The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following:
[1]Appointment of Shri Yudhvir Singh Malik, IAS (HY:1983), Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog vice newly created post by cancelling the appointment of Ms. Keshni Anand Arora, IAS (HY:1983);
[2]Appointment of Ms. Kavita Gupta, IAS (MH:1985), Additional DGFT (Additional Secretary level), Mumbai under Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry as Textile Commissioner (Additional Secretary level) under Ministry of Textiles by upgrading the post to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of two years or till further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Kiran Soni Gupta, IAS (RJ:1985) on her appointment as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports; and
[3]Appointment of Ms. Kiran Soni Gupta, IAS (RJ:1985), Textile Commissioner (Additional Secretary level) under Ministry of Textiles as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports by upgrading the post to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of two years or till further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Sujata Prasad, ICAS (1983), Joint Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Coal who is holding additional charge.
