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।जुलूस में रोशनी के लिये उसके पीछे जेनरेटर चलाया जा रहा था। उसके करंट की चपेट में आ जाने से यह दुखद हादसा हुआ

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad was stopped at the Jammu airport on Tuesday and sent back to Delhi,The second time in a month the former chief minister was not allowed to visit Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier on August 8, Azad was briefly detained and sent back from the Srinagar airport after the administration imposed restrictions following the Centre’s move to scrap the state’s special status and bifurcate it into Union territories.

The Uttar Pradesh Board of Madrasa Education has issued an advisory to all madrasas – Islamic academic institutions – in the state to celebrate Independence Day with traditional fervour and also pay tributes to martyrs and acquaint students with contribution of freedom fighters.
There are 16,461 madrasas in Uttar Pradesh.

बुधवार से एक पखवाडे़ तक चलने वाले इस श्रावणी कांवड़ मेला शुरू हो गया। इस दौरान शिवभक्त कांवड़िये हरिद्वार तथा आसपास के क्षेत्रों से पवित्र गंगा जल लेकर उसे अपने घर तथा गांवों के शिवालयों में अर्पित करेंगे।

केसरिया वस्त्र पहने और कंधों पर कांवड़ उठाए कावंड़िये हरिद्वार के मुख्य स्नान घाट हर की पौडी तथा अन्य घाटों पर समूहों और टोलियों में सुबह से ही पहुंचने लगे हैं। ये कांवडि़ये उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान, हरियाणा, जम्मू-कश्मीर, हिमाचल, पंजाब, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र तथा बिहार जैसे राज्यों से लंबी दूरी तय कर यहां पहुंच रहे हैं।

CM Of Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh was talking informally to reporters at Parliament House after a courtesy call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Captain Amarinder said he had called on the prime minister since he had not met him so far during the latter’s second term. However, he took the opportunity to discuss the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji. The prime minister confirmed his participation in the mega event and assured of all possible help to make the programme a grand success, befitting the historic occasion, said the Chief Minister.
The legacy issue of the Rs 31000 crore food debt also came up for discussion and the prime minister said that he was seized of the matter, said Captain Amarinder.

Pope Francis will declare Mariam Thresia Chiramel Mankidiyan, an Indian nun, a saint on October 13
The Pope has formally approved the canonisation of Mariam Thresia, foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family, at an ordinary public consistory of cardinals on causes of canonisation at the Vatican on July 1
He has decreed that the canonisation will take place in St Peters Square on October 13 this year
The nun from Kerala will be canonised during a Mass along with John Henry Newman from England, Italian Josephine Vannini, Swiss Marguerite Bays and Brazilian Irm Dulce Pontes
The nun belongs to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.
She was born in Puthenchira in Thrissur district on April 26, 1876 and died in Kuzhikkattussery on June 8, 1926.
The Vatican had earlier declared three Kerala-born Indian Catholics as Saints.
While Fr Kuriakose Elias Chavara and Sister Euphrasia were canonised into the league of saints by Pope Francis in 2014, sister Alphonsa was declared a saint in 2008

[नयी दिल्ली]पार्किंग का झगड़ा मंदिर पर फोड़ा : मध्य दिल्ली में तनाव : घटना रविवार को रात करीब 10 बजे हुई
मध्य दिल्ली के हौज काजी क्षेत्र में एक पार्किंग मुद्दे को लेकर दो समुदायों में झड़प के बाद तनाव उत्पन्न हो गया, उसके बाद एक मंदिर में तोड़फोड़ कर दी गई।
पुलिस उपायुक्त (मध्य) मंदीप सिंह रंधावा के ट्वीट के अनुसार “क्षेत्र में सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करने में मदद करने का आग्रह किया गया है “।
स्थानीय पुलिस के अनुसार एक वीडियो आनलाइन सामने आया जिसमें एक व्यक्ति की पार्किंग मुद्दे को लेकर कुछ लोगों द्वारा कथित रूप से पिटायी करते दिखाया गया है जिनके शराब के नशे में होने का संदेह है। झगड़ा तब और बढ़ गया जब दोनों समुदायों के सदस्य एकदूसरे से भिड़ गए।
झगड़े के बाद कुछ लोगों ने क्षेत्र में मंदिर में तोड़फोड़ कर दी जिससे साम्प्रदायिक तनाव उत्पन्न हो गया।।

[New Delhi]India Rejects US’s Religious Freedom Report Saying it Sees No Locus Standi for a Foreign Government to Pronounce on the State of its Citizens’ Constitutionally Protected Rights.
In its annual 2018 International Religious Freedom Report, the State Department alleged Friday that mob attacks by violent extremist Hindu groups against minority communities, particularly Muslims, continued in India in 2018, amid rumours that victims had traded or killed cows for beef.
Responding to media queries on the report, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said: “India is proud of its secular credentials, its status as the largest democracy and a pluralistic society with a longstanding commitment to tolerance and inclusion.”
The Indian Constitution guarantees fundamental rights to all its citizens, including its minority communities, he said.
“We see no locus standi for a foreign entity/government to pronounce on the state of our citizens’ constitutionally protected rights,” he said.
Releasing the report at the Foggy Bottom headquarters of the State Department, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo last week said the report was like a report card which tracks countries to see how well they have respected this fundamental human right

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi Friday performed Yoga with around 40,000 enthusiasts at the Prabhat Tara ground here and said everybody should practice the ancient Indian discipline lifelong.
Events to mark the day are being held across the country and several of them are being led by Union ministers, including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
Modi also said the government has been working to make Yoga a pillar of preventive healthcare.
Expressing concern that young people are becoming vulnerable to heart ailments, Modi said, “Yoga can play a huge role in tackling the issue and hence, this year’s theme is ‘Yoga for Heart’.”
He also appealed to the people to take yoga to all sections of society.
.Urging people to make yoga a part of daily life, Modi said, “Peace and harmony are related to Yoga. People across the world must practice it.”
Since 2015, the International Day of Yoga is celebrated annually on June 21.
