Entransys, an AI, IoT and mobility-based smart solutions company, announced that it has joined the Qualcomm® Smart Cities Accelerator Program to offer its innovative end-to-end solutions like Smart Parking (Parkeze), ITMS, Smart Safety and Security, Smart Agriculture, and Smart Bins for smart, safe and secure cities. Leveraging its cloud-based platforms, Entransys will work with the vast ecosystem of the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program and its members to promote widespread adoption of smart parking (Parkeze), Intelligent Transport Management Systems (ITMS), Smart Safety and Security, as well as Smart Agriculture.
Launched in 2019 as part of the Qualcomm® Advantage Network, the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerator Program is designed to connect cities, municipalities, government agencies, and enterprises with an ecosystem of providers to help deliver greater efficiencies, cost savings, safety, and sustainability. With proven expertise in commercially deployed solutions, program members include hardware and software providers, cloud solution providers, system integrators, design and manufacturing companies, as well as those offering end-to-end smart city solutions. By connecting members looking for smart city solutions, the program aims to enrich lives through the accelerated transformation of city infrastructure and services.

Minister of State (I/C) for Housing & Urban Affairs Hardeep Puri, will inaugurate the ‘First Apex Conference for the CEOs of Smart Cities ‘in Bhopal tomorrow i.e 8th May 2018.
This ambitious scheme was launched on 25 June 2015
The two-day conference is being organised for providing a platform for cross learning and knowledge sharing among the Smart City CEOs on 8-9 May 2018.
The Apex Conference is being organized with an objective to provide momentum to the cities and a platform for cross-learning, sharing and disseminating the experience gained over the past two and a half years.

The least clean cities included Dhanbad,Asansol Itanagar, Patna, Meerut, Raipur, Ghaziabad, Jamshedpur, Varanasi and Kalyan Dombivili.
Mysuru Declared cleanest city of India
Mysuru has been ranked first in terms of cleanliness again after 2014, followed by Chandigarh+Tiruchirappalli + NDMC area of the national capital, according to a QCI survey.
The rankings of the Swachh Survekshan Survey, conducted by Quality Council of India, were announced by Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu
Visakhapatnam, Surat, Rajkot, Gangtok, Pimpri-Chindwad (Maharashtra) were also among the top ten clean cities.
The least clean cities included Dhanbad, Asansol Itanagar, Patna, Meerut, Raipur, Ghaziabad, Jamshedpur, Varanasi and Kalyan Dombivili.
As part of ‘Swachh Bharat Mission’, the survey was commissioned across 73 cities, including 51 cities that have a population of over 10 lakh each and 22 capital cities that do not have that much population.
