[Shimla] Himachal Pradesh Police in Association with PWD today Launched ‘Road Accident Data Management System’.With a view to ensure road safety and reduce the number of accidents,
“The system would go a long way in reducing the number of accidents as well as the casualties,” IG (headquarter) Zahur Ali Haider Zaidi said.
The basic idea behind this system is to collect accurate data and analysis to understand the problem and rectification,” he said.
RADMS, part of World Bank’s funded road project, has been implemented in Shimla and Mandi district on pilot basis.
A workshop was organised under the chairmanship of Transport Minister G.S. Bali on the occasion in which several state government officials spoke about road safety.
