भारत सरकार ने अपनी रीढ़ को सीधी करते हुए आज अमेरिका को उसके ही स्टाईल में जवाब दिया और देश में अमेरिकी राजनयिकों और उनके परिजनों को दी जा रही सुविधाओं को वापिस लिया|यह अमेरिका में भारतीय डिप्टी कौंसल जनरल देवयानी खोब्रागडे के साथ किये गए दुर्व्यवहार के विरोध में किया गया है |जबकि अमेरिका ने भारतीय राजनयिक देवयानी खोबरागड़े की कपड़े उतार कर कथित तलाशी को यह कहते हुए उचित ठहराने का प्रयास किया कि देवयानी की गिरफ्तारी के दौरान मानक प्रतिक्रियाएं ही अपनाई गई हैं। भारत में इसकी जबरदस्त प्रतिक्रया हुई है |लोक सभा स्पीकर मीरा कुमार [पूर्व राजनयिक]+भाजपा के पी एम् के उम्मीदवार नरेंदर मोदी +कांग्रेस के उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी + गृह मंत्री सुशील कुमार शिंदे आदि ने अमेरिकी कांग्रेस के एक डेलिगेशन से विरोध स्वरुप मुलाक़ात करने से इंकार कर दिया| के परिचय पत्र वापिस मांग लिए|
गौरतलब है कि देवयानी पर अपनी निजी मैड[नौकरानी] संगीता रिचर्ड को घोषित वेतन का आधा वेतन देने का जुर्म लगाया गया है

[३] दूतावास में दी जा रही शराब की सप्लाई को रोक दिया गया है
[४] एअरपोर्ट विशेष पास भी ले लिए गए हैं
[५]कर्मचारी और उनके सहायकों के वेतन स्लिप की भी मांग कर दी गई है |

Marking the One-Year Anniversary of this Tragic Shooting in Newtown, Connecticut President Obama said “As parents, as Americans, the news filled us with grief. Newtown is a town like so many of our hometowns. The victims were educators and kids that could have been any of our own. And our hearts were broken for the families that lost a piece of their heart; for the communities changed forever; for the survivors, so young, whose innocence was torn away far too soon.
But beneath the sadness, we also felt a sense of resolve – that these tragedies must end, and that to end them, we must change.
From the very beginning, our efforts were led by the parents of Newtown – men and women, impossibly brave, who stepped forward in the hopes that they might spare others their heartbreak. And they were joined by millions of Americans – mothers and fathers; sisters and brothers – who refused to accept these acts of violence as somehow inevitable.”
Obama In Weekly address said “Over the past year, their voices have sustained us. And their example has inspired us – to be better parents and better neighbors; to give our children everything they need to face the world without fear; to meet our responsibilities not just to our own families, but to our communities. More than the tragedy itself, that’s how Newtown will be remembered.
And on this anniversary of a day we will never forget, that’s the example we should continue to follow. Because we haven’t yet done enough to make our communities and our country safer. We have to do more to keep dangerous people from getting their hands on a gun so easily. We have to do more to heal troubled minds. We have to do everything we can to protect our children from harm and make them feel loved, and valued, and cared for.
And as we do, we can’t lose sight of the fact that real change won’t come from Washington. It will come the way it’s always come – from you. From the American people.
As a nation, we can’t stop every act of violence. We can’t heal every troubled mind. Indian Sports Minister Jitendra Singh Is Now Happy Over His First Official Victory over I A O

Union Minister of Sports Jitendra Singh has expressed his satisfaction over his victory over I A O .Tainted Officials Would be Barred from contesting its elections.
The Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports (Independent Charge), Shri Jitendra Singh has expressed satisfaction over news reports regarding the decision of Indian Olympic Association (IOA) to amend its Constitution to bar charge-framed individuals from contesting its elections.
Sports minister had led a Government delegation to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Headquarters in Lausanne earlier this year in an effort to ensure that conditions are created for ending the suspension of IOA at the earliest. The issue of debarring charge framed officials from contesting elections or continuing in office was first raised then and the IOC was apprised of the support of the Government of India for such a measure.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has consistently supported the demand of the IOC that charge-framed persons be kept out of IOA. It has been urging IOA members during consultations from time to time to heed the advice of IOC and change its constitution in the interest of Indian sports and Indian sportspersons.
Shri Singh expressed happiness that all these efforts have culminated in decision of IOA to bar charge-framed persons and hold fresh elections of IOA in February next year. The Minister however, stated that the amendments to the IOA constitution would have to be studied and accepted by IOC before it withdraws the suspension of IOA.
Minister stated that both he and the Government of India would make all possible efforts to ensure that the Indian sportsperson were not denied their right to compete in international competitions under the Indian Flag.
The Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to ensure good governance, ethics and transparency in Indian sports. Shri Jitendra Singh further reiterated the resolve of the Government to usher in reforms in the management of sports in India and said that the Government would soon bring a revised Sports bill before Parliament for this purpose.

