[New Delhi] Three Beti [Daughters]Top 1st Three Slots In The UPSC’s Prestigious C S Exams
UPSC Announced Results Today
Women candidates have bagged all the three top slots in the prestigious Civil Services examination to select IAS and IPS officers among others.
[1]Ira Singhal
has topped the examination followed by
[2]Renu Raj + [3]Nidhi Gupta,
who have secured second and third positions respectively, according to the results announced by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today.
Ira and Nidhi, who hail from Delhi, are Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise) officers whereas, Renu Raj is a doctor by profession. She hails from Kerala.
As Per PTI Ira topped the exam in general category despite being physically handicapped. “I want to be an IAS officer. I want to do something for the benefit of physically-handicapped people,” she said.
Renu Raj got the second rank in her first attempt.
Renu Raj, who works in a hospital in Kollam in Kerala, hails from Kottayam.
Third rank holder Nidhi said it is a proud moment for her to get selected in the examination. Nidhi is presently Assistant Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise.

भारतीय राजस्व सेवा (आयकर) एसोसिएशन ने उत्तराखण्ड में पुनर्वास और पुनर्निर्माण कार्य के लिए केन्द्रीय वित्तमंत्री श्री अरूण जेटली को उनके कार्यालय में 10 लाख रूपये का एक चेक सौंपा। आईआरएस एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष श्री रमिन्दर कौशल ने यह चेक श्री अरूण जेटली को सौंपा। इस अवसर पर एसोसिएशन के महासचिव श्री रजनीकांत और आईआरएस एसोसिएशन समिति की केन्द्रीय कार्यकारिणी के सदस्य भी उपस्थ्िात थे। इससे पूर्व भी आईआरएस एसोसिएशन द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष के लिए जनवरी, 2014 में 34,51,878 रूपये का योगदान दिया जा चूका है
