[Chandigarh,Punjab]Former Akali Leader Tohra’s family members join AAP
Family members of former SAD leader late Gurcharan Singh Tohra joined the AAP party today.
Tohra’s son-in-law Harmel Singh, his wife Kuleep Kaur and their son Harinderpal Singh along with several of their supporters, joined AAP “unconditionally” in the presence of Punjab’s party affairs in-charge Sanjay Singh and senior leaders Bhagwant Mann and Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi.
Harmel who served SAD for 25 years and also remained a former minister.says he is inspired by the policies and programmes of AAP,
He rejected suggestions that he was an aspirant for the AAP ticket.
Tohra was president of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC), considered to be mini-parliament of Sikhs, for over two decades
