(3) Appointment of Ms. Sushma Suri, Additional Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs for a period of one year on contract basis after her superannuation on 31.3.2015.

वरिष्ठ आई ए एस अधिकारी जुगल किशोर महापात्र को आज ग्रामीण विकास सचिव बनाया |भूमि अधिग्रहण विधेयकको लेकर सरकार विपक्ष का सामना करने में जुटा है |आज पीएम ने भी संसद में स्पष्ट तौर पर विपक्ष से सहयोग माँगा इसके साथ ही इस विकत स्थिति का सामना करने के लिए श्री महापात्रा की नियुक्ति को महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है
जुगल किशोर महापात्र,आईऐएस,को ऐसे समय में नये ग्रामीण विकास सचिव की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गयी है जब संसद से लेकर सड़क तक भूमि अधिग्रहण विधेयक का विरोध हो रहा है। फिलहाल उर्वरक विभाग में कार्यरत श्री महापात्र को एलसी गोयल की जगह लाया गया है। श्री गोयल को गृह सचिव बनाया जा चुका है।
कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने केंद्रीय बजट पेश होने से दो दिन पहले 1979 बैच के ओडिशा कैडर के महापात्र समेत पांच नये सचिवों की नियुक्ति की है।
