Out Of Twenty Six Feature Films Two Feature Films In Hindi Only Would Be Screened in Indian Panorama for 45th International Film Festival of India, IFFI 2014 Goa
Apart From Two Hindi Movies, Five Movies Are Selected In Bengali+Seven each Are In Malayalam And Marathi.
One Each From Assamese+Kannada +Khasi+Udiya+Tamil
Indian Panorama 2014 announced its final selection of Feature and Non-Feature films to be screened at 45th International Film Festival of India, IFFI, 2014 to be held in Goa. The Jury for Feature Films headed by renowned filmmaker Shri A.K.Bir selected 26 films out of a total of 181 eligible entries.
ELIZABETH EKADASHI (Director: Paresh Mokashi) has been chosen as the Opening Film by the Feature Film Jury of Indian Panorama 2014. Following 26 Feature Films would be Screened at the 45th International Film Festival of India 2014.

भारत सरकार के सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय के सचिव बिमल जुल्का ने पूर्वोत्तर सिनेमा North East Cinemaके महत्त्व को सराहा
श्री जुल्का ने कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर सिनेमा ने सांस्कृतिक एकता में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाईहै
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय के सचिव श्री जुल्का ने कहा है कि सिनेमा ने पूर्वोत्तर राज्यों और देश के बीच सांस्कृतिक एकता में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। पूर्वोत्तर सिनेमा की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत और जानीमानी फिल्मी हस्तियों की सृजनता ने देश के युवाओं पर अनुकूल प्रभाव डाला है। पूर्वोत्तर की फिल्म यात्रा का उल्लेख करते हुए सचिव ने कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर की फिल्मों ने एक ऐसी बुलंदी हासिल की है जिसकी वजह से केवल फिल्मों की कहानी बल्कि फिल्म उद्योग की व्यावसायिक और प्रौद्योगिक विशेषज्ञता की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मंच पर सराहना हो रही है। श्री जुल्का आज पूर्वोत्तर फिल्म महोत्सव के समापन समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने उपस्थित व्यक्तियों से फिल्म महोत्सवों के आयोजन के लिए बेहतरीन सुझाव दिये जाने का अनुरोध किया।
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय की पहल की सराहना करते हुए मेघालय के राज्यपाल डॉ. के. के. पॉल ने कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर की सुगंध, पूर्वोत्तर की विविध संस्कृति को एक साथ लाकर खूबसूरती से प्रस्तुत करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि रेडियो, टीवी और फिल्मों के अनुकूल संदेश से संस्कृति की कमियों को दूर किया जा सकता है। तीन दिन का पूर्वोत्तर फिल्म महोत्सव आज प्रदीप कुरबाह की फिल्म आरआई[ Pradip Kurbah’s film “RI ] के प्रदर्शन के साथ सम्पन्न हुआ।इसका उद्घाटन केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने किया था |

Ministry of I&B Received 1000 Advertisement Designs for the 68th Independence Day Through Crowed Sourcing
Top three advertisements will be published on Independence Day
Ministry of Information and Broadcasting recently outsourced advertisement designs for the 68th Independence Day through public participation (crowd sourcing).
A huge number of enthusiasts numbering 1000 responded to the advertisement issued by Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity on 18th June, 2014. An independent selection committee of field experts, artists and academicians shortlisted 10 advertisements. Of this, 3 have been adjudicated as the best and would be published in various newspapers across the country.
The top 3 advertisements would be given Rs.15,000/- as a cash reward along with a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. 7 designs chosen in the category of consolation prizes would be awarded a cash prize of Rs.3000/- along with a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय कल 14 मई से 25 मई, 2014 तक होने वाले 67वें वार्षिक कान फिल्म समारोह में भाग लेगा। भारतीय मंडप भाषायी+ सांस्कृतिक और क्षेत्रीय विविधता के रूप में भारतीय सिनेमा को प्रस्तुत करेगा।
इसका उद्देश्य फिल्म वितरण के क्षेत्र में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भागीदारी को बढ़ावा देना है। फिल्म निर्माण, भारत में फिल्मांकन, आलेख लेखन और तकनीक तथा फिल्म बिक्रय को प्रोत्साहित करना तथा सिंडिकेट तैयार करना है। हितधारकों के बीच सह निर्माण को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए पहल, सिंगल विंडो क्लीयरेंस मैकेनिज्म की व्यावहारिकता और राष्ट्रीय फिल्म धरोहर मिशन के सिलसिले में फिल्म अभिलेखन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग बढ़ाने की संभावना+ विदेशी निर्माताओं और फिल्म उद्योग से संबद्ध संगठनों के साथ विचार-विनिमय के मुख्य क्षेत्र होंगे।
कान समारोह में जारी किये जाने वाले मार्ग-निर्देशों का उद्देश्य भारत को फिल्म निर्माण के सुयोग्य स्थल के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना है।

