दुनिया में सबसे ऊंची युद्धभूमि सियाचिन में सैनिकों को दिवाली की अद्भुत भेंट देने के पश्चात भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कश्मीर घाटी के बाढ़ पीड़ितों के साथ समय बिताया और उनका दुःख दर्द बांटा
प्रधानमंत्रीश्री मोदी ने ने कश्मीर में बाढ़ से तबाह हुए घरों के पुनर्निर्माण के लिए 570 करोड़ रुपये और बाढ़ से सर्वाधिक प्रभावित हुए ६ अस्पतालों के लिए 175 करोड़ रुपये की सहायता राशि देने की घोषणा की।इसके आलावा उन्होंने स्कूली छात्रों को निशुल्क किताबें-कॉपियां मुहैया कराने की भी घोषणा की।
प्रधानमंत्री ने बाढ़ पीड़ितों से कहा, कि जम्मू कश्मीर के दर्द में समूचा भारत बराबर का शरीक हैऔर केंद्रीय सरकार लोगों के पुनर्वास के प्रयासों में उनके साथ खड़ी है।
इससे पूर्व जम्मू कश्मीर के मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने प्रधानमंत्री को बाढ़ प्रभावित राज्य में राहत एवं पुनर्वास अभियानों की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी दी और बाढ़ में तबाह क्षेत्रों का पुनर्निर्माण करने के लिए केंद्र से वित्तीय सहायता मांगी \
हवाई अड्डे पर प्रदेश के राज्यपाल एनएन वोहरा + मुख्यमंत्री उमर अब्दुल्ला ने उनकी अगवानी की।
इससे पूर्व सात सितंबर को अपनी पहली यात्रा के दौरान पीएम ने पीड़ितों के पुनर्वास के लिए 1000 करोड़ रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता की पेशकश की थी।आज भी उन्होंने सी एम की मांग पर कार्यवाही के लिए अधिकारीयों को निर्देश जारी किये

[New Delhi]On Diwali today,Prime Minister Narendra Modi Gave Tremendous Diwali Gifts To Soldiers On Impassable High Altitude Siachen. And ensured a Life of Dignity for Them.The Prime Minister later handed over a cheque for Rs. 5 lakh for the welfare of the jawans+ personally offered sweets to the jawans.
Indian P M spent some time with the soldiers posted on the heights of Siachen Glacier to send the message that all Indians stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them.

PM thanked to jawans saying that “You make it possible for 125 crore Indians to celebrate Diwali happily”.
“Your dreams and responsibilities are the responsibility of us all. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with you.”
The P M, Shri Modi, today made a surprise visit to Siachen. Addressing officers and jawans of the Indian Armed Forces at Siachen Base Camp at a height of over 12,000 feet, he praised their valour and courage, saying that 125 crore Indians could celebrate Diwali today, and go about their lives in comfort, because the jawans stood guard at the borders, prepared to make every sacrifice for the nation. the P M added that The nation is proud of all three wings of the armed forces, .
The Prime Minister said he had come unannounced, and the jawans may be surprised, but one does not need to announce arrival when coming to one`s own (family).
The Prime Minister said the jawans at Siachen worked in one of the remotest places in the world. It is a rare opportunity to be called upon to defend the country in such difficult conditions, he said.
Shri Narendra Modi said that he comes to Siachen as a representative of the family members of the jawans who are busy serving Mother India on the borders.
He said he is privileged that his first Diwali as Prime Minister will be spent partly with the jawans of Siachen, and partly with those affected by the floods in Srinagar.

He said the Indian Armed Forces were unique – because while they spelt trouble for the enemy on the battlefield, they spelt life for all the countrymen affected by disasters or natural calamities. He recalled the immense contribution made by the Armed Forces during the recent floods in Srinagar.
He also appreciated the fact that women too were now contributing to the Indian Armed Forces in a significant way.
Sharing the pain and anguish of those who lose their loved ones in these difficult conditions, PM said sometimes a body is found years later, and many still wait. He said one has to witness first-hand, the conditions at Siachen to appreciate the hardship that the jawans go through.
The Prime Minister assured the jawans that wherever they are, and serving or retired, the country stands shoulder to shoulder with them. He said their dreams and responsibilities are the entire country`s responsibility. He said he would do his utmost to ensure a life of dignity for them.
The Prime Minister said the promise of One Rank, One Pension had been fulfilled, and preparations were being made for a National War Memorial, that we could all be proud of. The Prime Minister wished the entire country “Happy Diwali” from the icy heights of Siachen, adding that as countrymen light diyas today, they should recall that the warmth of the earthen lamps has been fuelled by the sweat and toil of the jawans of the Indian Armed Forces. Let those jawans inspire the rest of the country to work towards achieving the dreams and aspirations of the common man, he added
P M wrote in the visitors` book, saying that the soldiers in uniform who guarded the nation`s frontiers in such difficult conditions were no less than `rishis` and sages. The Prime Minister was at Siachen Base Camp for over an hour.