India is Observing Five Day State Mourning as a Mark of Respect to Dr. Nelson R Mandela
The Government of India has decided that five-day state mourning will be observed from 6th December to 10th December, 2013 as a mark of respect to Dr. Nelson R Mandela, former President of South Africa and a Bharat Ratna Awardee, who passed away on 05th December, 2013 (Thursday).
During the state mourning, the national flag will be flown at half mast from 6th to 10th December, 2013 through out the country and there will be no official entertainment.

American President Barack Obama Paid Homage to Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela By saying “a man who took history in his hands, and bent the arc of the moral universe toward justice.”
Mandela led South Africa out of apartheid and became the nation’s first black president, has died following a long illness on 5 December 2013,at the age of 95, at his home in Johannesburg.
Mandela gained international acclaim more then 250 honours, for his activism, including the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize+ the US Presidential Medal of Freedom+ the Soviet Order of Lenin + Bharat Ratna.
He earned a deep respect within South Africa, where he is often referred to by his XHOSA clan name,MADIBA ; He is often called as “Tata “”the father of the nation”.
President Obama delivered a statement on the passing of former South African President and anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, calling him “a man who took history in his hands, and bent the arc of the moral universe toward justice.”
“We will not likely see the likes of Nelson Mandela again,” the President said. “So it falls to us as best we can to forward the example that he set: to make decisions guided not by hate, but by love; to never discount the difference that one person can make; to strive for a future that is worthy of his sacrifice.”

