[Mumbai] Goel Hits Out At IOA Chief For Honouring Tainted Chautala+Kalmadi \
Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel today said the IOA chief was equally responsible for taking up the item which was not on agenda of the meeting.
Goel told reporters after inaugurating the 10th national vanvasi archery competition at the RCF ground in Chembur
Minister said “Indian Olympic Association’s job is to work with basic principles of ethics and good governance, but they have made two persons – Suresh Kalmadi and Abhay Chautala who are charge-sheeted – as Life Presidents,”
Goel informed that his ministry has now issued a showcause notice to the IOA and given it time till tomorrow to respond by 30th December .
The appointments made by IOA are wrong. We have told them (Chautala and Kalmadi) to give their resignations or they will be immediately removed. As sports minister, it is my responsibility to stop wrong things happening in IOA,” he further said.
Kalmadi has already decided not to accept the honour.

[New Delhi]Centre Distributes Cash Awards To Medal Winners of RIO Paralympic
Cash award distribution function was held today for medal winners of Rio Olympics/Paralympics, 2016.
Vijay Goel, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Youth Affairs and Sports was the chief guest.
In his address, the sports Minister assured the people about the commitment of his government towards the promotion and development of the sports in the country.
Vijay Goel presented the cash awards. Amount of cash awards is as follows:
[1]Shri Mariyappan Thangavelu (Gold in High Jump), – 75 Lakhs.
[2]Shri Devendra Jhajharia (Gold in Javelin Throw) – 75 Lakhs
[3]Ms. P.V. Sindhu (Silver in Badminton) – Rs. 50 Lakhs.
[4]Ms. Deepa Malik (Silver in Shot Put) – Rs. 50 Lakhs
[5]Ms. Sakshi Malik (Bronze in Wrestling) – Rs. 30 Lakhs
[6]Shri Varun Singh Bhati (Bronze in High Jump) – Rs. 30 Lakhs

नई दिल्ली]फंड्स की कमी से जूझ रहे नार्थ एम् सी डी पर विजय गोयल को लाभ पहुँचाने का आरोप
“आप” ने आज भाजपा शासित एम् सी डी पर आरोप लगाया है के फंड की कमी का बहाना बनाने वाली नॉर्थ एमसीडी ने प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स में विजय गोयल के 25 करोड़ माफ़ किए हैं
“आप” ने आरोप लगाया के दिल्ली के धर्मपुरा इलाके में केंद्रीय मंत्री विजय गोयल ने एक हैरीटेज बिल्डिंग खरीदी थी और उस हवेली पर लगने वाले कुल 25 करोड़ रुपए के टैक्स को बीजेपी नेता विजय गोयल ने अपनी उंची पहुंच का इस्तेमाल करके एमसीडी से माफ़ करा लिया।
इस मुद्दे पर पार्टी कार्यालय में हुई प्रेस कॉंफ्रेंस में बोलते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता और दिल्ली संयोजक दिलीप पांडे ने कहा कि ‘जिस तरह खेल मंत्री विजय गोयल ओलम्पिक में देश और अपनी पार्टी की फज़ीहत कराके आए हैं उसके बदले में शायद उनकी पार्टी ने उन्हे 25 करोड़ रुपए का फायदा पहुंचाकर एक ईनाम दिया है।
भारतीय जनता पार्टी में अपनी ऊंची पहुंच का इस्तेमाल करके खेल मंत्री विजय गोयल ने पहले तो सिर्फ़ अपनी हेरीटेज बिल्डिंग का 25 करोड़ का टैक्स नॉर्थ एमसीडी से माफ कराया। फिर जब इसका एमसीडी के अंदर भी विरोध होने लगा तो उसके बाद जितना विवेक विजय गोयल में बचा है उसके आधार पर उन्होने एमसीडी से उस पूरे इलाके के ही प्रॉपर्टी टैक्स समेत तमाम टैक्स माफ़ करा दिए जिसके दायरे में कुल 750 इमारते आ गईं। आम आदमी पार्टी ने निम्न सवाल उठाये हैं
१]कानून के विरुद्ध जाकर 25 करोड़ रुपए की यह टैक्स माफ़ी क्या आर्थिक अपराध की श्रेणी में नहीं आता ?
२]केंद्र सरकार के मातहत आने वाली जांच ऐजेंसियां और भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक संस्थाएं क्या इस आर्थिक अपराध का संज्ञान लेकर कोई कार्रवाई करेंगी ?
३]इस मामले में एक निष्पक्ष जांच के लिए विजय गोयल अपने पद से इस्तीफ़ा दें
४]विजय गोयल के इस्तीफ़ा ना देने की स्थिति में क्या भारतीय जनता पार्टी अपने इस नेता पर कोई कार्रवाई करेगी ?
