(New Delhi) Delhi Records 1,366 Fresh Cases of COVID-19
Delhi recorded 1,366 fresh cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the tally to 31,309, while the death toll mounted to 905,
According to a health bulletin issued by the Delhi government’s health department, there are 18,543 active cases, while 11,861 patients have either recovered, been discharged or migrated.
No health bulletin was issued on Tuesday.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that the state government would provide financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to flood affected people and for rescue operations in Kerala.
He said that the people of Kerala had been facing heavy losses of life and property due to severe floods, and Haryana is with Kerala in this hour of need.
Punjab+Delhi+Andhra Pradesh+Maharashtra+Tamil Nadu
have already announced aid for flood-ravaged Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced an immediate financial assistance of Rs 500 crore to the state, after reviewing the flood situation there.
As many as 194 people have lost their lives and 36 are missing in Kerala since August 8 due to rains and landslides, while over 3.14 lakh people have been moved to relief camps.
The southern state is facing its worst flood in 100 years with 80 dams opened and all rivers in spate.

[New Delhi]Delhi Bureaucrats on Mass Leave To Protest Bad Governance Of AAP’s Govt.This resentment is against the suspension of Two Bureaucrats.
Delhi government bureaucrats today went on mass leave to protest against the suspension of two DANICS-cadre officers even as the Union Home Ministry declared the suspension as null and void.
A day after two senior civil service officers of the Home Department were suspended by the AAP government for refusing to sign on a Cabinet decision file, around 200 DANICS officers went on mass leave while 70 IAS officers have gone on half-day leave, showing solidarity with the suspended officers
The action was taken against Yashpal Garg, special secretary (Prosecution), and Subhash Chandra, after they refused to sign a file pertaining to the Cabinet decision to increase salary of public prosecutors.
However, the Union Home Ministry termed the suspension as null and void.
Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS) are selected through civil service exams conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).Only the Delhi Lt Governor can suspend DANICS-cadre officers with permission from the Union Home Ministry.

PM Gifted Books On Religions Born in India to President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan
The Prime Minister Of India Narendra Modi presented President Nursultan Nazarbayev a set of books relating to religions born in India.
President Nazarbayev has held the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions every three years at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana since 2003. The presentation set includes an English translation of Guru Granth Sahib, as also specially commissioned reproductions from the manuscripts collection of National Museum, Delhi.
The reproductions include one of Jainism’s most revered texts, Bhadrabahu’s Kalpasutra (15th century AD) in Prakrit; one of Buddhism’s most important scriptures Ashtasahasrika Prajnaparamita (12th century AD) in Sanskrit; and a Persian translation of Valmiki’s Ramayana (18th century AD) in nastaliq script.

[नयी दिल्ली]दिल्ली के उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसौदिया के कबीर सहित ४४७० संदिग्ध गैर सरकारी संगठन पर गाज गिरी |
गैर सरकारी संगठनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई को आगे बढ़ाते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने आज 4470 संस्थानों के लाइसेंसों को रद्द कर दिया है | अब वे विदेशी धन प्राप्त नहीं कर सकेंगे । ऐसे संस्थानों में शीर्ष विश्वविद्यालय+सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार ऐसोसिएशन+ एस्कोर्ट हार्ट इंस्टीट्यूट जैसे संस्थान भी शामिल हैं ।
विदेशी योगदान नियमन अधिनियम “एफसीआरए”के तहत केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने इनकी गतिविधियों की जांच के बाद इनके पंजीकरण को रद्द करने का फैसला किया । इन संस्थानों ने कथित रूप से अपना वाषिर्क रिटर्न नहीं भरा था तथा इनकी गतिविधियों में कुछ अन्य अनियमितताएं भी थीं ।
गृह मंत्रालय के विदेशी प्रभाग ने इन सभी संगठनों के एफसीआरए लाइसेंस रद्द करने से पूर्व इन्हें अपना जवाब देने के लिए पर्याप्त समय दिया था।
जिन प्रमुख संगठनों के एफसीआरए लाइसेंसों को रद्द किया गया है उनमें पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय+चंडीगढ़+गुजरात नेशनल लॉ यूनिवर्सिटी+गार्गी कालेज +दिल्ली, लेडी इर्विन कालेज दिल्ली+विक्रम साराभाई फाउंडेशन और दिल्ली के उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसौदिया द्वारा स्थापित कबीर संगठन शामिल हैं ।

Christians believe that on Good Friday, Jesus Christ was executed by crucifixion.

Christians observed Good Friday in the national capital as they attended church services at several places amid tight security.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also wished for “mercy, peace and love” on this occasion.
“Mercy, Peace and Love! May the grace of Lord surround you and be with you on Good Friday!” Kejriwal tweeted.
Pastors read out texts from the holy Bible as devotees prayed for peace and harmony among the community, especially in the light of recent attacks on Christian establishments in the city.
Churches also saw street processions which enacted the journey Jesus Christ took through the streets of Jerusalem as he was led to his crucifixion.Christians believe that on Good Friday, Jesus Christ was executed by crucifixion.
Following this, his body was taken down from the cross, and buried in a cave and huge rock was put over the entrance and guards were deployed so that no one could steal the body.
However, on the next Sunday, some women who visited the grave found that the rock had been moved, and that the tomb was empty.
It is believed that Jesus himself was seen that day, and for days afterwards.
This day is celebrated as Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Heavy police deployment was seen around all churches and other Christian establishments in the city. PCR vans, ERVs and motorcycle patrols were deployed outside these establishments while static deployment was made in the night.
After a recent case of vandalisation of a missionary school, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had asked Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi to ensure safety of the religious places in the city.
Following this, all 240 churches in the city were identified and assessed for their foolproof security arrangements and the Delhi Police have also plotted the buildings on a map for a holistic view.

Personal Belongings of Sardar V B Patel Are unique part of India`s heritage:PM

[New Delhi] Prime Minister Of India , Shri Narendra Modi, received personal belongings of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel,
Indian P M Shri Modi ,on the 139th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, today received some of the Sardar`s personal belongings from Ms. Sheila Ghatate, of Manjiri Trust, Delhi.
These items, including plates, cups and saucers etc used by Sardar Patel, had been willed to Ms. Ghatate by Shri Bipin Dahyabhai Patel, grandson of Sardar Patel, and his wife Lui.
The Prime Minister said the items constituted a unique part of India`s heritage. He added that appropriate arrangements would be made for their storage and preservation.
