[Ludhiana,Punjab]”AAP”Slapped Another Defamation Case:Majithia Files defamation case against Sanjay Singh
Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today filed a case of criminal defamation against AAP leader and incharge of the party’s Punjab affairs Sanjay Singh in a court for alleging that he had patronised the drug mafia.
The case was filed in the court of Judicial Magistrate Bikramdeep Singh under section 499/500 (defamation) of IPC.
In his complaint, Majithia, who is also the grandson of a former Union minister Surjit Singh Majithia and elder brother of Union Food Processing Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, rejected the allegation levelled against him by AAP leader Sanjay Singh of having patronised the drug mafia, saying it was baseless.
He said that the allegation has damaged his reputation.
The court has fixed January 15 for hearing in the case.
Later, Majithia told reporters in the court complex that AAP leaders have the habit of making false allegations against the others just to play to the galleries and obtain cheap publicity.

Jaitley to File Defamation Cases against AAP Party’s Top Brass:DDCA Episode

and some other AAP leaders tomorrow. As per sources Jaitely May File Case Against BJP MP Kirti Azad Also
Jaitley said he had instructed his legal team to institute civil defamation cases against Kejriwal and others in the Delhi High Court and criminal defamation cases in the Patiala House courts.
Jaitley said cases are being filed in his personal capacity against Kejriwal and others who have issued “false and defamatory” statements against him and his family members.
Besides Kejriwal, cases will be filed against Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha, Deepak Bajpayee, AAP leaders,
President Sneh Prakash Bansal also strongly refuted the charges saying that no company bill mentioned in the sting operation exists in the cricket body’s transaction records.
