(New Delhi) Ayurveda Day Care Therapy Extended For CGHS Beneficiaries Also
A proposal of Day Care Therapy Center facility under Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy systems for central government employees and pensioners has been approved by the Ministry of Health and Family welfare. Private Day Care Therapy centers of Ayurveda.
All CGHS beneficiaries, serving as well as pensioners will be able to avail the benefit of these centres.
Initial empanelment of Day Care Therapy Centres will be undertaken on pilot basis for Delhi and NCR for a period of one year and subsequently would be considered for other places.
At present treatment of approved procedures like Panchkarma and Abhyanga etc. is given only after hospitalization in CGHS empanelment Hospital. This involves additional cost to CGHS as indoor room charges, which are separately paid by CGHS apart from the procedure cost. The day care centers will not only reduce the cost of hospitalisation but will also add to patient’s convenience.

PM condoled the passing away of Shri Praveen Rashtrapal
The Prime Minister,Narendra Modi has condoled the passing away of Rajya Sabha MP Shri Praveen Rashtrapal.
“Pained by the demise of Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat Shri Praveen Rashtrapal. My thoughts are with his family in this hour of grief.
As a trade unionist & subsequently as a leader, Shri Rashtrapal remained sensitive to concerns & aspirations of the poor & marginalised”,
Praveen[76] was suffering a massive heart attack.
He is survived by three daughters and a son.
His wife had passed away a couple of years ago.
His aide Amrut Pandya said that the MP from Gujarat had complained of uneasiness but before he could be provided medical assistance, he suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away.
An AICC Secretary, who was also in charge of Uttar Pradesh affairs, Rashtrapal was associated with the trade union movement of Income Tax employees in particular and the Central Government employees. He was an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax before he took a plunge into politics.
He was a elected to the 13th Lok Sabha (1999-2004). He was a member from the Upper House from April 2006 to April 2012 and was re-elected in April 2012.
Rashtrapal was a member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on 2G scam in the previous Lok Sabha.
Following his demise, Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned for the day today.

The Centre is considering involving its employees in the International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21, a Sunday, to make the event a grand success.
The employees may be asked to be part of the celebrations on the Rajpath in the national capital
Senior government officials said that the exact nature of their involvement will soon be worked out.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to lead the Yoga Day celebrations which will be attended by about 40,000 people,
The central government employees may be asked to join the Rajpath event or other such programmes in their respective offices here and elsewhere in the country. Govt has made it clear that their participation will not be mandatory,
There are about 48 lakh central government employees in the country.
The Personnel Ministry has been conducting Yoga classes for central government employees and their dependents over the last two months.
The sessions are being held on all days except Sundays and gazetted holidays at Grih Kalyan Kendra, Samaj Sadan in association with Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga.
Modi had in his address to the UN General Assembly last year appealed to the international community to choose a day that could be observed as International Yoga Day. Following Modi’s strong pitch, the UN declared June 21 as International Yoga Day.
The government is contemplating to organise the Rajpath event on such a scale that it makes it to the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of people performing asanas at a time.
The International Yoga Day will be observed in over 250 cities in 190 countries and Indian missions have been asked to make arrangements for that.
The inspirational voyage into a widely popular discipline that embraces a holistic approach to a healthy mind, body and spirit is set to air on June 21 on Discovery Channel.
The hour-long-special programme titled ‘The story of Yoga’ aims to celebrate the first International Day of Yoga and takes viewers through a journey to rediscover the age old practice.
The show would be telecast in five languages including Hindi+English+Tamil+Telugu +Bangla and explores the evolution, mysticism, spiritualism and cultural ethos of yoga.

सरकार ने भ्रष्टाचार से संबंधित प्राप्त हुए मामलों से ज्यादा निबटाने का दावा किया:५ सालों में १६९ ही दोषी
[नई दिल्ली]केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग[सी वी सी]ने भ्र्ष्टाचार से संबंधित प्राप्त हुए मामलों से ज्यादा निबटाने का दावा किया है |पार्लियामेंट में प्रस्तुत किये गए आंकड़ों से तो कमोबेश यही दिखाई देता है |वर्ष २०१४ में ५४९२ मामले प्राप्त हुए जबकि ५८६७ मामले निबटाए गए |इसीवर्ष १३५७ मामलों में कोई सजा नहीं दी गई
इसके आलावा बीते पांच वर्षों में भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक कानून के तहत दर्ज किये गए ३२९६ मामलों में से केवल १६९ ही दोषी पाये गए
ये आंकड़ें स्वयं केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ जीतेन्द्र सिंह ने ३० अप्रैल को संसद में प्रस्तुत किये हैं

केंद्रीय जांच ब्यूरो की जानकारी के अनुसार भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक कानून के तहत पिछले पांच वर्षों {(2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 और 2015 (31 मार्च 2015 तक)} के दौरान कुल 3296 मामले दर्ज किए गए। उपरोक्त अवधि के दौरान वार्षिक आधार पर दर्ज मामलों की जानकारी इस प्रकार है:-

महंगाई से राहत के लिए केन्द्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के महंगाई भत्ते AD A में ७% की बढ़ोत्तरी
[नई दिल्ली]केन्द्र सरकार ने अपने कर्मचारियों को महंगाई से राहत देने के लिए महंगाई भत्ते में ७% की बढ़ोत्तरी का निर्णय लिया | यह १ जुलाई से देय है | केंद्र के पेंशनधारियों के लिए भी महंगाई राहत की किश्त जारी की गई है | वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों के अनुसार अब महंगाई भत्ते का ५०% मूल वेतन और पेंशन में जुड़ सकेगा|
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने आज केन्द्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों के लिए महंगाई भत्ते और पेंशनधारियों के लिए महंगाई राहत की 01 जुलाई, 2014 से बकाया अतिरिक्त किस्त को जारी करने की मंजूरी दे दी है। मूल्य वृद्धि की क्षतिपूर्ति के लिए मूल वेतन/पेंशन की मौजूदा 100 प्रतिशत दर के अलावा यह 07 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि है।
यह वृद्धि स्वीकृत फार्मूले के अनुसार की गई है जो छठे केन्द्रीय वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशों पर आधारित है। वित्त वर्ष 2014-15 में महंगाई भत्ता और महंगाई राहत दोनों के कारण सरकारी खजाने पर क्रमशः लगभग 7691 करोड़ रुपये प्रतिवर्ष और 5127 करोड़ रुपये का बोझ पड़ेगा। यह जुलाई 2014 से लेकर फरवरी 2015 तक की आठ माह की अवधि के लिए है।
