FM Arun Jaitley and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi Inaugurated Hunar Haat in New DelhI at State Emporia Complex, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi from 12th to 20th January, 2019.
Jaitley said that India is full of heritage of master artisans. Programmes such as “HunarHaat” are playing an important role in national and international branding of this heritage.
Jaitley said that branding of art of master artisans of the country is very important and programmes such as “HunarHaat” are playing an important role in this direction. Such programmes will benefit lakhs of people associated with this sector.
On the occasion, Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that “HunarHaat” has proved to be a “credible brand” of “Indigenous Talent” of Indian artisans and craftsmen. “HunarHaat” has ensured “Development with Dignity” of artisans and craftsmen of the country.

केंद्रीय अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्री मुख्तार अब्बास नकवी ने आज दिल्ली से हजयात्रियों के पहले जत्थे को रवाना किया।
जत्थे में दिल्ली से कुल
3 फ्लाइट में 1230 हज यात्री रवाना हुए हैं।
दिल्ली से जाने वालों में जम्मू-कश्मीर, उत्तराखंड, उत्तर प्रदेश के हज यात्री भी शामिल हैं।
दिल्ली के अलावा आज
गया से 450,
गुवाहाटी से 269,
लखनऊ से 900 और
श्रीनगर से 1020 हज यात्री रवाना हुए हैं।

Union Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi described the move as a “major step”.
The government today announced a significant reduction in airfare for those going on the Haj, a month after it scrapped subsidies for the pilgrimage.
The reduction will be applicable to passages on Air India, Saudi Airlines and Flynas, an air carrier based in Saudi Arabia, to Jeddah and Medina from 21 airports in India.
The decision to cut airfares will end the “political and economic exploitation” of Hajis “as was done during the Congress-led UPA regime”, Naqvi said.
From Ahmedabad, the round fare this year will be around Rs 65,015 as against Rs 98,750 in 2013-2014. The passage from Mumbai has been brought down to around Rs 57,857 from Rs 98,750 in 2013-14.
The government had in January abolished subsidies given to those on the pilgrimage in view of a 2012 Supreme Court order

Minority affairs minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said today That There will be no subsidy for Haj from this year,
Naqvi told reporters that despite the subsidy withdrawal, a record number of 1.75 lakh Muslims will undertake the pilgrimage this year from India.
Naqvi also said that the Saudi Arabian government has in principle agreed to allow Haj journey from India by ships and officials of the two countries will sit together to finalise the modalities.
Naqvi said “This is part of our policy to empower minorities with dignity and without appeasement,”
Earlier this year, Naqvi had said that the Centre would abolish the subsidy for Haj pilgrims in accordance with a Supreme Court order.
“A constitutional bench of the Supreme Court had, during the Congress regime in 2012, directed that the Haj subsidy be done away with. Hence, in the new policy, as per the recommendations of a committee, we have decided to do away with the Haj subsidy gradually,”

[नई दिल्ली ]“मेहरम” के बिना “हज़” जाने के लिए 13 दिसम्बर तक 1000 महिलाओं का आवेदन|हज़ के लिए आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 22 दिसम्बर तक बढा दी गई है
केन्द्रीय अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्री मुख्तार अब्बास नक्कवी ने आज हज़ 2018 के प्राइवेट टूर आपरेटरों के लिए पोर्टल भी शुरू किया
मुस्लिम महिलाओं के “मेहरम” (पुरूष साथी) के साथ हज़ पर जाने पर लगे प्रतिबंध को सरकार द्वारा हटालिया गया है जिसके फलस्वरूप महिलाएं “मेहरम” के बिना हज़ पर जाने के लिए बड़ी संख्या में आवेदन कर रही हैं।
आज निजी टूर आपरेटरों के लिए एक पोर्टल की शुरूआत करते हुए मंत्री नकवी ने कहा कि हज़ 2018 के लिए आवेदन की प्रक्रिया 15 नवम्बर को शुरू हो चुकी है और “मेहरम” के बिना हज़ जाने के लिए अब तक (13 दिसम्बर) 1000 से अधिक महिलाएं आवेदन कर चुकी हैं। हज़ के लिए आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 22 दिसम्बर तक बढ़ा दी गई है। नई हज़ नीति के अनुसार 45 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र की महिलाएं जो पुरूष साथी के बिना हज़ पर जाना चाहती हैं, उन्हें 4 या अधिक महिलाओं के समूह में हज़ यात्रा पर जाने की इजाज़त दे दी गई है।
श्री नकवी ने कहा कि अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्रालय ने प्राइवेट टूर आपरेटरों के लिए पहली बार पोर्टल शुरू किया है ताकि हज़ से जुड़ी सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह पारदर्शी हो सके।
श्री नकवी के अनुसार हज़ के लिए अब तक 2 लाख 63 हजार से अधिक लोगों ने आवेदन दिये हैं, जिनमें से करीब 1 लाख 38 हजार आवेदन ऑनलाइन किये गए हैं। इससे समूची हज़ प्रक्रिया को डिजीटल बनाने के अल्पसंख्यक मामलों के मंत्रालय के फैसले को बल मिला है। इसके अलावा हज़ के लिए लोग मोबाइल एप से भी आवेदन कर रहे हैं।
साउदी अरब सरकार ने वर्ष 2017 में भारत का हज़ कोटा बढ़ाकर 1 लाख 70 हजार 25 कर दिया था।
