A wine shop employee was allegedly beaten to death by four persons in Ludhiana district after he refused to give them liquor
The assailants allegedly killed Shatrughan on Wednesday night in Kaddon village
. Police said the accused have been identified but yet to be arrested.

Sarabjit Kaur was attacked in the morning when she was parking her scooter outside the school in Kharar town,
The shooter is yet to be identified, police said, adding that he had covered his face with a shawl.
The teacher’s daughter, who studies in the school, was accompanying her at the time of the incident,
Kaur used to teach Punjabi and French at the private school.

Family members of the deceased have alleged that Thakur was facing threats to his life from the assailants, but the police failed to act on time.
