“Our position is very clear and we have three differences with the BJP government. So the talks are on.
“We had brought in the GST and it is beneficial for the people. We want to pass the GST and cooperate with the government,” Rahul added.

Rahul Defends His Nationality And Dares Modi Govt to Jail Him

[New Delhi]Rahul Defends His Nationality And Dares Modi Govt to Jail Him
BJP Leader Subramaniam Swamy has raised question on Rahul’s double citizenship
Hitting back over Subramaniam Swamy’s allegation questioning his nationality, Rahul Gandhi today accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “throwing mud” on him through his “cronies” and dared the government to “jail” him if he is guilty.
Addressing a Youth Congress gathering on the occasion of the 98th birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi, he also accused the RSS and the BJP of throwing mud on his family members ever since he was a child, asserting that he is “not going to be scared” by such things and that he will continue to fight against BJP.
Rahul did not direct refer to Swamy but was apparently referring to his allegations on the basis of documents purportedly showing that Gandhi had claimed himself to be a British national before the company law authorities in the UK for setting up a company.
Swamy had demanded that Gandhi be stripped of Indian citizenship and Lok Sabha membership. He had written to Modi and later to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
Rejecting the allegations, the Congress Vice President today said, I will not withdraw (from attacking Modi). I will continue to fight for the poor+the farmers.”

BJP Sees Congress Hands Behind Destablishing “Sarbat Khalsa”:Punjab Unrest

[Chandigarh,Punjab]BJP Sees Congress Hands Behind Destablishing ‘Sarbat Khalsa’:Unrest In Punjab.
As per Ruling Party ,Sarbat Khalsa has clearly posed a challenge to the unity and integrity of the country, besides posing a threat to peace and tranquility in Punjab.
BJP,On 13 November, accused Congress of “destablising the state and the country” by leading support to ‘Sarbat Khalsa’ held at village Chabba three days ago where ‘Khalistan’ slogans were raised and a convict in former chief minister Beant Singh’s assassination case was appointed as Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib.
BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh said the presence of Congress MLA Ramanjit Singh Sikki, party’s former MLA Inderjit Singh Zira with thousands of Congressmen hints at a deep rooted conspiracy to destablise the state and the country.
Questioning Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi’s silence over participation of Congressmen in Sarbat Khalsa, Chugh said Congress was playing with fire by supporting Khalistani elements to recover its lost political base.
He said Sarbat Khalsa has clearly posed a challenge to the unity and integrity of the country, besides posing a threat to peace and tranquility in Punjab.
Chugh said it seems to be a recap of the 1980s when the infighting between Giani Zail Singh and Darbara Singh had resulted into a dangerous situation as the two groups used anti-national elements for their own vested interests and score over each other.
“Punjab and Punjabis had to pay a heavy price then but it is unfortunate that Congress is once again trying to replicate the same to fulfil their ulterior political motives,”
Chugh said,By allowing its leaders to participate in a congregation hosted by radicals and separatist forces, Congress has once again proved that it has not learnt a lesson from its past mistakes, .
Chugh challenged Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Rahul to come clear on the issue.

[New Delhi,Pune] FTII Protesting Students,Showing Roots,Seek Rahul Gandhi’s Intervention
Students of FTII demanding removal of small screen actor Gajendra Chauhan as chairman of the institute have approached Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, seeking his intervention to check the “assault on institutions of higher learning”.
Sources in Congress said that the students have invited Gandhi to come to Pune and support their cause.
