(New Delhi) NDMC Hikes License Fee for Cinema Halls to ₹ 6,120 per annum
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has announced a marginal hike in license fee for operation of various trades, ranging from dry cleaning shops to cinema halls, in its areas.
While the license fee for a meat shop in the area has been revised to Rs 1,224 per annum from Rs 1,200,
‘dangerous offence trades’ including petrol pumps, service stations and dry cleaning shops will be charged Rs 510 per annum from the earlier Rs 500.
Similarly, the license fee for cinema halls has been hiked to Rs 6,120 per annum from Rs 6,000.

दिल्ली के तीनों नगर निगमों के तहत संचालित स्कूलों को भारी धुंध एवं प्रदूषण के कारण कल बंद रखने का आदेश दिया गया है। पिछले 17 वर्षों में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में यह सबसे खतरनाक धुंध है।
एसडीएमसी में विपक्ष के नेता सुभाष आर्य के अनुसार ‘‘तीनों नगर निगम के तहत सभी स्कूलों को कल भारी धुंध और प्रदूषण के कारण बंद रखा जाएगा। स्कूल बंद रखने का आदेश फिलहाल एक दिन के लिए है। स्थिति के मुताबिक हम उन्हें बाद में भी बंद रखने का निर्णय करेंगे।’’

श्री सिंह ने कहा है कि श्री एम एम खान एनडीएमसी के समर्पित और ईमानदार कर्मचारी थे। दिल्ली पुलिस ने घटना के 48 घंटों के अंदर श्री एम एम खान की हत्या के सभी सात अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री ने श्री एम एम खान के परिवार को संवेदना संदेश में कहा है कि श्री खान के परिवार को सभी संभव समर्थन दिया जाएगा।
श्री सिंह ने स्वर्गीय खान के परिवार को 25 लाख रुपए की अनुग्रह राशि देने की घोषणा की है। गृहमंत्री के निर्देश पर एनडीएमसी ने दिवंगत श्री एम एम खान की पत्नी को अनुकंपा के आधार पर नौकरी देने का प्रस्ताव किया है। एनडीएमसी के कर्मचारियों ने भी श्री एम एम खान के प्रति एकजुटता दिखाते हुए अपना एक दिन का वेतन श्री एम एम खान के परिवार को देने का निर्णय लिया है।
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री ने कहा है कि दु:ख की इस घड़ी में गृहमंत्रालय और एनडीएमसी दिवंगत श्री एम एम खान के परिवार के साथ है।

New Delhi Municipal Council has registered a record revenue collection of Rs 3408.29 crore surpassing the target for the finacial year 2015-16 by Rs 122 crore.
NMDC exercises civic jurisdiction over an area that is home to some of the richest people in the city.
It has also posted the highest collection in property tax in five years, with an increase of 20 per cent over its haul previous year.
“NDMC has collected
Rs 3408.29 crore against the revised estimate of Rs 3,286.89 crore for 2015-16. In property tax,
there is a collection of Rs 444 crore, with an increase of 20 per cent against the collection of Rs 370 crore in 2014-15,”
The property tax collection in the year 2012, 2013, 2014 were Rs 382.61 crore, Rs 366.73 crore and Rs 370 crore respectively

Health Ministry seeks report from Delhi Govt over death of child due to Dengue
The Health & Family Welfare Ministry has sought a report from the Delhi government on the death of a child in Delhi due to Dengue and the subsequent suicide of his parents, as reported in media today. The report is sought by 15 September, 2015.
While an upsurge in the cases of Dengue has been reported from Delhi in the month of August 2015, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has been supporting the states affected by Dengue in all possible ways.
The situation is being constantly monitored by the top brass of the Ministry who have been reviewing the Dengue situation in Delhi through regular meetings with senior officers from Delhi Government, Municipal Corporations, NDMC, Delhi Cantonment Board and MS of Central Government hospitals in Delhi.
Availability of adequate stock of NS1 test kits for Dengue in all Central Government hospitals has been ensured.

दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने औरंगजेब रोड का नाम बदल कर एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम के नाम पर करने से उत्तर दिल्ली नगर निगम[एनडीएमसी] को रोकने संबंधी एक जनहित याचिका पर केंद्र से आज जवाब मांगा।
मुख्य न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति जी रोहिणी और न्यायमूर्ति जयंत नाथ की एक पीठ ने अतिरिक्त सॉलिसिटर जनरल[एएसजी]संजय जैन को यह बताने के लिए कहा कि सड़कों का नाम बदलने के लिए किसी दिशा निर्देश का पालन करना होता है या नहीं।
पीठ ने कहा ‘‘हम लोगों को सिर्फ इस तरह के बदलाव के लिए किसी जरूरी दिशा-निर्देशों के बारे में सूचना चाहिए। इस बारे में 22 सितंबर तक हलफनामा दायर की जाये।’’ पीठ ने साथ ही यह स्पष्ट किया कि वह कोई नोटिस जारी नहीं कर रही है।
एएसजी ने यह दलील दी कि दिशा-निर्देश महज परामर्श हैं और किसी सड़क का नाम बदलने के लिए जरूरी नहीं हैं। इसके बाद अदालत ने जवाब की मांग की।
एएसजी ने कहा, ‘‘इस समय एक राष्ट्रीय व्यक्तित्व को ध्यान में रखकर सड़क के नाम में बदलाव किया गया है। इस तरह के परिवर्तन के लिए एनडीएमसी के पास असीमित अधिकार हैं।’’ सुनवाई के दौरान अदालत ने याचिकाकर्ता और अधिवक्ता शाहिद अली के समक्ष एक प्रश्न रखा जिन्होंने यह आरोप लगाया है कि ‘‘विकृत और सांप्रदायिक राजनीति’’ तथा ‘‘इतिहास की समझ की कमी’’ के कारण यह निर्णय लिया गया है।
भाजपा सांसद महेश गिरि, मीनाक्षी लेखी और आम आदमी पार्टी के व्यापार प्रकोष्ठ के सचिव ने सड़क के नाम में परिवर्तन का आग्रह किया था जिसे एनडीएमसी ने 28 अगस्त को स्वीकार कर लिया।

