Teacher’s association of the Jamia Millia Islamia has written to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for establishing a hospital in the university that could be converted into a medical college in future.

The JTA said the university is situated in a densely-populated area, where more than 90 per cent of the population belongs to the Muslim community and many of them are underprivileged and desperately need quality medical facilities. “But they are not getting these services as there is no hospital nearby.”
The letter pointed out that JMI was running a bachelor’s degree course in dentistry, but the students had to go to other hospitals to study medicine.

In a complaint,
Rahul Sharma, founder of Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation (RACO), had alleged that Kejriwal and PWD minister Satyendra Jain misused their office for grant of contracts to Bansal. However, they were not named in the FIR.
RACO, an organisation which claims to monitor construction projects in the national capital, had alleged that a firm linked to Bansal was involved in financial irregularities in building a drainage system in north-west Delhi.
It was also alleged that the bills sent to the Public Works Department (PWD) for unfinished works were “false and fabricated”

Surge pricing is a technique used by Uber and Ola to raise fares to provide drivers the incentive of keeping their cab running while also making it available for the user irrespective of the demand.

After Ink And Slap Now A shoe Is hurled at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today by man who claimed to be from Aam Aadmi Sena, a breakaway group of AAP, during a press conference but it did not hit the AAP chief.
The attacker, identified as Ved Prakash, was detained by police, which quizzed him.
He talked about alleged irregularities in distribution of CNG stickers and claimed that no action has been taken though a complaint was filed by him with the Chief Minister.
The incident happened during a press conference at Delhi Secretariat here addressed by Kejriwal on roll out of the second phase of the Odd-Even scheme from April 15.
The shoe fell short of the Chief Minister, who had earlier been targeted with ink and was slapped by a man during campaigning for last Assembly election.
The attacker, who is about 26-27 years of age, shouted as he was being whisked away. Kejriwal later continued with the press conference

Electricity Bill Is Rs 91,000 in 2 Months
The electricity bill of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Civil Lines residence was about Rs 91,000 for the months of April and May, according to an RTI reply.
The General Administration Department of Delhi Government has furnished the copies of electricity bill of Kejriwal’s Civil Lines residence running into Rs 91,000. The RTI query was filed by Vivek Garg, an advocate and RTI activist.
Delhi BJP, however, claimed that the bill was over Rs 1 lakh and said that it would also seek power bill details of all AAP ministers.
“The Chief Minister’s residence has two electricity metres. The latest bills for the two metres are Rs 55,000 and Rs 48,000 (total Rs 1,03,000),” claimed Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Kapoor said.

आम आदमी पार्टी के विशेष निशुल्क सदस्यता अभियान ‘मैं भी आम आदमी’ के संयोजक गोपाल राय ने अब तक मिली अप्रत्याशित सफलता पर ख़ुशी ज़ाहिर करते हुए भरोसा जताया कि पार्टी ने जो एक करोड़ नए सदस्य बनाने का लक्ष्य रखा है वह संख्या 26 जनवरी तक पूरी हो जायेगी.
उन्होंने कहा कि कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक और गुजरात से अरुणांचल तक लोगो में पार्टी से जुड़ने का काफी जोश दिखायी दे रहा है और इसमें समाज के सभी वर्गो से लोग पार्टी से जुड़े हैं और जुड़ने के इच्छुक हैं.
