They were stranded in Punjab due to a lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19
All were airlifted to their country through a special flight from Amritsar on Monday,
Special flight was arranged by the Bhutanese government only after getting tested for the virus.

The Punjab government on Friday extended the coronavirus lockdown till April 30, becoming the second state after Odisha to do so.
Special Chief Secretary KBS Sidhu tweeted.The decision was taken at a meeting of the council of ministers
Punjab has seen a spike in the number of coronavirus cases in the past few days, pushing the total count to 132 so far with 11 deaths.
Earlier in the day, during a video conference with the media, hosted by the AICC from New Delhi, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had indicated that his government was seriously thinking of extending the lockdown as the time did not appear to be right for lifting the ongoing restrictions.
He also said the government was looking for ways to extricate the state from the restrictions and enable it to function with the coronavirus around.

विदेश मंत्रालय के नए बने प्रवक्ता श्रीवास्तव के अनुसार भारत ने प्रत्येक मामले के हिसाब से पड़ोसी देशों समेत अन्य को मलेरिया की दवा हाइड्रोक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन निर्यात करने का फैसला किया है। अधिकारियों ने मंगलवार को बताया कि कोरोना वायरस वैश्विक से निपटने में अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय की मदद करने की भारत की प्रतिबद्धता के अनुरूप यह फैसला किया गया है। जबकि सोशल मीडिया में यह खबर वायरल हो रही है के मलेरिया आदि दवाओं के लिए यू एस प्रेजिडेंट डोनाल्ड ट्रम्प ने भारत को चेतावनी दी है तभी भारत ने दवाओं के निर्यात पर लगाई रोक को मात्र दो हफ्तों में ही वापिस ले लिया है
पंजाब में कोविड-19 से दूसरी मौत
(अमृतसर,पँजांब) पंजाब में बेशक दो दिनों में कोरोना वायरस का कोई नया केस खोला नही गया लेकिन कोविड-19 से दूसरी मौत की सूचना है
वायरस से संक्रमित 62 वर्षीय एक मरीज की सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज में रविवार की शाम को मौत हो गई। राज्य में कोविड-19 से मौत का यह दूसरा मामला है।
सरकारी मेडिकल कालेज और अस्पताल की प्रधानाचार्य डॉ सुजाता शर्मा ने कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित मरीज की मौत की पुष्टि की।
पंजाब में अब तक कोरोना वायरस के 38 मामले सामने आ चुके हैं।

The Punjab government on Sunday announced that banks would remain open on March 30 and 31 to facilitate people in their financial transactions, amid the curfew restrictions due to coronavirus pandemic.
From April 3 onwards, all bank branches shall be open for two days of the week, on a rotation basis,
The deputy commissioners (DCs) of the state have been asked to extend necessary support and ensure other requisite items during relaxation to the banking staff, the release said.
On March 31, a special clearing of all government cheques will be conducted.
Though April 1 is a non-public dealing day for the banks, the DCs have been asked to provide requisite passes to the bank staff on that day too
This was followed up with orders from the Ministry of Finance and Reserve Bank of India on 27th March, 2020

Any person from across the state could dial 112 for seeking facilities like emergency travel to hospitals, supply of food, groceries, medicines, LPG besides ensuring hassle free movement of trucks carrying essential goods and delivery of goods through e-commerce platforms.
