Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh reviewed the situations arising due to cyclone Phailin and directed that all possible assistance should be extended to the State Governments concerned in ensuring the safety and security of the people
Immediately on return from his tour Indonesia., the P M reviewed the situation arising out of the cyclone Phailin. He was briefed by the Cabinet Secretary on the arrangements that have been put in place to deal with the impact of the cyclone. The Prime Minister directed that all possible assistance should be extended to the State Governments concerned in ensuring the safety and security of the people and in relief and rescue operations.Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today directed that all possible assistance be extended to the states which are on alert for cyclone ‘Phailin’ after reviewing the situation soon after his return from an overseas tour.All three wings of Defence Forces are Put On Ready.To Aid the civil powers