P M Said that a mistake by one sportsperson can bring bad name to the country so sports persons should be more cautious about their conduct. He expressed hope that the combination of his enthusiasm and the spirit (hausla) of the sportspersons would bring good results for the nation
P M said that no country can go forward without self-respect and pride. He said when Mangalyaan successfully reached Mars, it was the achievement of the scientists, but a matter of pride for all Indians, and it brought global recognition for India. Similarly, a sportsperson`s achievements bring respect and pride for all Indians. So They Should Be More Cautious About Their Activities.He urged the assembled sportspersons to feel free to give their suggestions to him, and to call on him personally like friend if they have anything specific to talk about. He appreciated the efforts made for the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan” by Marykom and Sachin Tendulkar, and said these had much greater visibility than a Prime Minister wielding the broom. He said sportspersons do as much for the country as political leaders.

While talking about History and Importance of sports in India Sh Modi Said India has a long history of sports, and a sports stadium has been discovered in the archaeological site of Dholavira near Kutch.
Ancient texts like the Ramayana and Mahabharata also show focus on physical activities as part of education. But we have not geared ourselves up to compete globally, so far, he said, adding that this situation is slowly changing now, as states focus on specific sports, and setting up Sports Universities.
He said India is tying up with other countries for development of sports.
The Prime Minister said that the corporate world is now coming forward to promote specific sports,
The Prime Minister said award-winning sportspersons who can speak well, should deliver talks in Universities, as this will prove inspirational for youth.
The gathering was also addressed by the Minister for Sports, Shri Sarbanand Sonowal. The vote of thanks was proposed by star boxer Marykom.

[New Delhi]Indian Army’s Top Brass Reviews Operational Preparedness .
The Army Commander’s 4 Dayer Conference commenced today and will conclude on 16 Oct 14.
Conference is being chaired by C of A S, Gen Dalbir Singh.
Army Commanders of all Operational Commands+Strategic Forces Command+ Army Training Command + Principal Staff Officers from the Army Headquarters are in attendance.
This conference is the highest level Military Conference and is held bi-annually to discuss current internal and external strategic issues, review of operational preparedness of the Indian Army and aspects pertaining to military technology and force modernization.
As Per Col Rohan Anand, SM PRO (Army)This Conference Of Commanders will conclude with the Combined Commanders Conference on 17 Oct 14 which will be chaired by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has exhorted the people of India to pledge to create an atmosphere for equality for the girl child and to end gender-based discrimination in the country.
P M Said “On International Day of the Girl Child we celebrate the achievements of our daughters. From the classroom to sports, they shine everywhere. Today let us pledge to create an atmosphere of equality for the girl child. There is no question of any discrimination based on gender,”
The Prime Minister also called for eradication of the menace of female foeticide from the country and invited suggestions from the citizens on “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” on the MyGov portal.

राष्ट्रपति ने कहा ‘‘इस पुरस्कार को बाल श्रम जैसी जटिल सामाजिक समस्याओं के समाधान में भारत के नागरिक समाज के योगदान को और देश से बाल श्रम के सभी रूपों को समाप्त करने में सरकार के साथ सहयोग की उनकी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका के रूप में देखा जाना चाहिए’’।

देते हुए कहा “श्री कैलाश सत्यार्थी को नोबल शांति पुरस्कार मिलने पर बधाई। पूरे देश को यह महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि को हासिल करने पर गर्व है। श्री कैलाश सत्यार्थी ने अपना जीवन ऐसे कार्य में लगाया जिसका समूची मानवता के लिए बेहद महत्व है। मैं उनके इन प्रयासों के लिए उनका अभिनंदन करता हूं।”
प्रधानमंत्री ने पाकिस्तान की सुश्री मलाला युसुफज़ई को भी नोबल शान्ति पुरस्कार मिलने पर बधाई दी।
[३]प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा “मलाला युसुफज़ई का जीवन दृढ़ता और साहस से भरा है।मैं उन्हें नोबल शान्ति पुरस्कार मिलने पर बधाई देता हूं।”
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने कैलाश सत्‍यार्थी + मलाला युसुफज़ई को बधाई सन्देश में कहा बाल श्रम और बच्‍चों की तस्‍करी के खिलाफ शुरु किए गए आंदोलन के लिए नोबल शांति पुरस्‍कार प्राप्‍त करने पर श्री कैलाश सत्‍यार्थी को बधाई | गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि श्री कैलाश सत्‍यार्थी बच्‍चों के अधिकारों के हिमायती हैं जिनके कार्य को अंतर्राष्‍ट्रीय स्‍तर पर मान्‍यता मिली है।
श्री राजनाथ सिंह ने श्री सत्‍यार्थी के साथ सुश्री मलाला को नोबल शांति पुरस्‍कार मिलने पर उन्‍हें भी बधाई दी। गृह मंत्री ने कहा कि सुश्री मलाला के पाकिस्‍तान में लड़कियों की शिक्षा के लिए साहसिक संघर्ष ने दक्षिण एशिया में अनेक लोगों को प्रेरणा दी है।
