[Washington],N Delhi] Saudi Allows AI to Use its Airspace to Fly to Israel:Netanyahu
Air India has been allowed by Saudi Arabia to fly over its territory on its new route from New Delhi to Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today, This move would reduce travel time between the two cities upto 8 hours.
Interacting with reporters after his meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, Netanyahu said that Air India has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia over the matter.
So far Saudi Arabia has not allowed planes from any country to fly over it and go to Israel.
Israel does not have diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia,
Netanyahu said that as a result of the short travel of Air India, the Israeli national carrier El Al would be at disadvantage both in terms of cost and travel time.
As per Air India They are yet to receive any communication from the Indian regulator.

Prime Minister Of India Narendra Modi said today his government is making efforts to create systems that are innovation-friendly to build an innovation-driven new India.
Modi was speaking after he and his Israeli counterpart Benjaman Netanyahu dedicated to the nation a centre for entrepreneurship and technology in Deo Dholera village
Called the International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology (iCreate), a public-private partnership (PPP) venture set up to nurture entrepreneurs by providing them funds, space, mentors and other facilities.
The Israeli prime minister said he was delighted to be there.
“The world knows about iPads and iPods, there is on more i that the world needs to know about, that is iCreate.”
Netanyahu ended his speech with “Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Jai Israel! Thank you Prime Minister Modi”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu earlier held a roadshow in the city under a heavy security blanket as thousands of people lined up along the route to greet them.Netanyahu today described Mahatma Gandhi as one of the great prophets of humanity.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inaugurated the third edition of the geo-political conference, ‘Raisina Dialogue’, and laid stress on the need to develop economic, military and political power to emerge as a strong nation.

Delivering his inaugural address, the Israeli premier appreciated the efforts being made by the Narendra Modi government to cut bureaucratic red tape and improve ease of doing business.
Netanyahu, on a six-day visit to India, said a government can both facilitate and block economic growth. Growth is possible when there is a free market which facilitates innovation by business entities
Referring to economic growth, he said, “The weak don’t survive, the strong survive…you make alliance with the strong.”
He said that to defend a nation,
one needs a strong military which in turn
requires a lot of money.
The money, he said, comes from a strong economy.
Netanyahu stressed that alliance between democracies was important.
The event, jointly organised by the Ministry of External Affairs and Observer Research Foundation (ORF), is a multilateral conference aimed at addressing challenging issues globally.
The theme of the dialogue this year is ‘Managing Disruptive Transitions: Ideas, Institutions and Idioms’
