[New Delhi]NGMA’s Advisory Committee Not Dissolved:Ministry Of Culture
As per Ministry Of Culture The Advisory Committees of NGMA Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi have not been dissolved .
Their terms have ended recently (Mumbai and Bengaluru committee terms ended on 15 November 2018 and of Delhi on 17 January 2019). The committees are in the process of being reconstituted.This Clarification is Released After Amol Palekar,s Politically Criticism of the System
The recommendations of previous Advisory Committees (which are upto December 2019 for NGMA, Mumbai) will be honored and exhibitions of artists will be held as proposed. The new advisory committee will take a decision relating to future exhibitions.
Regarding permanent collections, it is clarified that NGMA proposes to display its own collections (including artworks by great masters) initially over a two year period. Some artists have expressed their apprehensions about availability of less space for temporary exhibitions and retrospectives. NGMA is deliberating on suggestions received from artists, and a final decision will be taken shortly in consultation with all stakeholders.

A section of the media has reported that the ‘Ministry of Culture has given the go ahead to the cultural unit of RSS to institute ‘Naimishya Samman’, and a grand extravaganza in the form of ‘Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsava’, will be held in Varanasi next month, to kick start the first edition of the awards’
In this context, Ministry of Culture has clarified that no proposal has been received from any quarter to introduce awards (referred to as Naimishya Samman in the fields of Peace, Human Rights, Literature, Visual and Performing Arts, Science, Education). It is also clarified that this ministry has not allotted any budget for instituting ‘Naimishya Samman’.

Ministry of Culture Denied Outsourcing the Maintenance of Monuments
Minister of State for Culture Dr Mahesh Sharma in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today said that At present there is no such proposal to outsource the operational maintenance with monuments of World Heritage tag under Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). However, ASI has undertaken conservation and development of Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi in collaboration with Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC).

[New Delhi] Qutub Minar Tilting @3.5 Seconds Per Year ,But No Excavation is done for Its Prevention :Centre
As per the survey carried out by Survey of India, Dehradun, the mean rate of annual change in tilt is 3.5 seconds per year Which Is Considered Negligible. This Change is w.r.t its base centre.
To further prevent this negligible tilt, the entire base of Qutub Minar was water tightened to ensure that water does not percolate into the foundation of the monument.
Some architectural members of Hindu and Jain Temple were found during the course of conservation & scientific clearance.
Some of these members are on display in the Qutub Complex and the rest are kept in safe custody within the same complex.
No excavation has been carried out in Qutub Complex. Only scientific clearance/conservation was carried out as per requirement.
This information was given by Minister of State for Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Dr. Mahesh Sharma in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today

[नई दिल्ली]दशकों से अटकी पढ़ी संग्रहालय+पाक संस्थान परिसर भवनों की संस्कृति मंत्री ने रखी आधारशिला
केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. महेश शर्मा ने राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय संस्थान और भारतीय पाक संस्थान के परिसर भवनों की आधारशिला रखी
और संस्थानों से रोजगार सृजन, भारतीय संस्कृति और पाक कला को बढ़ावा मिलने का आशा भी व्यक्त की|
पर्यटन और संस्कृति राज्य मंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) डॉ. महेश शर्मा ने आज नोएडा में कला के इतिहास, संरक्षण और संग्रहालय विज्ञान के लिए राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय संस्थान (एनएमआई) और भारतीय पाक संस्थान (आईसीआई) के परिसर भवनों की आधारशिला रखी। एनएमआई संस्कृति मंत्रालय का अंग है जबकि आईसीआई पर्यटन मंत्रालय के अधीन है।
इस मौके पर डॉ. महेश शर्मा ने कहा कि ये दोनों परियोजनाएं एक दशक से भी ज्यादा समय से अटके हुए थे परंतु दोनों मंत्रालयों ने कड़ी मेहनत से कम समय में ही इनकी निर्माण प्रक्रिया शुरू करना संभव कर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि ये संस्थान युवाओं को देश और विदेश में रोजगार के नए क्षेत्रों में प्रशिक्षण देने में मददगार होंगे।
पर्यटन और संस्कृति मंत्री ने बताया कि आईसीआई के पहले सत्र की शुरूआत 2017 में हो सकेगी और यह संस्थान अपने तरह के ही विदेशी संस्थानों से भी समझौता करेगा।
संस्कृति सचिव श्री रविन्द्र सिंह ने कहा कि एनएमआई अपना रजत जयंती मना रहा है और इसे छोड़कर देश में कोई दूसरा संस्थान नहीं है जो युवाओं को कला संरक्षण और सांस्कृतिक विरासत क्षेत्र में प्रशिक्षित कर रहा हो। यह आगे चलकर देश में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देगा।

Outlining the priorities over the next one month, Dr Sharma said that cleaning the monuments under the Swachha Bharat Campaign, providing security to tourists and connectivity to poorly connected destinations will be implemented soon.

The Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge), Tourism (Independent Charge) has said that a weekly monitoring system will be introduced soon for the various organizations under the Union Ministry of Culture. The Minister insisted on timely spending of funds while reviewing their working at the First meeting of the Heads of Organisations under the charge of Ministry of Culture in New Delhi today.
The Minister emphasized that 67% of the funds must be spent by December as per guidelines and targets must be met by the various organizations.
Dr. Sharma revealed that it is a dream of the Prime Minister that the rich cultural heritage of India should reach the remotest corner of the world via media of tourism and on wings of civil aviation. India is identified by virtue of its rich heritage, and the Ministry of Culture comprises of the custodians of this rich cultural heritage, a distinction of which they should be proud, he added. To highlight the importance of these organizations and their officials, a booklet on all the organizations and its officials under the Ministry of Culture will be published, the Minister said.
The Minister said that social media and interactive website can provide a major platform to increase the visibility of the Indian culture especially amongst foreign tourists.

The Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Mr. Ravinder Singh took a review of the performance of all the organizations including timely spending of funds. The representatives of various organizations under the Ministry of Culture including, ASI, NMML, SNA, IGNCA. National School of Drama, Lalit Kala Academy, zonal cultural centers etc attended the meeting.

The Government has appointed Shri N Gopalaswami as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai. In a notification issued by Central Ministry of Culture, it is mentioned that Shri N Gopalaswami has been appointed as the Chairman for a term of 5 years from the date of publication of the notification.
Shri Gopalaswami was former Chief Election Commissioner of India.
Earlier, the Government accepted the resignation of Shri Gopalkrishna Gandhi as Chairman of Kalakshetra Foundation, Chennai. The resignation of Shri Gopalkrishna Gandhi has been accepted by the Government of India w.e.f 3rd June, 2014.

गौरतलब है कि ५ सितम्बर को लीला सेमसन ने संगीत नाटक अकेडमी के चेयरपर्सन के पद से त्यागपत्र दिया था जिसके उत्तर में संस्कृति मंत्रालय ने [ Ministry of Culture, ]१० अक्टूबर को आदेश जारी करके यह त्याग पत्र स्वीकार किया|

मल्‍लि‍का-ए-गज़ल पद्मश्री बेगम अख्तर की याद में स्मारक सिक्के जारी

[नई दिल्ली]मल्‍लि‍का-ए-गज़ल पद्मश्री बेगम अख्तर की स्मृति में १०० रुपए और ५ रुपयों के स्मारक सिक्के[ Commemorative Coins] जारी किये गए |
बेगम अख्‍तर के जन्‍म सदी समारोह आज से शुरू हो गए हैं। एक समारोह में केन्‍द्रीय संस्‍कृति‍ मंत्री श्रीयुत श्रीपद नाइक ने 100 रुपए और 5 रुपए के स्‍मारक सि‍क्‍के जारी कि‍ए। इस मौके पर दादरा गायि‍का डॉ. रीता गांगुली + ठुमरी गायक शशांक शेखर तथा गज़ल गायि‍का श्रीमती प्रभाती मुखर्जी ने प्रभावशाली कार्यक्रम पेश कि‍ए।
अख्‍तर बाई फैजाबादी को आम तौर पर बेगम अख्‍तर नाम से जाना जाता है। इनका जन्म अक्‍तूबर 07, 1914 –और देहावसान अक्‍तूबर 30, १९७४ को हुआ |
वह भारतीय शास्त्रीय गायन[ Hindustani classical music ]+ गज़ल+दादरा + ठुमरी की प्रसिद्द गायि‍का थीं। उन्‍हें गायि‍का के रूप में संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्‍कार प्रदान कि‍ए गए और मरणोपरांत भारत सरकार ने उन्‍हें पद्मश्री और पद्म भूषण से सम्‍मानि‍त कि‍या।
उन्‍हें मल्‍लि‍का-ए-गज़ल का खि‍ताब भी प्रदान कि‍या गया। इस प्रति‍भाशाली गायि‍का के 100 वर्ष की होने पर भारत सरकार ने इस मौके को यादगार बनाने का फैसला कि‍या। इस उद्देश्‍य से एक राष्‍ट्रीय समि‍ति‍ गठि‍त की गई है जि‍सके अध्‍यक्ष केन्‍द्रीय संस्‍कृति‍ मंत्री हैं। यह समि‍ति‍ वर्ष भर मनाए जाने वाले कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा तैयार करेगी।
संस्कृति मंत्रालय के अनुसार बेगम अख्‍तर के सम्‍मान में दि‍ल्‍ली+लखनऊ+हैदराबाद+भोपाल + कोलकाता में कार्यक्रम आयोजि‍त कि‍ए जाएंगे।
उनकी कृति‍यों के वेब-पोर्टल, डीज़ि‍टाइज़ेशन/ डॉक्‍यूमेंटेशन इत्‍यादि‍ तैयार कि‍ए जाएंगे और प्रदर्शनि‍यां, प्रकाशन, वि‍चार गोष्‍ठि‍यों का आयोजन कि‍या जाएगा तथा युवा कलाकारों को छात्रवृत्‍त‍ियां‍ दी जाएंगी।शकील की रचना “ऐ मोहब्बत तेरे नाम पे “आज भी लोगों की जुबान पर है
