अजय देवगन ने अपनी फिल्म सन आफ सरदार में आपत्ति जनक द्रश्यों को हटाने का आश्वासन एस जी पी सी को दे दिया है| फिल्म ‘सन ऑफ सरदार’ में सिखों पर की गई आपत्तिजनक टिप्पणी के विवाद को सुलझाने के लिए अभिनेता अजय देवगन सोमवार को शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी [एसजीपीसी] के समक्ष पेश हुए। अभिनेता ने एसजीपीसी, सिख स्टूडेंट फेडेरेशन व पंजाब के मंत्री विक्रम सिंह मजीठिया को फिल्म का प्रोमो दिखाया और आपत्तिजनक दृश्यों को हटाए जाने का आश्वासन दिया।गौरतलब है कि इस फिल्म में एक सिख के सीने पर भगवान शिव के टेटू और सिखों पर एक चुटकले पर विवाद उठाया गया था |
पत्रकारों से बातचीत में अजय देवगन ने अपने पंजाबी खून और प्रेम का प्रदर्शन करते हुए कहा कि मेरे पूर्वज अटारी के रहने वाले, माझे की धरती की खुशबू मेरे मन मस्तिष्क में है। मेरे रोम-रोम में पंजाबियत है फिर मैं पंजाबियों की संवेदनाओं से कैसे खिलवाड़ कर सकता हूं।। देवगन ने कहा कि फिल्म में उनके सिर पर बंधी पगड़ी सिख मर्यादाओं व सिद्धांतों पर कहीं चोट न करती हो, इसके लिए अमृतसर से पगड़ी बांधने वाले एक विशेषज्ञ को बीस बार विशेष विमान से शूटिंग के दौरान मुंबई बुलाया गया था| अजय ने कहा कि फिल्म से आपत्तिजनक चुटकुले को हटाया जाएगा। हीरो की छाती पर गुदे भगवान शिव के टैटू को हटाकर वहां खंडे साहब [सिख योद्धाओं का एक हथियार] का टैटू लगाया जाएगा। उन्होंने एसजीपीसी की जांच कमेटी को आश्वासन दिया कि फिल्म को रिलीज करने से पहले एक प्रिंट उन्हें भेजा जाएगा। उनकी मंजूरी के बाद ही फिल्म रिलीज की जाएगी। अजय इस फिल्म के अभिनेता के साथ ही निर्माता भी हैं।
फिल्म पर आपत्ति उठाने वाले सिख स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन के अध्यक्ष [पीर मुहम्मद] करनैल सिंह पीर मुहम्मद ने कहा कि वह अजय देवगन के आश्वासन से संतुष्ट हैं। मामला अकाल तख्त साहिब में है, इसलिए वह अपनी रिपोर्ट जत्थेदार ज्ञानी गुरबचन सिंह को सौंप देंगे। अंतिम फैसला वही करेंगे।
३-०९-२०१२ अपनी नई फिल्म सन आफ सरदार पर घिर आये विवादों के बादलों को छांटने के लिए अब अजय देवगन शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी की शरण में जायेंगे|
आल इंडिया सिख स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन द्वारा इस फिल्म के खिलाफ आवाज उठाये जाने के बाद फिल्म ‘सन आफ सरदार’ का मामला गंभीर हो गया है।
फिल्म में सिख कौम के प्रति कुछ भी गलत नहीं है इसलिए अपना स्पष्टीकरण देने के लिए फिल्म एक्टर व फिल्म के डायरेक्टर अजय देवगन सोमवार को अमृतसर पहुंच रहे है। अजय देवगन फिल्म ‘सन आफ सरदार’ को रिलीज करवाने से पहले एसजीपीसी के अधिकारियों को बंद कमरे में फिल्म दिखाएंगे। अजय देवगन के साथ उनके दोस्त व फिल्म एक्टर संजय दत्त भी अमृतसर पहुंच रहे हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि इस फिल्म के खिलाफ सिख छात्र संघ के अध्यक्ष करनैल सिंह पीर मोहम्मद ने श्री अकाल तख्त साहिब के जत्थेदार को एक पत्र 27 अगस्त को लिख कर फिल्म पर रोक लगाने की मांग की थी। क्योंकि यू ट्यूब पर इस फिल्म के दिखाए गए कुछ अंशों को सिख कौम विरोधी बताया गया था और इन दृश्यों को सिख कौम के खिलाफ बताया जा रहा था।
इस संबंध में पंजाब व हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट के वकील नवकिरण सिंह ने एक कानूनी नोटिस भी फिल्म के निर्माताओं को भेज कर कहा था कि फिल्म में सभी विवादस्पद दृश्यों का हटाया जाए।
इसी संबंध में अपना स्पष्टीकरण देने व फिल्म को एसजीपीसी सदस्यों को दिखा कर क्लीन चिट लेने के लिए अजय देवगन अमृतसर पहुंच रहे है
गौरतलब है की अजय देवगन और संजय दत्त दोनों पंजाबी ‘ बेक ग्राउंड स हैं और इन्होने कहा भी है की उनके परिवार में सिख धर्म के लिए विशेष आदर रहा है|
