2013 Indian Nationals were 11,448 and out of this number 2,621 were women and 206 minors were between the age of 13-17 years.Similary during the year of
2014 total inadmissible Indian Nationals were 8,242 and out of them 1,965 were women and 78 minors were between the age of 13-17.
In The year of 2015 were very less compare to the year of 2013.Only 7,617 Indian Nationals were inadmissible in which
1,841 were women and 66 minors were under the age of 13-17. This is good trend that Indian Nationals prefer to enter United States through all legal channels

Slamming at the Public grievances redress and monitoring system of India North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) said that this portal is useless without any will power of the authorizes concerned to redress the issues and grievances filed online by the applicant or complainant.
Executive Director Satnam Singh Chahal said that he filed a request for audience in the last week of January 2016 with Punjab NRI Minister Mr Tota Singh, DGP Punjab Police on Dec 2015 to discuss the serious issues of Punjabi Diaspora but until today this request is still under process and the same is pending with Mr H.S.Kandhola Director Grievances and Pensions for necessary action which should be taken on January 20,2016.
It is still waiting for action on Feb 19,2016 when he is back to United States from a trip to India
Chahal. Added, Similarly a request was filed to seek an audience with MEA Minister on Dec 23,2015 to discuss about the ten missing persons from Punjab while going to USA but the same request was closed on January 01,2016.

North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) urged the Punjab government not to scrap annual NRI Meet during the first week of coming new year. Releasing this statement from Jalandhar NAPA executive director Satnam Singh Chahal said annual meet of Punjabi Diaspora is a need of the hour which will help to redress the issues and concerns of the Punjabi Diaspora.
Chahal suggested the state government that Punjab Chief Minister should have two state level sangat darshans for Punjabi Diaspora,
one for listening their grievances and the
second for to respond about the action taken by the state on their grievances.
This can save the energy and time of State government and Punjabi Diaspora added Chahal.
He also suggested the state government to form advisory council of Punjabi Diaspora from different countries to have a meeting with the state Chief Minister every year before the NRI meet to advise the state government regarding the issues and concerns of the Diaspora. Chahal also conveyed that NAPA office is getting flood of phone calls daily from those Punjabi living abroad who have any issue or concerns to know about the date and time of NRI meet in Punjab this year
