लो जी हो गए ११ महीने में ४८ के ६० जी हाँ उत्तर प्रदेश की सरकार के मुखिया की साइकिल पर अब ५९ सवार हो गए हैं| प्रदेश में मंत्रियों की संख्या में भी बढोत्तरी हो गई है पिछले साल मार्च में अखिलेश सरकार बनने के बाद कैबिनेट का यह पहला विस्तार है। अखिलेश ने 15 मार्च को शपथ ली थी। तब अखिलेश को मिलाकर कुल 48 सदस्यीय मंत्रिपरिषद ने शपथ ली थीऔर अब १२ नए मंत्री बना कर मंत्री मंडल का बड़ा ६० का हो गया है|
यूपी में एक साल से भी कम पुरानी अखिलेश यादव सरकार में ७ फरवरी गुरुवार को 12 नए मंत्री शामिल किए गए। मंत्रिपरिषद में कैबिनेट स्तर के एक मंत्री समेत राज्य स्तर के 11 मंत्रियों को शामिल किया गया है।उत्तर प्रदेश में लगभग 11 महीने पुरानी अखिलेश यादव के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार ने आज अपने मंत्रिमण्डल का विस्तार करते हुए 12 नए मंत्री शामिल किए। तमाम आलोचनाओं के बावजूद अखिलेश ने बाहुबलियों को भी कैबिनेट में जगह दी है। कैबिनेट में शामिल किए गए विनोद सिंह पर गोंडा के सीएमओ के साथ मारपीट और अपहरण का आरोप है। जबकि पवन सिंह भी बाहुबली माने जाते हैं।
नए मंत्रियों में एक कैबिनेट स्तर का मंत्री, एक राज्यमंत्री और दस राज्यमंत्री शामिल हैं। राज्य मंत्रिमण्डल मे अब कुल मंत्रियों की संख्या 60 हो गई है। शपथ लेने वाले बारह मंत्रियों में पार्टी के प्रवक्ता और विधान परिषद सदस्य राजेन्द्र चौधरी को कैबिनेट मंत्री बनाया गया है। विजय मिश्रा स्वतंत्र प्रभार वाले राज्य मंत्री बने हैं। विजय बहादुर पाल, रामशकल गुजर, विनोद सिंह, गायत्री प्रजापति, योगेश प्रताप सिंह, राम मूर्ति वर्मा, पवन पाण्डेय, नितिन अग्रवाल और मनोज पाण्डेय राज्यमंत्री बनाये गए हैं।
15 मार्च के बाद यह मंत्रिमंडल का पहला विस्तार है। विस्तार के बाद अब कैबिनेट मंत्रियों की संख्या 21 स्वतंत्र प्रभार वाले राज्य मंत्री पांच और 34 राज्य मंत्री हो गए हैं। मंत्रिमंडल विस्तार में सोशल इंजीनियरिंग का भी ध्यान रखा गया है। शपथ लेने वालों में पांच अन्य पिछड़े वर्ग के हैं, जबकि तीन ब्राह्मण, दो राजपूत, एक जाट और एक वैश्य को जगह दी गई है। राज्यपाल बी एल जोशी ने राजभवन मे एक समारोह मे नए मंत्रियों को पद और गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई।
