Excellent Administrators In 4 Flagship Programmes will Get PM,s Award .The Civil Services Day is celebrated on the 21st of April, every year, where civil servants rededicate themselves to public service and awards for excellence in Public Administration are also conferred.
Following Progrrames are identified for PM’s Awards for Excellence in Public Administration, 2018
1]Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana,
2]Promoting Digital Payments,
3]Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban & Rural, and
4]Deen Dayal Upadhayay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY).
2010 applications are received from 623 districts across States/ UTs under Priority Programmes category
A new category of awards for Additional Secretary/Joint Secretary level officers and Director/ Deputy Secretary serving in Government of India has also been introduced this year to recognize their contribution towards bringing about transformational improvements in processes/systems through simplification and process re-engineering etc.

[New Delhi]Muslims Appreciate Modi’s Development Agenda In Muslim Nations
A Delegation of eminent Muslims called on PM .Cabinet Has also signed MOU Today With UAE Against Human Trafficking.
A delegation of eminent Muslim citizens called on the Prime Minister,Narendra Modi, today.
The members of the delegation included
Maulana Kalbe Jawwad – Shia Cleric;
Shri Kamar Agha – expert on International Islamic Affairs; and
Shri Shahid Siddiqui, among others.
Members of the delegation congratulated the Prime Minister on his recent successful visit to Saudi Arabia.
They said people in West Asia, Central Asia and North Africa, especially the youth, are extremely impressed with the development agenda of Shri Modi, and want good relations with India.
Members of the delegation also praised Shri Modi’s development agenda, and his successful implementation record.
The Prime Minister thanked the delegation, and reiterated his commitment to development, laying special stress on education, and especially girl child education. He expressed hope that the Muslim community in India shall be able to derive huge benefit from the welfare schemes initiated by the NDA Government, such as the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and Mudra Yojana.