Chief Justice of India Conferred 3rd National Photography Awards On This Occasion Life-Time Achievement Award Was Given To Rajesh Bedi, Eminent Photographer 13 Awards given in various categories
The 3rd National Photography Awards were conferred today by the Honorable Chief Justice of India Shri P Sathasivam to eminent photojournalists at a function held in the National Media Centre.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice conferred 13 awards in various categories which included the Life-Time Achievement Award to eminent photographer Rajesh Bedi. Awards were also conferred in the Special Mention Category for both Amateur and Professional segments.
Speaking on the occasion, C J I said that due to the daunting sphere of piracy in the domain of photojournalism, professional photographers must be aware of their lawful rights in order to flourish as professionals in their field. While Copyright protection did exist, it was necessary for the photojournalists to register their copyrights for enforcing their rights in case there were instances of infringements.

Elaborating further, the Chief Justice stated that the perusal of this process by photojournalists would not only protect their work, it would also register their copyrights making it easier to track down potential infringers and enable them to obtain a license legitimately for their creative work thereby avoiding the hassle of litigation.
The Chief Guest also stated that photography had become an integral part of human life and thus could no longer be considered an affluent hobby. The initiative by the Photo Division was an acknowledgement of the vision and effort put in by the pioneers of the Indian Photographic Movement.
Speaking earlier on the occasion, Bimal Julka, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, said that through the efforts of Photo Division, the photography as a medium had acquired a new meaning. Digitization had become the accepted norm and technology had become the driving force in this field.
Appreciating the award winners, the Secretary said that in an age, when almost everyone owns a camera, only a few had mastered the art of using lens to perfectly capture the best moments. It was the endeavor of the Ministry to ensure that the awards encouraged people to take up photography as a profession. The awards were also a testimony to the diversity in India as far as creative instinct for photography was concerned.
, The Audubon Society Book and in various encyclopedias. In the Professional Category, the ‘Best Professional Photographer of the Year 2012-13’ has been given to Shri J. Suresh, a renowned photographer and photojournalist who has made commendable accomplishments in social, environmental and wild life photography. Currently, working as Chief Photographer in Malayala Manorama Daily, he is winner of numerous national and international awards including Press Council of India National Awards for Excellence in Photo Journalism 2013.
Special Mention Awards (Professional) have been given to Shri Atul Yadav,+ Shri Dinesh Shukla+ Shri Chauhan Pravinsinh R,+ Shri Sudipto Das and Shri Dipayan Bhar.
In the Amateur Category, the ‘Best Amateur Photographer of the Year 2011-12’ has been given to Kingshuk Chakravarty, a computer science researcher.
Performance Award in HPA 2013; 2nd Prize in Indian Himalayan Photography Competition Special Mention Awards (Amateur) have been given to Sandipan Majumdar+ Alok Avinash+ Asis Kumar Sanyal+ Devendra + Avijit
The theme for Professional Photographer category was “Women Empowerment” while Amateur Photographer category’s theme was `Indian Culture`.
These awards involved cash prizes of around Rupees 17 lakhs with the “Life Time Achievement Award” winner receiving Rs.1,50,000/- , while the “Best Photographer of the year” in the Professional and Amateur category getting Rs.1,00,000/- and Rs.75,000/- respectively. The “Special Mention Award” winners received prize money of Rs.15,000/- each in Professional, and Rs.10,000/- each in Amateur category. Besides this, Medals / Plaques, Citations were also conferred on all the Award Winners

यह पुरस्कार सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों को कार्यक्रमों और उनके प्रस्तुतिकरण में नयेपन तथा समुदाय के बीच प्रभावी रूप से पारंपरिक संवाद के माध्यम से विकास के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए दिया जाता है।

