[New Delhi] Khatri Vacates Seat Of UP PCC Chief For Brahmin Claimant ?Khatri Resigns
Uttar Pradesh PCC chief Nirmal Khatri has resigned but the party high command has so far not taken any decision, party As per sources Cong party was looking for a new PCC chief for the UP state especially from the Brahmin community ahead of the Assembly polls scheduled for early next year.
Newly-appointed AICC General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad had indicated that the change in the PCC was on the cards.

The Congress in the last Lok Sabha polls could just manage two of the 80 seats with party chief Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi becoming victorious from their pocket boroughs of Rae Bareli and Amethi.
