(New Delhi) Rahul Gandhi Justifies His Remarks “Rape In India”
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday said he would never apologise and instead demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should do so over an old video in which he claimed that Delhi had turned into a “rape capital” under the UPA dispensation.
“As far as their (BJP’s) demand for apologising, I am never going to apologise to them,” Gandhi told reporters outside Parliament.
The Congress leader also clarified his rape statement that triggered protests by the BJP in both Houses of Parliament.
Gandhi said he simply made a point that Modi had been talking about ‘Made in India’, but wherever one sees it is “rape in India” as rapes are happening all over.
He said the main issue today was that Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had burnt the entire Northeast, adding that BJP was diverting attention by raising his rape remarks.
On Twitter, Gandhi said: “Modi should apologise. For burning the North East. For destroying Indias economy

Centre’s Ravi Hits Back On Cong’s Rahul Saying Modi Is Pure as Ganga

[New Delhi]Centre’s Ravi Hits Back On Cong’s Rahul Saying Modi Is Pure as Ganga
BJP today strongly dismissed as “utterly baseless” and “shameful” Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s allegations that Narendra Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister had taken money from Sahara and Birla groups and said the Prime Minister is as “pure” as the Ganga.
Hitting back at Gandhi, Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said the allegations reflected the Congress leader’s frustration and were an attempt to divert attention from the Agusta Westland probe in which the names of Congress leaders and the “family” were coming up.
He told a press conference at the BJP headquarters.
Addressing a rally in Mehsana in Gujarat, Gandhi alleged that Modi as Gujarat Chief Minister had taken money from Sahara and Birla groups and demanded an independent inquiry.
Wondering why Gandhi did not raise voice against UPA government’s massive scams, Prasad said people of the country do not take the Congress Vice President seriously.
He was referring to the Supreme Court rejecting a plea for a probe by a special investigation team against Modi on allegations that two companies paid Rs 65 crore to him ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.

Congress & BJP TOP Brass Trade Bitter Charges On JNU Hoopla

[New Delhi] Congress & BJP Top Brass Trade Bitter Charges On JNU Hoopla .Leftist Have Also Opened Front Against Central Govt
BJP chief Amit Shah today alleged that Rahul Gandhi was supporting “anti-nationals” and wanted another “division” of India while the Congress vice president said the BJP was following an agenda of creating “divide and hatred”.
Speaking on the raging JNU controversy for the first time, Shah asked Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul a host of questions and demanded that he apologise for his stand on the JNU issue, saying support to anti-national forces in the name of the Left’s progressive ideology is not acceptable.
“An attempt was made to defame a leading university in the national capital by turning it into a centre which encourages terrorism and separatism.
He asked “I want to ask Rahul Gandhi if it would be in national interest had the central government kept quiet?
Shah wrote in a blog.”Are you not encouraging traitors by protesting in support of these anti-nationals?”,
Noting that slogans like ‘Pakistan zindabad’, ‘go India go back’ and those in support of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, Kashmir’s independence and India’s destruction were raised in JNU,
The BJP President wondered if the Congress leader had joined hands with separatists.
Rahul attacked the BJP and RSS over the JNU row, saying they do not have respect for diversity of the nation’s culture and wanted to control everyone’s views.” Gandhi said at a party meeting in Gohpur in Assam’s Sonitpur district.
“The BJP and RSS are following an agenda of creating divide and hatred, as can be seen from the recent developments in JNU, by imposing their views forcibly on people,”
“They find terrorism everywhere, even in universities and brand anybody who do not agree with their views as terrorists,” he added.
