Virender Sehwag And Gautam Gambhir Have Come Out In Support Of DDCA Ex Chairman ArunJaitely
Facing allegations of corruption, under-fire former Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA)President Arun Jaitley today got the backing of the two biggest stars to emerge from the state– Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir.
Finance Minister Jaitley, who headed DDCA for 13 years till 2013, has been accused of corruption by the Delhi Government during his tenure.
The state government has demanded that Jaitley must resign or be “removed” from the union cabinet to enable an independent probe.
However, Gambhir and Sehwag came out strongly in support of Jaitley.

“Grossly inappropriate 2 blame @arunjaitley ji 4 corruption in DDCA. He was d one who got Delhi a proper stadium widout taxpayer’s money. Appalling to note some ex-players blame @arunjaitley ji for all that’s wrong in DDCA.

Sehwag, on his part, lauded Jaitley for being there for players. The swashbuckling batsman, who switched loyalties to Haryana from Delhi and retired from international cricket earlier this year, steered clear of making any political claim but lauded Jaitley’s role in helping players.
“In my time with DDCA if I ever came to know of any ‘surprising’ selection of a player, all I needed to do was to inform @arunjaitley,” Sehwag wrote.”And @arunjaitley Ji would immediately ensure correction and justice for the deserving players at #DDCA…Was a nightmare to speak to some others at DDCA but @arunjaitley ji was always available for players in case of any difficulty at any time,”

Stepping up attack on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over alleged corruption in DDCA during his tenure, the AAP today posed more questions to him, saying it would continue to raise its voice against graft in the state cricket body.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged that the Finance Minister has sent a legal notice to him and his colleague Ashutosh “through” Lokesh Sharma, who is Managing Director of private firm 21st Century Media, and said that they are ready to face one thousand such legal notices and will not be deterred from exposing “corruption” in DDCA.
Jaitley has strongly rejected the allegations calling them a propaganda technique of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to deflect attention when he himself was in the “dock” following a CBI raid in Delhi Secretariat.
Addressing a press conference here, Singh accused Jaitley of trying to “suppress” alleged corruption which had taken place in Delhi and District Cricket Association under his watch by sending legal notice.
Yesterday, the Aam Aadmi Party had posed five questions to the minister, saying that they would continue to query him on the alleged corruption in the DDCA.
The AAP leader claimed that they are getting papers pertaining to DDCA’s alleged corruption from several persons across the country.
Following a CBI raid in Delhi Secretariat in connection with charges against Kejriwal’s Principal Secretary Rajendra Kumar, AAP has been claiming that the central agency carried out the searches to target the AAP chief and was looking for a file relating to alleged graft in DDCA.
Since then the party has been demanding resignation of Jaitley from the Union Cabinet.

श्री बंसल अब डी डी सी ऐ के नए अध्यक्ष होंगे। सोमवार को हुए चुनाव में [ BCCI ] उपाध्यक्ष बंसल ने अध्यक्ष पद पर भारत के पूर्व कप्तान बिशन सिंह बेदी को भरी के अंतर से हराया। बंसल को बेदी के बंसल के मुकाबिले केवल १०% मत ही मिले ।इससे बेदी गुट का सफाया हो गया है |
बंसल मौजूदा अध्यक्ष अरुण जेटली की जगह लेंगे,जैटली ने डीडीसीए चुनाव नहीं लड़ने का फैसला किया था|बेदी शुरू से ही परोक्ष मत की व्यवस्था के खिलाफ थे उनकी यह मांग ठुकराए जाने के कारण ही चुनावी नतीजे आये हैं |पुराणी व्यवस्था के चलते किसी बाहरी व्यक्ति काDDCA चुनाव जीतना लगभग असंभव है।
