Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj Greeted with a Traditional Maori Welcome In New Zealand

Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj greeted with a traditional Maori welcome In New Zealand.
After four stops in Australia within a two week period, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj traveled on to New Zealand. He was greeted with a traditional MAORI welcome, or a POWHIRI as it is called locally.
The first Auckland program of meditation seminar was organised in the ballroom of the Langham hotel.
The spiritual Master began by saying we are not the body but are at our core, soul – a part of God. As the power behind the body that gives it life, the soul can travel through various regions; it is not limited to the physical region. He said the physical, mental and emotional benefits of meditation are manifold and well understood today, but it is important we realize that the true purpose of meditation is to uplift the soul and enable it to take flight.
Head Saint Of Sawan Kripal Ruhani Misssion And Science Of Spirituality said ” way we may experience our true selves and experience God. Once we experience the light of God for ourselves, he emphasized, we will begin to recognize the oneness of all of God’s creation. This will inevitably lead to a transformation from within. He then conveyed the meditation instructions, after which everyone had a chance to meditate.”
Later that evening, in his talk “Peace through Spiritual Growth,” he spoke of the elusive nature of peace in our strife-filled world as something we all want and seek. But yet we cannot find it amidst the stresses and strains of life. It is not to be found in the outer world, he said. It can only be found within ourselves. If we are to be truly peaceful, we must rise above the state of expecting things to be as we want them to be.
On Friday evening, April 18, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj gave his second public talk in Auckland: “Experience the Inner Treasures.” He spoke of the transitory nature of life and said the physical body in which the soul resides will one day dissolve like a house of sand. All the joys of this world fade away like the morning dew. Only those who come under the protection of the Lord can make their way back Home to the lap of the Lord and find everlasting joy.
He again emphasized that there is more to this existence than the physical world we live in. We must learn to go beyond the five senses, so we may experience the divine treasures that lie in the realms beyond, realms more conscious and ethereal than this one.
He said we are not alone – God is always with us. If we are to experience God’s love, we have but to take our attention away from the world outside and focus it within.
