[New Delhi] I&B Ministry to Use Social Media to Reach Target Audience
Central Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will host the first annual conference of media units under it on Wednesday
Under the chairmanship of Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore
Through this conference, the ministry aims to strengthen the synergy between the media units in order to ensure last mile delivery, while simultaneously brainstorm the use of new technology in communication
The participants will also discuss the ways of using social media to reach target audience groups and push the boundaries of communication outreach in terms of geographical and cultural barriers,

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Smt. Neelam Kapur, IIS (1982), as Director General, Sports Authority of India, by upgrading the post to the Apex scale, till her superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
