Party Alleges that Sole motive of the steep hike in parking rates announced by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation and likely to be followed by other two corporations soon, is to serve the interests of parking mafia flourishing with political patronage across the national capital.
Party Sees no logic in hiking the parking rates in the city when the three BJP-controlled corporations have miserably failed in meeting the targets of providing sufficient legalized parkings.
The municipal corporations have outsourced the parking lots to private contractors and with active connivance of local political contacts, these unauthorized parking lots are mushrooming across the city.
There are no uniform parking rates and the MCD is allowing the private contractors to fleece the people in order to allow their contacts to make money through unjustified means.
The MCD needs to answer the question that when it is unable to provide basic amenities to people how does it justify its decision to announce such a steep hike ?
The AAP will launch a campaign against the MCD to expose its inefficiency and connivance in corruption with the sole intention of helping the parking mafia, which has become a source of permanent harassment for the public.

The Ministry of Urban Development has constituted a 17-member High Powered Inter Ministerial Committee to prepare a report on decongestion of Delhi.The Committee has been set up further to the direction of the Urban Development Minister Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu to take necessary measures to improve mobility in the national capital.
The Minister has taken a serious view of media reports highlighting traffic congestion on the roads of Delhi for various reasons and sought corrective interventions on priority.
The Committee will take into account all the technical, financial and administrative aspects on ‘How to Decongest Delhi’ and will submit the report along with proposed action plan by the first week of November, 2014.
The High Powered Inter Ministerial Committee, to be chaired by the Secretary (Urban Development), Government of India, has Chairman, Railway Board, Secretary(Defence), Secretary(Road Transport & Highways), Secretary(Home Affairs) or their representatives as members. The other members of the Committee include:

The AAP Party ,today, demanded the sacking of Mrs Sheila Dikshit as the Kerala Governor in the wake of scathing remarks by the CAG over alleged irregularities in money spent by different departments during her tenure as Delhi Chief Minister.
AAAP Party also demanded registration of a criminal case against her and ministers of her cabinet for having looted the people of Delhi and having siphoned off around Rs 3,000 crore.
Referring To The Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) reports Which is tabled in the Parliament on Friday AAP Party Says that It is confirmed that the Sheila Dikshit government wasted around Rs 3,000 crore in the name of providing basic services like sewer lines, water lines, roads and drainage to all the 895 unauthorised colonies – which in reality were not provided at all.
AAP Alleges That Shiela Dikshit government played with the lives of around 40 lakh people residing in such colonies, by cheating them before every assembly election by distributing regularisation certificates which had no legal sanctity.
According to the CAG, there are virtually no sewer lines in around 895 colonies and nearly half of these are without roads and drainage lines. Where has this money been spent ?
It is clear that she was appointed a governor to allow her to escape prosecution for her acts of omission and commission during her tenure as chief minister and the BJP’s central government must ensure that she is brought to book.

“AAP” Urged L G of Delhi To Stop Harassment Of 2 Lakhs e-Rickshaw Operators Aam Aadmi Party[AAP] National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal today met Lt. Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung and urged For stoppage Of harassment Of e-Rickshaw Operators
Arvind Kejriwal Urged L G That the state authorities should immediately stop issuing challans, impounding e-rickshaws and stop harassing e-rickshaw operators.
Kejriwal also wrote to Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for the same.
In a memorandum given to the Lt. Governor, Arvind Kejriwal said that in its order dated 14 February 2014, the Delhi High Court had appreciated use of e-rickshaws as it is eco-friendly and and it also does away the archaic practice of man pulling a man. E-rickshaws were exempted from Motor Vehicle Rules but, through an amendment this exemption has been done away with. This has made plying of e-rickshaws illegal. Since then, these e-rickshaws are being issued challans and are being impounded on a large scale.
Arvind Kejriwal has argued in his memorandum that there are more than 2 lakh e-rickshaws in Delhi. Declaring them illegal would render more than 2 lakh people unemployed.
Their families will find it very difficult to survive.
E-rickshaws have also brought down the crime rate as many unemployed youth are now engaged in plying of e-rickshaws. These rickshaws also contribute to government revenue as the government charges VAT, excise duty and import duty on purchase of these rickshaws.
Kejriwal also said in his memorandum that these rickshaws are being allowed to ply in Ghaziabad under their own policy and each rickshaw is given a municipal registration number. If it can be done in Ghazibad, why not in Delhi?
Kejriwal has urged that since the case is sub-judice, challaning and impounding of these rickshaws should immediately be stopped till the pendency of the case and the rickshaws impounded so far should be released.

अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने भारी बरसात से बर्बाद हुए दिल्ली के किसानो को मुआवजा देने की मांग की
आम आदमी पार्टी[आप]के दिल्ली के लिए मुख्य मंत्री के उम्मीद वार अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने आज बारिश के कारन बर्बाद हुए किसानों की हालत पर चिंता व्यक्त करते हुए नुकसान का मुआवजा देने की मांग की है|
आम आदमी पार्टी प्रवक्ता अस्वति मुरलीधरन ने बताया कि शुक्रवार सुबह से हो रही बारिश के कारण बाहरी दिल्ली के क्षेत्रों में किसानों की फसलें तबाह हो गई हैं। ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के कृषि पर निर्भर बाहरी दिल्ली के निवासियों के सामने असमय हुई इस वर्षा से रोजी-रोटी का घोर संकट पैदा हो गया है। आम आदमी पार्टी ने मटियाला, नज़फगढ़, बवाना व नरेला क्षेत्रो में बरसात के कारण किसानों को हुए भारी नुकसान का मुआवजा देने की मांग की है।
पार्टी प्रवक्ता के अनुसार चारो विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में अब तक गरीब किसानों की करोड़ों की फसल बर्बाद हो चुकी है जिस कारण सालभर फसल पर आश्रित रहने वाले हज़ारों परिवारों के समक्ष दो जून की रोटी का संकट पैदा हो गया है। बवाना में धान, बाज़रे की फसल को भारी नुकसान हुआ है । वहीं मटियाला विधानसभा क्षेत्र में फसलें पक कर पूरी तरह तैयार थी और कुछ फसलें कट भी चुकी थी ऐसे में बिना मौसम की इस बरसात ने किसानों को बर्बाद कर रख दिया है।प्रवक्ता ने मटियाला के मुकेश कुमार के हवाले से बताया कि किसान दीपावली व शादियों के सीज़न से पूर्व फसलो का काम निपटाना चाहते थे किंतु इस बरसात ने उनकी तमाम उम्मीदों पर पानी फेर दिया है। इनका कहना है कि मटियाला क्षेत्र में किसानो को प्रति एकड़ 30 हजार का नुकसान हुआ है जिसका नुकसान करोड़ों में बैठता है
आप पार्टी ने दिल्ली सरकार पर बेखबरी का आरोप लगते हुए कहा है कि दिल्ली सरकार तो इस बात से भी बेखबर है कि दिल्ली में कोई खेती भी है। आम आदमी पार्टी प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि जिन लोगों ने बैंकों व प्राईवेट एजेंसियों से कर्जा लेकर फसलों की बुआई की थी, उनके समक्ष इस नुकसान से उबरने का कोई उपाय नहीं है । इसी तरह नज़फगढ़ में सरसों की फसल पूरी तरह खत्म हो गई है, करोड़ो का नुकसान हुआ है। हजारों एकड़ में तैयार फसल समाप्त हो गई है। नरेला में भी तैयार फसलों पर पूरी तरह पानी फिर गया है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविन्द केजरीवाल शनिवार को प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का दौरा कर किसानों को हुए नुकसान का जायजा लेंगे। पार्टी ने घोषणा की है कि दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनते ही अन्य प्रदेशों की तर्ज पर दिल्ली में भी किसानों को होने वाले नुकसान के मुआवजे का इंतजाम किया जायेगा। पार्टी का मानना है की दिल्ली सरकार आज तक उक्त क्षेत्रों के किसानों के साथ सौतेला व्यवहार करती रही है.

Aam Aadmi Party [AAP] has written a letter to the Election Commission seeking clarifications on use of Party name and symbol .
This letter has been written after arrest of five workers wearing the party caps in the capital.
It has been stated by “AAP” party that Since implementation of Code of Conduct in Delhi, Party volunteers are being unnecessarily harassed by Delhi Police.Even though AAP volunteers are peacefully campaigning for the party by wearing caps, Delhi Police are detaining them allegedly for violating the code of conduct. Some of volunteers were detained at Rajinder Nagar Police Station and were let off later for want of a valid reason.
The police is even objecting to wearing T-shirts terming it to be illegal.
In view of the above “AAP” party has asked for clarifications on the following points

