A MBMC ward officer, who allegedly received a bribe of Rs 25,000 from a vendor, was arrested by ACB
,Accused Dileep Jagdale (52), who is the ward officer with the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation, was already under suspension for his failure to take action on encroachments in the city,
As per Police Sources ,Accused made a demand of Rs 1 lakh from the complainant for allowing him to run his Vada-Pav stall/cart promising no action against him,
The complainant approached the ACB, which laid a trap, and caught him accepting a sum of Rs 25,000 as the first installment of the bribe amount
