Actor Deep Sidhu, who was wanted in connection with the Red Fort incident on Republic Day
As per Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell).this arrest has been made by a team of Delhi Police’s Special Cell,
The police had announced a cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for information leading to Sidhu’s arrest.
On January 26, thousands of protesting farmers who reached ITO from the Ghazipur border clashed with police. Many of them driving tractors reached the Red Fort and entered the monument. A religious flag was also hoisted.

Police lathicharged Agitators at Chintamani Chowk in Shadara as some tractors taking part in the rally tried to deviate from the scheduled route and enter Delhi, on Tuesday.
The rally was scheduled to head towards Apsara Border but some of the tractors pushed through a police barricade at Chintamani Chowk. This prompted lathicharge by the police who tried to push back the farmers.
In the chaos, windshields of some vehicles were shattered.
The police managed to disperse the farmers.
A group of farmers who refused to follow the pre-decided routes, reached the ITO area in central Delhi. Police put barricades, used tear gas and lathicharge to stop them near Delhi Police headquaters to prevent them from moving towards Tilak Bridge.

[New Delhi]Brigade of Guards+Sikh Regiment +CISF Awarded Best Marching Contingents on Republic Day
CISF Also received the trophy for being the best marching contingent among para- military forces.
The Brigade of The Guards and the Sikh Regiment were collectively awarded the “Best Marching Contingents Trophy for Republic Day Parade 2015” by Chairman Chief of Staff Committee, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, during an award ceremony held at Ministry of Defence, New Delhi on 11 Feb 2015.
Capt Aditya Tanwar, Brigade of The Guards Contingent Commander along with Brig DV Singh, Centre Commandant, the Guards Regimental Centre and Lt Vikram Grewal, Sikh Regiment Contingent Commander along with Brig KBK Kesab, Centre Commandant, the Sikh Regimental Centre, jointly received the Trophy.
Gen Dalbir Singh, The Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Ashok Singh, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Southern Command and ‘Colonel’ of The Brigade of The Guards and Lt Gen G S Shergill, Chief of Staff, Central Command and ‘Colonel’ of the Sikh Regiment & other Senior Officers from MoD and Paramilitary Force were present for the Award Ceremony.
Later, The COAS also presented cash awards to the contingents of the Brigade of the Guards and Sikh Regiment in a separate ceremony.

पद्म पुरस्कार 2015 की घोषणा प्रतिवर्ष की भांति 25 जनवरी को ही होगी |गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रेषित विज्ञप्ति में बताया गया है कि
केंद्र सरकार ने वर्ष 2015 के लिए पद्म पुरस्कारों की घोषणा अभी नहीं की है। इन पुरस्कारों की घोषणा प्रति वर्ष गणतंत्र दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर 25 जनवरी को की जाती है।
मीडिया में आ रहे नामों की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की गई है|गौरतलब है कि पद्म पुरस्कार 2015 के लिए बाबा राम देव+श्री श्री रवि शंकर +एल के अडवाणी+अमिताभ बच्चन आदि के नाम मीडिया में छाए हुए हैं |बाबा राम देव को लेकर राजनीतिक दलों ने एतराज भी जताना शुरू कर दिया |इसके पश्चात गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा यह स्पष्टीकरण दिया गया है कि पद्म पुरस्कार 2015 की घोषणा प्रतिवर्ष की भांति 25 जनवरी को ही होगी
