Uma Bharti Launches Website For People,s Involvement on Mission Clean Ganga
As a major step towards people’s involvement in Ganga rejuvenation the Union Minister of Water Resource+River Development + Ganga Rejuvenation Sadhvi Uma Bharti launched a website on Ganga .
The bilingual website has a provision to receive feedback from the public where suggestions can be given about Ganga Rejuvenation plan. Members of the public can also upload files up to the size of 4 MB along with their suggestions.
Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that the launch of the website is an important tool to connect the public with the gigantic task of Ganga rejuvenation.
Sadhvi expressed the hope that large number of people concerned with the present state of Ganga will come forward to give their suggestions to improve the situation.

वाटर एंड पावर कंसलटेंसी सर्विसेज (वैपकौस) ने २० करोड़ का लाभ दिया
जल संसाधन मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत सार्वजिनक क्षेत्र के संगठन वाटर एंड पावर कंसलटेंसी सर्विसेज (वैपकौस) ने आज नई दिल्ली में जल संसाधन मंत्री श्री हरीश रावत को 2012-13 के लिए 12 करोड़ रुपये का लाभांश तथा 8 करोड़ रुपये का बोनस शेयर प्रमाणपत्र भेंट किया।
इस चेक हस्तांतरण सभा में जल संसाधन सचिव श्री आलोक रावत और वैपकौस के अध्यक्ष सह-प्रबंध निदेशक श्री आर. के. गुप्ता भी उपस्थित थे
इस अवसर पर श्री रावत ने वैपकौस की उपलब्धियों के लिए प्रबंधन की सराहना की।