मुख्य चुनाव अधिकारी[CEC] की घोषणा के अनुसार 4 दिसंबर को दिल्ली विधानसभा के चुनाव होने हैं। जिसके नतीजे 8 दिसंबर को घोषित किए जाएंगे।और 15 दिसंबर तक ‘आम आदमी पार्टी’ की सरकार बन जाएगी।
29 दिसंबर को दिल्ली विधानसभा स्पेशल सत्र बुलाया जाएगा और वही जनलोकपाल बिल (जिसका नाम दिल्ली जनलोकपाल बिल होगा) सबसे पहले दिल्ली में पास किया जाएगा, इसी के लिए अन्ना हजारे को रामलीला मैदान में 13 दिन का अनशन करना पड़ा था। यह स्पेशल सत्र दिल्ली विधानसभा के हॉल में नहीं होगा। यह सत्र दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में होगा। इस सत्र को देखने के लिए दिल्ली की सारी जनता को आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।
16 अगस्त 2011 से अन्ना हजारे जी ने दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में अनशन किया था। अन्ना के 13 दिन के अनशन के बाद संसद में बैठकर सारी पार्टियों ने प्रस्ताव पारित किया था कि अन्ना जी हमें आपकी तीनों शर्तें मंजूर हैं।
आज दो साल हो गए। लेकिन अभी तक उन्होंने लोकपाल बिल पास नहीं किया। अन्ना जी के अनशन के दौरान लाखों लोग रामलीला मैदान आएं थे। देशभर से करोड़ों लोगों ने इस आंदोलन का समर्थन किया। प्रधानमंत्री ने और इन सभी पार्टियों ने देश के लोगों को धोखा दिया है।
29 दिसंबर, 2013 को ‘आम आदमी पार्टी’ की सरकार अन्ना जी का वो जनलोकपाल बिल दिल्ली में पास करके, दिल्ली के उन लाखों लोगों का सपना पूरा करेगी। इस ऐतिहासिक घड़ी को देखने के लिए और दिल्ली विधानसभा के उस स्पेशल सत्र के गवाह बनने के लिए लाखों की तादाद में 29 दिसंबर को फिर से लोग रामलीला मैदान में इकट्ठे होंगे। भ्रष्टाचार और महंगाई से छुटकारा पाने का लोगों का सपना सबसे पहले दिल्ली में पूरा होगा।गौरतलब है कि कांग्रेस और भाजपा ने अभी तक दिल्ली के भावी सी एम् के रूप में किसी नाम को आगे नहीं बढाया है बीते दिन मुख्य मंत्री शीला दीक्षित ने यह तो दवा किया था कि चौथी बार दिल्ली में कांग्रेस की सरकार बनेगी मगर मुख्य मंत्री कौन होगा इस परउन्होंने कन्नी काट ली थी अब आप पार्टी के केंडीडेट की घोषण से कांग्रेस और भाजपा को अपने सियासी कार्ड खोलने के लिए स्वाभाविक दबाब बनेगा |

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वृद्धजन दिवस के अवसर पर दिल्ली के २ वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को वयोश्रेष्ठ सम्मान दिया और दिल्ली के ही पच्चासियों बुजुर्गों को खुले असमान के नीचे रात बिताने पर मजबूर किया | दिल्ली के पॉश इलाके वसंत कुंज में लीज समाप्त होने से एक ओल्ड एज होम (वृद्धाश्रम) बंद कर दिया गया और बुजुर्गों सहित डेड़ सौ लोगों को मंगलवार की पूरी रात सड़कों के किनारे बितानी पड़ी।
दिल्ली के दो वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को वयोश्रेष्ठ सम्मान देने के साथ ही दिल्ली के ही पच्चासियों बुजुर्गों के सर से छत छीन कर उन्हें खुले आसमान के नीचे रात बिताने पर मजबूर किया गया | यह बात जब मीडिया में सुर्खियाँ बनी तब जा कर दिल्ली की सरकार हरकत में आई और मंत्री किरण वालिया ने २ अक्टूबर को यह घोषणा की कि फिलहाल एन जी ओ के लिए भूमि तो नहीं दी जा सकती हां इन होमलेस बजुर्गों को नरेला के ओल्ड एज होम में शिफ्ट जरूर किया जा रहा है|
इससे पहले मंगलवार को जब दुनियाभर में वरिष्ठ नागरिक दिवस मनाया जा रहा था तब दिल्ली में राष्ट्रपति श्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने एक समारोह में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वृद्धजन दिवस के अवसर पर प्रथम राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार ”वयोश्रेष्ठ सम्मान 2013” प्रदान किये।महाराष्ट्र के हिस्से में चार +कर्नाटका को ==१ और मध्य प्रदेश के हिस्से में एक पुरूस्कार आया जबकि दिल्ली को दो पुरूस्कार दिए गए दिल्ली के[१] पुरूष एथलीट78 वर्षीय डॉ. गुरबचन सिंह रंधावा[२] खेलों तथा साहसिक कार्य (महिला) हेतु 65 वर्षीय श्रीमती दमयन्ती विजय ताम्बे भाग्य शाली रहे| इस राष्ट्रीय समारोह में राष्ट्रपति ने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि बुज़ुर्गों के लिए समाज द्वारा विकसित किये गये सुरक्षा प्रबंध को किसी भी तरह के नुकसान से बचाना आवश्यक है। बुजुर्ग नागरिकों के प्रति अधिक संवेदनशील रहना हमारा कर्तव्य होना चाहिए। हमें यह सुनिश्चित करना चाहिए कि वे अपना प्रत्येक दिन भरपूर रूप से, एक सेहतमंद, गौरवशाली व उपयोगी जीवन के रूप में जियें
लेकिन इसके ठीक विपरीत दिल्ली में ही पचासों बुजुर्गों से उनका आशियाना छीनकर उनको सड़क पर रहने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया गया|
बेसहारा बुजुर्गों की पथराई आखों में सुबह से लेकर रात तक यही आस थी कि शायद कहीं उन्हें अपना बसेरा मिलेगा मगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ।
गौरतलब है कि वसंतकुंज में निजी जमीन पर चल रहे इस अनाथालय में हर तरह के लोग थे। बुजुर्ग+बीमार + विकलांग और घर से निकाले गये लोग। जमीन की लीज ना बढ़ाने के चलते बुजुर्गों का ये अनाथालय बंद हो गया। फिलहाल एक एनजीओ इन बुजुर्गों की मदद कर रहा है और सरकार से एक एकड़ जमीन के लिए गुहार लगा रहा है।