A sanitary inspector of Alipur area of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation has been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty, the civic body today said.
Accompanied by civic officials, Municipal Commissioner P K Gupta yesterday conducted an inspection of Alipur area of Ward No. 3 to check sanitation and desilting of drains.
During the inspection, vacant plots were found filled with garbage and smaller drains were not cleaned properly, following which the Commissioner directed the Deputy Commissioner to suspend the sanitary inspector of the area for dereliction of duty,

Ministry of Urban Development sets up High Powered Committee on decongestion of National capital Delhi
Secretaries of five union ministries+Delhi government+ten other agencies Will Examine and Report on ‘How to Decongest Delhi’ Within 30 days .
The Ministry of Urban Development has constituted a 17-member High Powered Inter Ministerial Committee to prepare a report on decongestion of Delhi.The Committee has been set up further to the direction of the Urban Development Minister Shri M.Venkaiah Naidu to take necessary measures to improve mobility in the national capital.
The Minister has taken a serious view of media reports highlighting traffic congestion on the roads of Delhi for various reasons and sought corrective interventions on priority.
The Committee will take into account all the technical, financial and administrative aspects on ‘How to Decongest Delhi’ and will submit the report along with proposed action plan by the first week of November, 2014.
The High Powered Inter Ministerial Committee, to be chaired by the Secretary (Urban Development), Government of India, has Chairman, Railway Board, Secretary(Defence), Secretary(Road Transport & Highways), Secretary(Home Affairs) or their representatives as members. The other members of the Committee include:

दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी ने एन डी एम् सी को राजनीतिक षड्यंत्र नहीं रचने के लिए चेतावनी दी है
दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमिटी[ DSGMC ] ने आज न्यू दिल्ली म्युनिसिपल कमेटी[एन डी एम् सी ]को गुरुद्वारे रकाब गंज में प्रस्तावित १९८४ कत्ले आम यादगार के विरुद्ध राजनीतिक षड्यंत्र नहीं रचने के लिए चेतावनी दी है|
एन डी एम् सी के दूसरे नोटिस के जवाब में आज डी एस जी एम् सी [ DSGMC ]ने कहा है कि एन डी एम् सी के पहले नोटिस का जवाब १० जून को ही दिया चुका है|इसके अलावा इससे सम्बंधित तथ्य दिल्ली उच्च न्यायलय में भी प्रस्तुत किये जा चुके हैं|स्मारक को रोकने के लिए की जा रही तमाम शिकायतें घटिया राजनीति से प्रेरित हैं और धार्मिक कार्यों में सीधे दखलंदाजी है|
इन तमाम राजनीती से प्रेरित शिकायतों की आड़ में जो स्मारक को रोकने का षड्यंत्र रचा जा रहा है उसे तत्काल बंद कर देना चाहिए और वी आई पी भवन+गुरुद्वारा रकाब गंज में मौजूदा अवैध निर्माणों को ढाने में एनेर्जी लगाएं|कमेटी के अध्यक्ष मंजीत सिंह के अनुसार अभी तक कोई निर्माण कार्य प्रारम्भ नही किया गया है केवल मुख्य मंत्री के नाम का शिला पट्ट ही बदला गया है|
कमेटी प्रधान के अनुसार गुरुद्वारा रकाब गंज साहब परिसर में स्थित २५००० वर्ग फीट के पुराने ढाँचे को गिरा कर १९८४ सिख अत्लेआम यादगार बनाया जाना है|१९८४ में १५००० सिख मारे गएथे|इस निर्माण के लिए सभी कायदे कानून का पालन किया जाएगा लेकिन दिल्ली और केंद्र की सरकार इसमें अडचने पैदा करके सिखों के जख्मो पर नमक छिड़क रही है|इसीलिए एन डी एम् सी को दायरे में रह कर कार्य करने की चेतावनी दी गई है|
इस नोटिस को लेकर यह भी आरोप लगाया गया है कि एन डी एम् सी ने दिल्ली सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी को कत्ले आम यादगार के निर्माण को रोकने के लिए कहा है |इस बाबत नोटिस आज मिला हैजबकि इस की सूचना पहले ही लीक की जा चुकी है|