आतंकवाद से जूझ रहे भारत और अमेरिका के पोलिस प्रमुखों ने सुरक्षा संबंधी खुफिया जानकारी के बेहतर तालमेल की संभावनाओ को तलाशने की शुरुआत की आतंकवाद और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अपराध के खतरे का सामना करने में अग्रणीय भारत और अमेरिका की पोलिस प्रमुखों ने सुरक्षा संबंधी खुफिया जानकारी के बेहतर तालमेल की संभावनाओ को तलाशने के लिए दो दिवसीय सम्मलेन का शुभारम्भ किया | केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री सुशील कुमार शिंदे ने इस सम्मेलन का शुभारंभ किया|
इस महत्व पूर्ण सम्मलेन का आयोजन भारत के गृह मंत्रालय ने किया है । इस अवसर परकेंद्रीय गृह मंत्री सुशील कुमार शिंदे ने कहा कि दोनों देशों को सुरक्षित बनाने के उद्देश्य के साथ यह सम्मेलन अमरीका के साथ हमारे द्विपक्षीय सहयोग के विस्तार में महत्वपूर्ण तत्व है। रणनीतिक भागीदारों के रूप में हम एक दूसरे की आतंरिक सुरक्षा मजबूत करने के लिए अधिक कार्य कर सकते हैं।
श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि भारत और अमरीका जैसे देश आतंकवाद और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अपराध के खतरे का सामना करने के प्रयासों में सबसे आगे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि दुर्भाग्य से हम ऐसे आतंकी समूहों और आपराधिक सिंडिकेट का प्रमुख लक्ष्य हैं।
गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि इसी खतरे के मद्देनजर दोनों देशों को भारत अमरीका गृह सुरक्षा संवाद शुरू करने की प्ररेणा मिली। यह हमारे बढ़ते आपसी सुरक्षा सहयोग का मुख्य तत्व है। यह संवाद नवंबर 2010 में अमरीकी राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा की भारत यात्रा के फलस्वरूप शुरू हुआ।
श्री शिंदे ने कहा कि हमारे गृह सुरक्षा संवाद का मुख्य क्षेत्र अपने शहरों को सुरक्षित बनाना है। उन्होंने कहा कि बड़े आतंकी हमले जानबूझकर खासतौर से बड़े और घनी आबादी वाले शहरी क्षेत्रो में किए जाते हैं ताकि अधिक से अधिक नुकसान हो। अमरीका न्यूयार्क में और भारत मुंबई आतंकी हमले का शिकार बना।
गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि सुरक्षा संबंधी खुफिया जानकारी के बेहतर तालमेल की ज़रूरत है ताकि क्षेत्रीय एवं संघीय एजेंसी एक दूसरे के साथ मिलकर काम कर सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत अपराध की रोकथाम, अपराध का पता लगाने, फोरेंसिक विश्लेषण, बेहतर संचार प्रौद्योगिकियांे एवं यातायात प्रबंधन साधनों के लिए अत्याधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकियों का इस्तेमाल करने में अमरीका के भागीदार के रूप में काम करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
इस अवसर पर गृह राज्य मंत्री श्री मुल्लापल्ली रामचंद्रन, भारत में अमरीका की राजदूत सुश्री नैंसी पावेल, अमरीकी गृह मंत्रालय में सहायक मंत्री श्री डेविड हेमैन, गृह सचिव श्री अनिल गोस्वामी, सीमा प्रबंधन की सचिव सुश्री स्नेह लता कुमार, अतिरिक्त सचिव श्री खुर्शीद अहमद गनई, राज्यों के डीजीपी, केंद्रीय पुलिस संगठनों के प्रमुख और अन्य प्रतिनिधि मौजूद थे।
इस सम्मलेन में अमेरिका के प्रतिनिधि मंडल में मुख्‍य शहरों के पुलिस प्रमुख तथा उनके प्रौद्योगिकी सहभागी शामिल हो रहे हैं भारतीय शिष्‍ट मंडल के प्रतिनिधियों में भारतीय राज्‍य पुलिस बल, अर्धसैनिक बल, प्रौद्योगि‍की सहभागी तथा कानून लागू करने वाली अन्‍य एजेंसियां शामिल रहेंगी|
सम्‍मेलन का लक्ष्‍य दोनों देशों के प्रौद्योगिकी सहभागियों का मार्ग प्रशस्‍त करना रहेगा जिससे अपराधों में प्रत्‍यक्ष कमी लाए जाने के लिए सतत प्रौद्योगिकी में सुधार तथा नागरिकों को अधिक सुरक्षित व जीने योग्‍य वातावरण उपलब्‍ध कराने के लिए निरंतर कार्यरत रहकर एक संस्‍थागत तंत्र विकसित किया जा सके। अपराध की जांच से संबद्ध सत्‍यता का निर्धारण करने के लिए साइबर सुरक्षा तथा फोरेंसिक विज्ञान का प्रयोग सम्‍मेलन के मुख्‍य बिन्‍दु रहेंगे।
दो दिन के सम्‍मेलन के दौरान समूह में हुई आकस्मिक घटनायें, सामुद्रिक सुरक्षा तथा कानून लागू किया जाना (यात्री तथा माल सुरक्षा), शहरी पुलिसीकरण में निगरानी तथा कमांड नियंत्रण, सामूहिक पारवहन प्रणाली में सुरक्षा तथा कानून लागू किया जाना, कानूनी रोक (ख़ुफिया) तथा जांच, अपराध संबंधी जांच और बहु अधिकार-क्षेत्र वाले जटिल वातावरण में फोरेंसिक तथा सामुदायिक नियंत्रण के प्रत्‍युत्‍तर में दोनों पक्ष अपना-अपना प्रस्तुतीकरण देंगे।
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री के नेतृत्‍व में गृह मंत्रालय का एक प्रतिनिधि मंडल आंतरिक सुरक्षा के विभिन्‍न पहलुओं पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए मई, 2013 को अमेरिका गया था। विचार-विमर्श, दोनों देशों की कानून लागू करने वाली एजेंसियों के बीच परिचालन संबंधी समन्‍वय पर केंद्रित रहा। भारतीय पक्ष ने नई दिल्‍ली में पुलिस प्रमुखों का सम्‍मेलन आयोजित किए जाने का प्रस्‍ताव दिया जिसमें बड़े शहरों में पुलिसीकरण, महत्‍वपूर्ण आधारभूत ढांचा सुरक्षा, साइबर सुरक्षा तथा आंतरिक सुरक्षा संबंधित अन्‍य मामलों के संदर्भ में सफलता, सर्वोत्‍तम कार्यप्रणाली तथा उनके द्वारा हासिल हुई जानकारियों का आदान-प्रदान किया जा सके।
