कृषि कानूनों के विरोध में चल रहे किसान आंदोलन से विशेषकर पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश का जाट वोट बैंक खिसक कर मुँडेर पर आ बैठा है।चुनांवों में करवट बदल सकता है।ऐसे में इसकी भरपाई के लिए प्रदेश के लगभग 13% ब्राह्मण वोटों को रिझाने के लिए जितिन प्रसाद सरीखे चुम्बक भी तो जरूरी है।

(New Delhi)Journo Arrest: Journos Condemn Police Action
Media bodies on Sunday condemned the police action against two journalists who were picked up during the farmers’ protests at Delhi’s Singhu border for allegedly misbehaving with police personnel.
They said such crackdowns impinge on the media’s right to report freely and interferes with its right to freedom of expression.
Freelance journalist Mandeep Punia and Dharmender Singh (with Online News India) were detained by Delhi Police last evening for allegedly misbehaving with personnel on duty.
While Singh was later released, the police arrested Punia on Sunday.
The Indian Women’s Press Corps, Press Club of India and the Press Association demanded Punia’s immediate release and said no journalist should be disturbed while carrying out their duties at any place.
Police had earlier said some people including the journalist were trying to remove the barricades, the police had alleged, adding the scribe also misbehaved with the police personnel there.

Police lathicharged Agitators at Chintamani Chowk in Shadara as some tractors taking part in the rally tried to deviate from the scheduled route and enter Delhi, on Tuesday.
The rally was scheduled to head towards Apsara Border but some of the tractors pushed through a police barricade at Chintamani Chowk. This prompted lathicharge by the police who tried to push back the farmers.
In the chaos, windshields of some vehicles were shattered.
The police managed to disperse the farmers.
A group of farmers who refused to follow the pre-decided routes, reached the ITO area in central Delhi. Police put barricades, used tear gas and lathicharge to stop them near Delhi Police headquaters to prevent them from moving towards Tilak Bridge.

(Chd,Pb)Punjabi Farmers Burn Copies of Farm Laws on Lohri
Farmers in Punjab on Wednesday burnt copies of the Centre’s three new farm laws at several places on the festival of Lohri as a mark of protest against the legislations.
Bonfires are an important part of this harvest Festival
Farmers also shouted slogans against the BJP-led Centre and slammed the government for not acceding to their demands. They demanded that the new farms laws should be repealed.
Farmers including women under the banner of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee held a protest at Pandherkalan village in Amritsar.
Farmers also burnt copies of the new farm laws at many places including Hoshiarpur, Sangrur and Kapurthala in the state.
Farmers, who have been camping at the Delhi borders, are demanding a repeal of the farm laws and a legal guarantee to the minimum support price for crops.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday had stayed the implementation of controversial new farm laws till further orders and decided to set up a 4-member committee to resolve the impasse over them between the Centre and farmers’ unions protesting at Delhi borders.

(चंडीगढ़,हरियाणा)खट्टर ने विकास के लिए किसान महापंचायत बुलाई लेकिन विरोधियों ने तोड़फोड़ की
करनाल जिले के कैमला गांव में प्रदर्शनकारी किसानों ने ‘किसान महापंचायत’ के कार्यक्रम स्थल पर तोड़फोड़ की जहां मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर लोगों को केंद्र के तीन कृषि कानूनों के ‘‘फायदे’’ बताने वाले थे।सी एम मनोहरलाल खट्टर के अनुसार उन्होंने इस छेत्र के लिए 100 करोड़ ₹ की यौजनाओं की घोषणा भी करनी थी जो अब भविष्य में किसी अन्य कार्यक्रम में कई जाएंगी।
इससे पहले पुलिस ने कैमला गांव की ओर किसानों के मार्च को रोकने लिए उन पर पानी की बौछारें कीं और आंसू गैस के गोले छोड़े।
बहरहाल, प्रदर्शनकारी कार्यक्रम स्थल तक पहुंच गए और ‘किसान महापंचायत’ कार्यक्रम को बाधित किया।
उन्होंने मंच को क्षतिग्रस्त कर दिया, कुर्सियां, मेज और गमले तोड़ दिए।
किसानों ने अस्थायी हेलीपेड का नियंत्रण भी अपने हाथ में ले लिया जहां मुख्यमंत्री का हेलीकॉप्टर उतरना था।
किसानों के इस हुड़दंगी व्यवहार के लिए बीकेयू नेता गुरनाम सिंह चरूनी पर आरोप लगाए जा रहे है
भारतीय किसान यूनियन (चरूनी) के तत्वावधान में किसानों ने पहले घोषणा की थी कि वे ‘किसान महापंचायत’ का विरोध करेंगे। वे तीन कृषि कानूनों को रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं।
कांग्रेस नेता रणदीप सिंह सुरजेवाला ने किसानों पर पानी की बौछारें छोड़ने और आंसू गैस के गोले दगवाने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री खट्टर की आलोचना की।
