As per the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017, it has been made mandatory for the establishments employing 50 or more employees to provide crèche facility, either separately or along with common facilities within a prescribed distance.
This information was given by Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Union Minister of State (I/C) for Labour and Employment in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today

Undisclosed income of Rs 43,829 crore, both from domestic and foreign sources, has been detected by government in the last two financial years,This was informed in Parliament today.
“The amount received under the one-time compliance window, as part of enforcement measures during the last two financial years, searches in 990 groups of assessees and surveys in 9,457 cases were conducted, resulting in detection of undisclosed income of Rs 43,829 crores,” Minister of State for Finance Santosh Kumar Gangwar said in a written reply to Rajya Sabha.
Kumar said the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and imposition of Tax Act, 2015 enacted on May 26, 2015 provided a one-time compliance window for declaration of undisclosed foreign assets.
“An amount of Rs 2,476 crores was received as tax and penalty from 648 declarants under the said window,” Gangwar said.
Besides, the Finance Act, 2016 provides for the Income Declaration Scheme 2016.
He added The scheme has commenced from June 1, 2016 and will close on September 30, 2016,

मैले में भारी भीड़ उमड़ी|भाजपा नेताओं का जमावड़ा भी था| इस लाभकारी योजना का उद्घाटन केन्द्रीय उद्योग राज्यमंत्री संतोष गंगवार के साथ भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष+मेरठ के लाडले विधायक डा. लक्ष्मीकांत वाजपेयी ने किया।
यह मेला दो दिन तक चलेगा जिसका समापन केन्द्रीय लघु, मध्यम एवं सूक्ष्म उद्योग मंत्री कलराज मिश्र करेंगे।
इस योजना के अंतर्गत ५०००० रुपये तक का लोन दिया जाना है जिसके लिए बंधक गारंटी की फॉर्मेलिटी की आवश्यकता नहीं है|
सम्भवत इसीलिए ऋण की इस योजना के फार्म पाने के लिये लोगों में गुत्थम-गुत्था भी होती देखी गई|
ऋण मेले में अपेक्षा से अधिक भीड होने के फलस्वरूप फार्म कम पड गये और फार्म पाने के लिये छीना-झपटी तक हुई|अनेक लोग निराश जाते दिखाई दिए

[नई दिल्ली]साध्वी उमा भारती के गंगा संरक्षण मंत्रालय को १०० दिनी उपलब्धि बताने का कोई निर्देश नहीं साध्वी उमा भारती के जल संसाधन मंत्रालय ने यधपि मीडिया में छपी ख़बरों का खंडन तो कर दिया मगर १०० दिनों की उपलब्धि पर कोई रिपोर्ट ना तो साँझा की और नाही इसके लिए कोई समयावधि की घोषणा ही की है| मंत्रालय के अनुसार इसके लिए कोई दिशा निर्देश प्राप्त नहीं हुआ है|
जल संसाधन मंत्रालय द्वारा आज निम्न स्पष्टीकरण जारी किया गया है
“मीडिया के एक वर्ग ने खबर दी है कि जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा संरक्षण मंत्रालय अपनी उपलब्धियों को प्रदर्शित करने को लेकर प्रेस सम्मेलन आयोजित करने में हिचकिचा रहा था और उसे इसके आयोजन के लिए निर्देशित किया गया है।
इस संबंध में, यह स्पष्ट किया जाता है कि मंत्रालय द्वारा इस प्रकार का कोई निर्देश प्राप्त नहीं किया गया है और ये खबरें पूरी तरह से आधारहीन और काल्पनिक हैं। विभिन्न मंत्रालयों ने द्वारा पहले से ही अपने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित कर ली हैं और यह मंत्रालय नियत समय में इस संबंध में फैसला करेगा” गौरतलब है के एन डी ऐ की सरकार बनाते ही प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सभी मंत्रियों से १०० दिनों की प्राथमिकता तय करने को कहा था |इस अवधि की उपलब्धता शेयर करने के लिए मंत्रालयों दवारा प्रेस कांफ्रेंस आयोजित की जा रही हैं लेकिन बीते दिनों १५ मंत्रियों द्वारा उपलब्धि शेयर नहीं किये जाने पर सवाल उठाये गए याहन तक कहा गया के प्रधान मंत्री इन मंत्रियों से अप्रसन्न हैं और १५ मंत्रियों को उपलब्धि बताने के लिए निर्देशित किया गया है |

To Provide Online Marketing Platform and Market Intelligence to Boost Handloom Weavers MoU has been signed by Shri Dinesh Kumar, Development Commissioner (Handlooms) and Mr. Ankit Nagori, V.P., Marketplace, Flipkart. Flipkart will provide online marketplace for sale of the products of the weavers/master craftsmen/national awardees/state level awardees and the others as advised by Development Commissioner for Handlooms.
The Ministry of Textiles today announced that Ministry through DC (Handlooms) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Flipkart India Pvt. Ltd. to provide online marketing platform to handloom weavers to boost the handloom sector, empower the weavers and boost manufacturing in the country.
The MoU was signed here in the presence of the Minister of State (Independent Charge) Textiles Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar+Secretary (Textiles), Shri Sanjay Kumar Panda+Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Shri Dinesh Kumar+Mr. Joy Bandekar+President Corporate Affairs, Mr. Ankit Nagori+V.P., Marketplace, Flipkart and other officials of Ministry of Textiles.
Through this exclusive agreement, Flipkart will provide weavers in India online marketing platform, infrastructural support in data analytics and customer acquisition to help them get remunerative prices for their products and scale up their business.
For marketing support, the Ministry of Textiles has taken many initiatives from time to time such as organizations of domestic marketing events, participation in international fairs and buyer-seller meets etc. However, in the present scenario of online marketing and net savvy consumers, it has been felt need to provide online marketing platform to handloom weavers so that exquisite handloom products of remote village is made available to discerning buyers.
. The DATA analytics and market intelligence provided by Flipkart will help the weavers focus only on producing better saleable product ranges.
This partnership will connect the artisans directly to the buyer and the hand holding by Flipkart in guiding, packaging, collecting and delivering to the buyer will motivate the artisans in rural India. North East has skilled weavers with rich traditional motifs and designs, but due to the lack of market linkages they are not able to exploit the market potential. Similarly, Paithani and Himroo weaves from Maharashtra have tremendous value but are a dying art.
