[New Delhi]Spicejet Sacked Commander For Entertaining Airhostess In Cockpit
Budget carrier SpiceJet has terminated the services of a commander for allegedly making an airhostess sit in the cockpit with him and asking the co-pilot to sit out during one of its flights to Bangkok from Kolkata and back.
As per air safety rules of the DGCA, no other person is allowed entry into the cockpit other than the DGCA officials and the officials nominated by it.
The sacked commander reportedly not only allowed the airhostess to occupy his seat but also used some “abusive” language against the cabin crew chief that led her to file an official complaint with SpiceJet.

[नई दिल्ली]भारत ने विमानन सुरक्षा की रेटिंग बरक़रार रखने के लिए अमरीकी प्रौद्योगिकी विकास एजेंसी (यूएसटीडीए) से समझौता किया|
भारतीय नागर विमानन महानिदेशालय (डीजीसीए) और अमरीकी प्रौद्योगिकी विकास एजेंसी (यूएसटीडीए) ने आज नई दिल्ली में भारत विमानन सुरक्षा प्रौद्योगिकी सहायता के द्वितीय चरण के लिए अनुदान समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। इस अवसर पर नागर विमानन मंत्री माननीय श्री पी अशोक गजपति राजू और अमरीका के व्यापार एवं विकास एजेंसी की निदेशक सुश्री लियोकेडिया आई. जाक उपस्थित थे। यूएसटीडीए 808,327 डॉलर की आंशिक सहायता राशि प्रदान करेगा और ठेकेदार ‘द विक्स ग्रूप’ (टीडब्ल्यूजी)75,000 डॉलर की लागत सहायता देगा। भारत सरकार 446,866 डॉलर का योगदान करेगी।
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नागर विमानन संगठन (आईसीएओ) ने अपने 2012 के लेखा परीक्षण में भारतीय विमानन की सुरक्षा के बारे में अनेकों चिंताएं व्यक्त की थी। जिसके बाद अमेरिका के संघीय विमानन प्रशासन (एफएए) ने सितंबर 2013 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विमानन सुरक्षा मूल्यांकन (आर्इएएसए) परीक्षण किया और दिसंबर 2013 में समीक्षा की तथा जनवरी 2014 में भारत को श्रेणी-2 में रखा गया। मार्च-2014 में अमरीकी प्रौद्योगिकी विकास एजेंसी (यूएसटीडीए) ने एफएए के साथ समन्वय कर डीजीसीए के समक्ष यूएसटीडीए अनुदान समझौता परियोजना के अंतर्गत सहायता प्रदान करने का प्रस्ताव किया, ताकि एफएए आईएएसए की चिंताओं को दूर किया जा सके और श्रेणी -1 की स्थिति हासिल करने में भारत की मदद की जा सके। अनुदान समझौते के तहत अमरीका के ठेकेदार ‘द विक्स ग्रूप’ (टीडब्ल्यूजी) ने डीजीसीए की सहायता की और दिसंबर 2014 में एफएए द्वारा दोबारा मूल्यांकन के लिए इसे तैयार किया। मार्च 2015 की यात्राओं के बाद अप्रैल 2015 में भारत की श्रेणी-1 की स्थिति बहाल की गई।
वर्तमान परियोजना के द्वितीय चरण का उद्देश्य आर्इएएसए श्रेणी-1 की स्थिति बरकरार रखने के लिए 2014 के दौरान किए गए प्रयासों को बनाए रखना और परिचालन, उड़न योग्यता तथा लाइसेंसिंग में सुधार लाना है।

नॉन परफॉरमेंस के आधार पर नंबर वन बनी हुई इंडिगो एयरलाइन चलाने वाली कंपनी इंटरग्लोब एविएशन ने आज अपन आई पी ओ बाजार में उतार दिया है ,दस रुपये मूल्य के इस शेयर का प्राइसबैंड ७००-७६५ प्रति शेयर रखा गया है| बेशक कंपनी फिलहाल प्रॉफिट में है लेकिन परफॉरमेंस के आधार पर शेयर के ये दाम अधिक लग रहे हैं |२९ अक्टूबर तकखुले इस इशू के माध्यम से ३२६८ करोड़ रुपये जुटाने का प्रयास है |
चूँकि यह मुख्यतः एयरक्राफ्ट ट्रेडिंग कंपनी है इसीलिए चीन से भारी भरकम लोन लेकर यूरोप से एयरक्राफ्ट खरीदने की कवायद जारी है ,जिसकी डेलिवरी अभी लंबित है| और यूरोप के मार्किट की वर्तमान स्थिति से विश्व भली भाँती अवगत है |किसी भी एयरलाइन्स का प्रॉफिट या लोस्स काफी हद तक ऐटीऍफ़ की कीमतों पर भी निर्भर करता है| इसके अलावा इस बाजार में प्रवेश के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धी भी आँखे गढ़ाए तत्पर बैठे हैं|

Mizoram government is mulling over handing the lone Lengpui Airport near Aizawl, the only state-owned airport in the country, to Indian Air Force (IAF), state chief secretary Lalmalsawma today said.
Talking to media persons, Lalmalsawma said that the move was initiated by the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command. He wrote to the state Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla on June 24 asking for leasing the Lengpui Airport to the IAF for 45 years.
As per the proposal of the IAF authorities, the Air Force would look after the entire operational area of the airport while the state government would continue to manage the Terminal building and the apron.
“The proposal was discussed at a meeting between the state government officials headed by the chief secretary and representatives of the IAF on October six,” he said, adding that it was a preliminary discussion and no decision was made at the meeting.
The strategic location of Mizoram, sandwiched between Bangladesh and Myanmar and sharing 722 kilometre-long international border with the two countries, has prompted the IAF to ask for using the Lengpui Airport.
The IAF also has been proposing to set up Defense Radar System in southern Mizoram.
Meanwhile, the Opposition parties in the state have been strongly objecting to the handing over of the lone airport to the IAF

Tata-SIA joint venture carrier Vistara today took delivery of its seventh aircraft as the airline plans to scale up flight operations from the forthcoming winter schedule.
As per Airline The seventh aircraft, an Airbus A320, was delivered to Vistara today. The carrier would take two more similar planes by the year end to take its total fleet size to nine Airbus A320s
Vistara, in which Tata Group holds 51 per cent stake and the rest are with Singapore Airlines, had commenced operations in January this year with flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad from its New Delhi base.
At present, the country’s third full service carrier, after the state-run Air India and private airline Jet Airways, operates 293 weekly flights to across 12 destinations including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Goa, Guwahati and Bagdogra.
It has already announced its plan to add Bhubaneswar and Varanasi in its network from next month.
As part of its winter schedule, Vistara has sought to double its flights compared to the number of flights operated by it in the on-going summer schedule.
The winter schedule of airlines in India comes into effect from last Sunday of October and lasts up to March