यह पुरस्कार सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों को समुदाय को कार्यक्रमों की योजना, विषय वस्तु, प्रोडक्शन तथा प्रसारण में प्रभावी रूप से शामिल करने के लिए दिया जाता है।
[१] ”खासो साशन” कार्यक्रम के लिए साईरे जो संगठन, गुजरात द्वारा संचालित साईरे जो रेडियो।
[२ ]”विजयपथम” कार्यक्रम के लिए श्री विष्णु इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज फॉर वूमेन, आंध्र प्रदेश द्वारा संचालित रेडियो विष्णु।
[३] ”गांव की बात” कार्यक्रम के लिए कृषि एवं तकनीक जी. बी. पंत विश्वविद्यालय, उत्तराखंड द्वारा संचालित पंत नगर जनवाणी।
[ई]स्थानीय संस्कृति को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए पुरस्कार
यह पुरस्कार सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों को स्थानीय प्रतिभा और परंपराओं को अपने कार्यक्रमों में शामिल करने के लिए दिया जाता है।
[१] ”कंधाई कथा” कार्यक्रम के लिए शिक्षा अनुसंधान विश्वविद्यालय, भुवनेश्वर ओडिशा द्वारा संचालित वॉयस ऑफ एसओए समुदाय।
[२] ”अमा, कला, अमा संस्कृति” कार्यक्रम के लिए एसोसिएशन फॉर इंटीग्रेटेड डेवेलपमेंट, ओडिशा द्वारा संचालित रेडियो किसान।
[३] ”डुडी नालिके (कुनिथा)” कार्यक्रम के लिए सेंट एलोयसियस कॉलेज, मंगलोर, कर्नाटक द्वारा संचालित सामुदायिक रेडियो सारंग।
[उ]टिकाऊ विकास मॉडल पुरस्कार
यह पुरस्कार सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों को अपने लिए धन की व्यवस्था करने के लिए नये-नये तरीकों और मॉडल को विकसित करने के लिए दिया जाता है।
[१]सेंट जोसेफ कॉलेज ऑफ कम्युनिकेशन, केरल द्वारा संचालित रेडियो मीडिया विलेज।
इस वर्ष के राष्ट्रीय सामुदायिक रेडियो पुरस्कार के लिए आवेदन 31 जनवरी, 2014 तक आमंत्रित थे। 68 सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों से कुल 131 आवेदन प्राप्त किये गये। पुरस्कार के लिए पात्र सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों का चयन करने के लिए स्वतंत्र चयन समिति का गठन किया गया।
वर्ष 2012 में सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशनों पर बेहतर कार्यक्रमों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय द्वारा राष्ट्रीय सामुदायिक रेडियो पुरस्कार का आरंभ किया गया। ये पुरस्कार ऊपर उल्लिखित पाँच श्रेणियों में दिये जाते हैं।

राष्ट्रीय फोटो प्रतियोगिता में चिन्मय,संतोष कुमार,रिशभ को पहले तीन पुरुस्कार दिए गए
सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय की मीडिया इकाई के फोटो प्रभाग ने सभी के लिए टिकाऊ ऊर्जा’ नामक शीर्षक से 24वीं राष्ट्रीय फोटो प्रतियोगिता का आयौजन किया |
राष्ट्रीय फोटो प्रतियोगिता
ऑल इंडिया फाइन आर्ट एवं क्राफ्ट सोसाइटी कॉम्प्लेक्स में आयौजित इस प्रतियोगिता में संयुक्त् सचिव, श्री अनुराग श्रीवास्तव ने विभिन्न श्रेणियों में विजेताओं को पुरस्कार प्रदान किये एवं फोटो प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया।
रंगीन श्रेणी में कोलकाता के श्री चिन्मय भट्टाचार्य, मिदनापुर(ई) के श्री संतोष कुमार जेना, इंदौर के श्री रिशभ मित्तल ने क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं त़ृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किेये। इनके अलावा सर्वश्री शेषाद्री मोइत्रा, उदयपुर; क्रेतन सोनी, धार; शिब नारायण आचार्य, जम्मू; पियूष रागणेकर, इंदौर; बनवारी आर.राजपूत, अहमदाबाद; प्राची तिवारी, इंद्रौर; सोमनाथ मुखोपाध्याय, बीरभूम; देवेन्द्र शर्मा, पूरनजीत गंगोपाध्याय, कोलकाता; प्रशान्त बिश्वास, कोलकाता को रंगीन श्रेणी में सराहना पुरस्कार प्रदान किये गये।
13 राज्यों एवं केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों के 105 प्रतियोगियों से 439 फोटोग्राफ प्राप्त किये गये। प्रथम पुरस्कार के लिए 25,000 रूपये, द्वितीय पुरस्कार के लिए 20,000 रूपये और तृतीय पुरस्कार के लिए 15,000 रूपये की राशि तथा सराहना पुरस्कार के लिए 5,000 रूपये की राशि निर्धारित की गई है।
