Comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi who recently joined the Aam Aadmi Party, said the reason behind his joining AAP is to bring change since people of Punjab were fed up with the alleged rampant corruption and V VIP culture.
Ghuggi asked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, his son Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal, cabinet Minister Bikram Majithia to shun VVIP culture.
He Alleged “These top most personalities in the Punjab Government are enjoying top most security cover which is putting heavy burden on state exchequer,”
Ghuggi said that if they shun the heavy security cavalcade moving with them it would be better for them otherwise the people of Punjab would shun them in the assembly elections scheduled in February 2017.

Asked whether he will contest Punjab assembly polls, Ghuggi said he had no “motive” to contest polls.
“But if the party orders me to do so, I will have to follow its directions,” he said, adding that he would like to work for Gurdaspur and Amritsar area.
