Rahul Gandhi Inaugurated 3rd Eye Hospital For marginalized section of society In Hariana [Sohna]Other Two are In Amethi And Lucknow.
Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today inaugurated Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital at village Raipur near Sohna., an example of Hindu-Muslim unity.
On This Occasion Rahul Gandhi said that both the poor and the rich would get similar treatment facilities in this hospital. He said that the hospital would not wait for the patients to come, rather the team of hospital would visit the far flung Rural And Urban areas and check their eye sight.
He said that through two Other hospitals ,In Amethi And Lucknow, more than 15 lakh patients have been treated and cataract operations were performed on about two lakh patients whose eye sights were restored.
The hospital has a 16 bed facility which would offer comprehensive services.
The needy would be brought to be hospital and operated.

Rahul Gandhi mentioned the name of small girl Mohsina whom her parents thought to be mentally retarded but when our doctors examined her, she was found to be poor in eye sight. She was treated and now her life has completely changed. Similarly, Rahul Gandhi said, we have come here to bring a change in lives of poor people residing in Sohna region.
The Chief Executive Officer of Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital and Research Center Dr. Anil Tara said that the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust was established in 2002 as a not for profit, professionally managed institution for addressing the development needs of the under privileged of the country especially the rural poor. He said that the key areas of developmental intervention for the Trust are healthcare with focus on eye care through Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital and Research Center, Women Empowerment and Poverty Reduction.
He said that the IGE Hospital and Research Center (IGEHRC)was established in 2005 to eliminate avoidable blindness and bridge the gap between demand and supply of affordable high quality eye care particularly in northern India. At present, a dedicated team of more than 300 professionals are committed to realize the IGEHRC’s vision.
Dr Tara said that the BPL Families will be provided free service at this hospital and other patients will be provided upto 70% subsidized treatment depending upon their income.
MP Deepender Singh Hooda+ Parliamentary Affairs Minister Randeep Surjewala+ Transport Minister Aftab Ahmed + MLA Rao Dharampal were also present.
Earlier, the former Sarpanch of village Raipur Aas Mohmmed and present Sarpanch Ateh Mohmmed presented turban as a mark of respect to Rahul Gandhi while former Sarpanch of village Ulhawas Surender presented Shawl to him.
