AAP’s Govt Completes Ist Year In Delhi But Advertise in Mumbai,Draws Flak

[Mumbai]”AAP” Completes One Year In Delhi Govt But Advertise in Mumbai So Draws Opposition Flak
The Aam Aadmi Party’s advertisements in newspapers highlighting “achievements” of its one-year rule in New Delhi today drew flak from opposition parties which questioned the Kejriwal government’s austerity promises.
BJPspokesperson Madhav Bhandari said.
“Arvind Kejriwal is a hypocrite. It has been proved once again today. Earlier, he advocated austerity by public representatives, but today, he is following the same path as everybody else. He has surpassed others with this (the advertisement),”
He sought the Delhi Chief Minister’s explanation for the “personal advertisements funded by the state exchequer”.
Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) president Sanjay Nirupam said the AAP was still working like a “political movement” and not as a “governance party”.
Nirupam said.”The Kejriwal-led party has miserably failed on all the fronts. It has failed not only in curbing corruption, but also in controlling its own MLAs. Seven MLAs have so far landed in jail,”
NCP Mumbai president Sachin Ahir dubbed the advertisement as a cover-up tool as he flayed the party for spending taxpayers’ money.

Cong Registers Resentments Over Delhi MLA’s Massive Salaries Hike

[New Delhi]Cong Registers Resentments Over Delhi MLA’s Salary Hike. AAP Govt Has Approved 400% Hike In Pay And Allowances Of 70 MLAs Of Delhi.Congress Has Not Even a Single Member In The Present Assembly
A delegation of Delhi Congress today met Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and discussed with him passage of the AAP government’s Bill passed in Assembly clearing the way for “massive” hike in salaries and allowances of legislators and ministers.
Emerging after the meeting, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken alleged that the AAP government committed an “illegality” in passing the Bill without a consent of the President of India.
The delegation sought to know from the Lt Governor whether prior approval of the President of India was taken for the introduction of the Bill in the Assembly by the AAP Government,
As per Maken “Jung informed the delegation that only permission was sought by the AAP Government to seek the approval of the President on the Bill, and not the introduction of the Bill in the Assembly,”
Cong Leader alleged That The “massive” hike in the salaries of the MLAs proves that the AAP does not stand to protect the interest of the Aam Aadmi – which it is supposed to represent-but is only keen to enjoy the fruits of power by casting away its ‘aam aadmi’ garb, and “fostering” a “VVIP culture”,.
Chattar Singh and Satbir Singh were other members of the delegation.
The Members of the Legislative Assembly of the Government of NCT of Delhi (Salaries, Allowances, Pension) Amendment Bill,2015, was yesterday passed in the Delhi Assembly dominated by AAP legislators while two BJP MLAs boycotted voting on it.
